Skelengel; Tales Of The Boundless One [Not Updating]

When the universe creates a person, they are bestowed with certain traits that we, as mere humans, are aware of. Sportiness, the ability to work with computers, and creativity are all things we may obtain at creation. However, some of those talents extend far past the mortal realm of flesh and blood. They go all the way to your very soul, and these are the ones that we cannot see. These few are destined to become Boundless. And it just so happens that one was designated to die on the fateful day a new god took sight over the earth. This is the tale of Aaron Stone, the once businessman turned planetary traverser. Aided by himself and his potential, he plans to live out his life with peace of mind. However, the universe has it out for him, and it won't let him ever have true peace. However, someone from behind the shadows controls everything, and they have quite a distaste for Aaron Stone. They will try to make his life a living hell. Everything you read here is an account of something going on in the vast universe. Hell, who knows... It may even be YOU who takes his place in the future. "What the hell are you on about?" Aaron asked the blue figure. "N0N3 is a skill of mine, not a literal person. It's the skill that got me here, and I have mixed feelings about it. After all, it has been related to both the good and bad things in my life." Aaron stated, a light similar to the colour of N0N3's skin flaring up in his hand.

"Hold on for a second! I'm not here to cause any trouble!" N0N3 stated, putting its hands into the air as part of the face cleared away, revealing half of the eyes of the unconscious Hero. "This body was too good to pass up, I swear! He has the perfect living environments for me, and now I can live in the physical realm!" He exclaimed as his face reverted to a blank blue canvas. "I still need time to shape my own body, as I have no idea what I want to look like yet. You get to choose what you look like, Aaron, so I decided that I wanted to do the same thing."

"So, this is what you wanted, huh? To enter the physical realm? Well, I honestly can't blame you for wanting to get out of my body." Aaron sighed, putting his hand on N0N3's shoulder, before looking at him with a stare of death. "Do not let the Hero's body get damaged. He doesn't deserve such cruelty." Aaron stated, peering into the imaginary soul of N0N3 as he realised that Aaron meant what he was saying. "No, I won't let this get damaged. It's too perfect of a specimen." N0N3 replied, scared shitless by Aaron's death stare. It was like Aaron was inviting him to let it get damaged, warning him of great pain. "Good. We both now know where we stand in this deal, so you better keep your word. I think you can tell what will happen if you fail to comply." Aaron confirmed before he turned to face Crystet and the child. He wasn't able to tell who was in control from this distance.

Crystet began walking over, looking at Aaron and the blue figure which had taken over the Hero's body. "What happened to him?" Crystet asked, with Clair, the original girl, on his shoulders. "I can give you the short version, as that's all I know. Basically, one of my skills grew a consciousness, possessed the Hero, and now we are here." Aaron bluntly explained, pointing his two hands towards the blue-coated individual. "Oh, don't mind {What happened?} to the Hero! He's alright! He's just a little unsure of {Where am I?}. Don't worry about him. We'll come to be friends at some point, me and {I can't see.}."

"It appears the Hero has woken up again, Z3R0. His voice keeps interrupting yours." Aaron reminded him, giving N0N3 the idea to tell Aaron about what was actually happening. "Well, the only reason why he's still talking is that he's the owner of this body. His soul is the {something} that's {stopping me from getting out.}." He explained, his blue skin pulling away from his face, revealing the Hero's unconscious head once more. Suddenly, however, the Hero woke up, looking around with limited movement, restricted to moving his head from side to side. "Monster! Help me out of this situation!" The Hero yelled as Aaron let out a deep sigh. "Here. I have an alternative to setting you free. Since you're being possessed by what appears to be one of my skills, you could be the second intermediator between humans and a peaceful race of monsters. After all, we'd be able to instil a peace treaty between humans and us Inhumans. After all, calling us monsters would be correct, but grouping us intelligent ones with ones that only follow orders blindly is like an insult. I don't mind it, but it would make conversations difficult, you know?" Aaron pointed out. "Plus, you couldn't really go back to the church the way you are now, could you?"

The Hero looked dejected at hearing what Aaron had said, but he couldn't argue against what he was saying. After all, he'd be cast out as a monster by the church and accused of heresy, even though he had no choice in what happened to him. "Yeah, I can't find a good argument against that. I'll be quiet while the thing controlling me talks now." The Hero responded as N0N3 gave an interesting response. "You know I have feelings too, right? I may just be a skill, but I can now think for myself, so that hurts me." N0N3 replied, scaring the shit out of the Hero. "You can SPEAK?!" He yelled out in surprise as Aaron just watched on. The pair began to speak back and forth, and one question just rebounded around Aaron's head.

'How the hell does a skill gain a consciousness?' Aaron kept thinking to himself, and after about thirty seconds, Memica piped up. [Well, I don't have any concrete evidence, but I have a theory to answer your question, Aaron.] Memica stated, poking at Aaron's curiosity. He wanted to know whatever strange ideas or thoughts she had on this entire situation. 'Shoot.'

[Now, this is crazy, but let me explain. What if the skill gained consciousness due to the way you lived your life. Or maybe because of your ascension in Boundlessness? After all, the second one is much more plausible, considering all of the stupid stuff we've seen Boundless people like yourself do.] Memica proposed as Aaron realised what she was saying could very well be true. 'True. You might be on to something there, Memica.' Aaron reasoned as he looked back towards N0N3 and the Hero continuing their conversation.

"Hey, N0N3, what other names do you go by, and when did you start thinking about things?" Aaron asked him, leading to a look of blankness from N0N3 as he still had no face.

"Well, just call me None, since it's annoying calling me by those letters and numbers. To answer the second question, I think it was just after you had achieved a new Boundless state, as I remember absolutely nothing before you hit your new Boundless marking."
