The novel "South of River Screen" is a gripping detective thriller set against the backdrop of contemporary America. It follows the enigmatic Homicide Captain Joe Harper and renowned psychiatrist Dr. Adam Kane. Their paths cross in a chilling case of unnatural death amongst psychiatric patients. Joe discovers that Adam is the adopted son of his late mentor, a decorated police detective who died under mysterious circumstances labeled a "traffic accident." For years, Joe has been investigating the case in secret, making no progress as those in the know remain silent. Deliberately, Joe tries to get close to Adam, but Adam seems indifferent towards his foster father's memory. As the investigation progresses, it appears to engulf them both into an abyss with no end.
