#Black Market, Arnotville
Kim pushed the entrance door, expecting it to be closed. But it was ajar and easy to open. The inside was completely dark. The dense darkness just sucked the brightness out of her flash. As soon as she entered the shop, she felt a chilling sensation down her spine.
“Something is here. I can feel it.” She clutched her purse. There was her trusted concealed weapon—the Smith & Wesson 686 Plus, 0.357 Magnum. But she did not want to bring that out so quickly.
“Hello? Anyone there?” She called out for someone. Suddenly, she felt a movement in the shadows.
“Something definitely moved.” She flashed her light there. But the moment the beam of light fell where the movement was, the light flickered a few times, and its brightness vanished. It kept flickering, like it was damaged. The atmosphere was really eerie, as if something unnatural were happening.
