Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

My Sister

~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: The World Between Worlds)~~~

"You may call me Sister. We are related in a sense. While Abeloth didn't give birth to my brother and me, she still served as our mother. That makes you my brother in name."

She slowly walks toward me, and I look around the place to get a better look. Seeing it in person is so much better than through a screen. The World Between Worlds is a place that connects all of time and space together.

You can travel to any point through here. There are several ways to travel through time using The Force. But The World Between Worlds is the most accurate way to do it.

"Why am I here?"

That's the main question on my mind. I'm looking for a way to reach Abeloth. That's the whole reason I'm doing all this. But I don't know why I was brought here.

"I don't know. Only you go where you want. This is probably the best place to come if you're looking for answers. That's why you've found yourself here."

Great, I was hoping she'd be vague about this...

"That's hardly an answer I'd like, but I guess I can't complain."

I walk past her and to one of the closest doorways. I look through it and see the moment when Qui-gon Jinn found Anakin Skywalker. Only to see the moment be erased. My birth replaces it. Abeloth screams in pain as I'm brought out of her.

"If you're here to find your mother, it's possible. But walking through any of these gates will alter time. It could lead to the destruction of all life."

Which is why I can't walk through any of these gates... Then why the hell am I here?

"You know where she's located. If I asked you where and how I could find her, would you tell me..."

I look away from the triangular doorway and look at my sister. I should be worried about Nella and SCORPIO right now, but The Force is telling me they're safe.

She squints her eyes slightly and bends down. She takes my hand and a powerful connection forms between us. It nearly knocks the air out of my lungs. I don't know what she's doing, but I feel at peace. She's the embodiment of the light, and this is probably one of her powers.

"You've grown so powerful, little brother. But not strong enough to meet your mother. Abeloth will try to break free. She must not be allowed in the open galaxy. That's why I can't tell you."

It's understandable. Abeloth, while not inherently evil, will have a negative effect on the galaxy. But I still want to meet her. I want to talk to her in person. I want to judge for myself if she's bad for the galaxy or not.

"I'd ask about other things, but I feel like I'd be wasting both of our time."

She lets go of my hand and takes a step away. Bowing slightly.

"You're welcome to come to speak to me any time. All you need is to find your way back here. Just like before."

Before I can say anything else, I find myself on the ground and looking at the ceiling of the Ancient Jedi Temple on Lothal. Next to me is Nella, and SCORPIO is nowhere to be found.

"Hey."

Her head pokes up, and she looks at me with a smile.

"Oh, thank The Force you're still alive! I thought you might never wake up again!"

This can't be good.

~~~(Location: Ancient Jedi Temple, Lothal)~~~
"After you passed out, SCORPIO didn't take long to leave me alone with you. That was a day ago. I'm pretty sure she's taken the ship and left. I couldn't protect you and stop her at the same time. I'm sorry..."
I wish I could've done better, but this is all I can really say.
Nate leans against the wall and rolls his neck. He's probably sore from sleeping on the hard floors. He lets out a long sigh and relaxes.
"You don't need to be sorry. SCORPIO wasn't sticking around for much longer. It's annoying she's taken my ship. But that doesn't mean it's the end for us. There are other ways off this world."
I'm glad he's not mad, but I'm not sure he'll be the same way if we ever see SCORPIO again. She did steal his ship, after all.
