Chapter 15

"Auntie, Are you feeling okay now?" asked Eun to the lady.

"Better than before. you did you come to the village? I missed you so much." asked the lady.

"It's been four or five days," answered Eun. She wanted to talk about her son, but how she could start, she doesn't know. So they were talking about another matter. The lady asked her questions like how is she, when will her study finish, what she wants to do after finishing her exam, etc. Eun kept answering the questions but she was thinking something. She wanted to know the details of her son. But the matter was not coming out from her mouth. So she couldn't ask anything and after they talked for an hour Eun gets up to leave.

"Can you tell me where is your sister?" asked Tae Jin to the boy. Damien doesn't answer and starts moving. So without getting his answers, Tae Jin asks again, "Hey! I am talking to you. Why are you ignoring me?" Tae Jin noticed that since the day they came to this house this boy ignored him in every situation. When he comes to a room, Damien leaves the room. And now he looks at him so angrily that it seems like he wants to kill him with those eyes. Seeing that Tae Jin smiles and said,

"What with this look? What's wrong with you? Why you are acting like this?"

"You stole my sister from me," answered Damien.

"I stole your what?" laughed Tae Jin. "Didn't you hear what I said?" answered the boy angrily. Tae Jin guessed what's going on and to make him angrier he said,

"So what? You are her younger brother. I love her and she loves me. You know she loves me like I am her everything. She cannot leave a single day without me. Got it, kid?" saying this he started to laugh. Damien was so angry to hear this that his face turned red out of anger. But he couldn't say a word and went outside. Standing some times there Tae Jin also went outside and saw that the boy was sitting beside the pond. The pond looked like a lake. It was beautiful. Tae Jin came to him and said, "I am leaving this pond for you. It is also so beautiful." While laughing Tae Jin noticed that the boy was crying. He felt sorry for his behavior and sat beside the boy. Damien moved aside and Tae Jin also moved close to him. He put his hand on the kid's shoulder. Then he says,

"I am sorry. I didn't mean that. Don't cry. Do you know? You have a nice sister. I wish that I had an elder sister like her! She cares so much for others. She is very kind to helpless people. She has a nice heart. I wish I could have a nice heart like her!" Damien wiped his eyes and begins to talk. He said,

"Yeah, I know. That's why I love her. When I was so helpless, she helped me, she lets me stay with her, she admitted me back to my school. And now she is working hard every day for me. But, do you know, we have no blood relation. Where will you get such a kind girl like her!"

"What? You have no blood relation?" asked Tae Jin being surprised. Damien answered in negative and then he began to tell him his story. How he met her, how she forgave him. And the next day when he came to her, she asked many questions and he answered. From that day he is staying with her like a brother. Tae Jin listened to the boy carefully. The more he hears, the more he wonders. How could a girl live like this? She has nothing to help people. But she helps people with whatever she has. Now Tae Jin feels that his life is useless. He can't help poor people. He has a lot of money, but he never helped a single person. He stays silent and enjoys the beauty of nature and thinking about Eun. If he didn't meet with her, he could not understand how beautiful life is! His life was limited to stage and in singing. Yes, he earned a lot of love from people without helping them. But what will he do with this love? When his fans could not believe in him in his bad days? But this girl earned a lot of love from people by helping them. They will stand beside her always. Thinking of these things he took a long breath. Suddenly Damien starts to talk.

"You know what? I feel like I used to live in this village. It looks very familiar to me. This pond, this beautiful sky, the trees, the whole of the green village. I think I belong here. When I was small I lived in a house beside this pond. But one day I was lost when I was at a festival with my mom. I have just my mom in this world." Tae Jin was listening quietly. But now, he is curious to hear the full story of this boy. So he asked,

"How old were you back then?"

"Maybe eight," replied Damien. What happened that day?

"How did you lose your mom?" asked Tae Jin being curious. Damien started to tell his story, "I was there with my mom. As there were too many people there, I held my mom's hand tightly. But suddenly I saw a food cart which was full of delicious foods and expensive chocolates. I asked my mom to buy me the chocolate. But my mom couldn't afford to buy me such expensive things. Because my father is dead and she has to earn money for maintaining our family. But she didn't earn that much. So, she refused to buy me that. But I was so persistent that I would have the thing whatever I want at any cost. So I began to insist. Then she yelled at me and told me not to be like that. Some minutes later she started to talk with a lady who lived in front of our house. Then I took my hand from her grief and went to that car. There was no one inside the car. It was there for delivering food. I went inside the car where all of the sweets were kept. I closed the backside door and started eating. Suddenly I felt like the car was moving. I wanted to go back. So I hit the door quickly and loudly. But it was locked from the outside. I started to shout for help. But no one listened to me. And I remained inside weeping. Maybe I fell asleep and when I opened my eyes the car was standing. And it's door was open. So, I came out from there and ran away. But I couldn't find a way to my home. So I stayed there."

"So, you are staying with Eun from then?" asked Tae Jin.

"No. There was a brother who found me that night and kept me. He wanted to send me back home. But I couldn't help him to search for my home. I used to live with him. But six months ago, he died in a car accident. And after some days I met with my sister and stayed with her." said The boy. Tae Jin felt sorry for him. If anyone noticed then it would be seen that his eyes were full of tears.

"I will help you find your mom," said Tae Jin consoling him. A few minutes while staying silent both of them, Damien walked away. But Tae Jin still sat there. He liked it here like this. "Can you swim?" asked Eun. Tae Jin didn't notice that Eun was standing beside him.

"I can. I am an athlete. And I am the best swimmer." replied Tae Jin.

"So, why don't you try to swimming here?" said Eun.

"Here?"

"Yes, here. Is there any problem? Let's race." said Eun.

"You dare to challenge me, huh? Okay, let's race." saying this Tae Jin put off his shirt and went into the pond.

"But carefully, there are many dangerous things inside the pond," said Eun. "Dangerous what? I am not afraid of anything," said Tae Jin proudly.

"Really? Not even snakes or crocodiles?" asked Eun and smiled dangerously.

"Not at all." Tae Jin replied without noticing what Eun said. But when he noticed he got afraid and said,

"W-what? Cr-crocodile?"

"Yes. Some crocodile lives here." Eun answered simply. Tae Jin's legs we're under the water. But hearing this he felt like his legs were stuck in rocks. Suddenly, a stick came by floating and hit with Tae Jin's leg. Tae Jin thought that it was a crocodile and he ran out of the water and rushed to Eun and hold her hand. Seeing that Eun began to laugh. That time Damien came and took the stick and started to walk.

"Hey! What is that?" asked Tae Jin angrily.

"What? That stick?" showing the stick Damien asked.

"Yes. Is there any other stick around us? asked Tae Jin arrogantly. Oh! I made a boat with paper and let it float in the water. But it floated away. So, I used this stick to bring the boat back. But unfortunately, it slipped out my hand and came here." said Damien and left.

"Aish! That little brat! Why does he have to play with paper. Such a waste of paper." said Tae Jin angrily. Eun kept laughing and when she noticed that Tae Jin still held her hand, she said slowly,

"Now you can leave me, idiot." Tae Jin left her hand quickly and said arrogantly like before,

"Why did you scare me like this? I hate reptiles. Don't do that again. Got it?" Eun stopped laughing because since they met, Tae Jin behave like a gentle man. He never talked with her like this. He was seriously afraid and shameful. So she said quietly and being afraid, "I didn't mean that, I didn't think that you will get scared. I just wanted to make fun because you were staring in the water so deeply. I am sorry." Saying this Eun left to the house.

[In Ji Na's house]

We will surprised her. "What do you think? If she see us, would she be happy?" asked Kang Ji Hyung. "Yes, Why not? She loves us. And if she see us there, she will definitely be happy. I assure you."

"But what will you tell your boyfriend? If he wants to know where are you and with whom you are?" asked Kang Ji Hyung.

"What? I will tell him the truth. He will never mind." said Ji Na assuredly.

"Fine." said Kang Ji Hyung shortly.

"But you get nervous in front of her. So, what if our plan doesn't work for your nervousness?" said Ji Na.

"No, it will work. I assure you. Let's practice one more time." requested Kang Ji Hyung.

"Okay, wait up. I will wear the glass again." said Ji Na and wore the glass on her eye. She acted arrogant and creepy like Eun. Kang Ji Hyung was thinking something. So, to break his thoughts, Ji Na coughed and said, "So, Mr. Kang Ji Hyung what are you gonna say to me?"

"I am gonna say that, will you mind me, if I want to get you as my girlfriend?" said Kang Ji Hyung.

"How many times have I told you, you cannot propose a girl like this. You will never get a girl but shoes like this." said Ji Na angrily.

"Okay, okay give me one more chance." saying this Kang Ji Hyung kneel down before Ji Na and said, "I love you. Will you please date with me?"

"I love you. Date me. You called it a proposal? Forget it. You can never propose her." said Ji Na weirdly and angrily.

"Okay, then teach me." requested Kang Ji Hyung.

"I will think about it." Ji Na acting like she will refuse him.

"Okay, Teach me please?" requested Kang Ji Hyung.

"Okay, listen to me carefully. You have to say that, Star! How could I tell you but you stole my heart, my sleep, my hunger, my thirst. Whenever I think about you, I feel like I am in heaven. Whenever you stay away from me, I feel like I would rather die. You come to my dream every night. I can't stay away from you anymore. I just want you besides me until I grow old and die. I love your smiles, I love when you get angry on me, I love when you care about me, I love your everything. I will always be there when you need me, In your happiness and sadness, we will share it at any cost. You are my star. You shine in my heart. I can think nothing without you. I dream of you, I dream of our future. Please, accept me. I swear, I will never hurt you. I will always care for you. I don't want to be a boyfriend like other boys. I just want to be the man with whom you could share your all happiness and all sufferings. Now, can you give me a chance to prove myself as your lover?" said Ji Na. Kang Ji Hyung was surprised that he was learning that from a girl! He felt ashamed because it was so real that anyone can think that this girl proposed him right now. But he doesn't noticed that Ji Na's eyes were full of tears. But somehow she controlled herself and told him to do this. Kang Ji Hyung was trying to do that.
