Elephants afraid of mice

(A/N I meant to make his dexterity go up 20 points and not just 2, I fixed this as so on the last chapter.

Also I forgot to mention because of physical training Sesshomaru is bigger like Toga and has the torso of Ichigo at the end of the plot.)

Me and Gaara stood there for what felt like five minutes staring at each other

I scowled at him but underneath that scowl I thought to myself

'Should I make the first move or....'

Gaara grabbed at me with a huge hand made of sand as big as an oak tree, and the fingers looked like they had claws on them

I dodged out of the way to the next branch

"Sand stars !" Gaara

Gaara launched stars made out of sand at me, but the attack is too slow, I move out of the way again

"GAAaaHAh !!!" Gaara screams and I'm completely mentally scattered

Half of his face has become like a monster's

It's like I'm not even participating in this fight but instead spectating it

He repeats these weak attacks for another two minutes and then gives up

"Since these attacks are ineffective to you, let me show you my TRUE POWER !!!" He said and made a cross with both of his index and middle fingers

A cloud of sand solidified on his body and then he fell asleep

'Wait a second, I remember...' My thoughts were interrupted as Garaa transformed into a giant monster

"HEHEHEhahaha...." The one tailed beast laughed like the devil

In the mean time, I turned invisible and his my presence.

"HAhahaaHAA !!! Where did you go bug ? Don't hide, face me and DIE!!! Hahahahahaha!!!" Shukaku

'Me, bug, you're like, nine times weaker than me at the very least. But if that's true then why do I feel like.....I don't know what's crazier this situation or the fact that Naruto took this guy head on as a little kid.... Screw all of this !' I thought and then magically teleported right in front the one tailed beast

"There you are, DIE !" Shukaku yelled then opened his mouth, a blast of air ? No almost like he blasted. the atmosphere itself at me

The air blew my hair back and made clothes blow in the wind

I looked at my hands and then use my hands and felt myself around

The one tailed beast looked very confused on why I wasn't blown away

I look at the palms my hands one more time

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but Jinchurikis can never hurt me." I say and look up at the beast

He tries to swat at me but I flash step my way behind Shukaku, onto a tree branch and turned invisible to give himself some time to think

'This guy isn't fearsome at all, he's just a big clumsy oaf, a target that can barely move, so why was I....'

As I stand there and think about what was I so worried about it hits me

"Killing intent..." Gaara was emitting his killing intent at me, that's what kept my mind disordered

A short flashback of me looking into Gaara's eyes flash in my mind

Dexterity +20

My dexterity as increased again, is it because I'm actually learning something from these mock battles .

I spent years sparring and going all out against duplications of myself, and not once did I ever feel or think of the words killing intent in that order

Was it because I never fought with the intention of killing myself....

"It's time for you to go Shukaku." I say and summon Bakusaiga from my storage

Skill gained: Protagonist's courage, protagonist is no longer vulnerable killing intent and will not feel fear in dangerous situations

Shukaku was turning towards me but it was too late

I let my demonic power run through the sword, Bakusaiga looked like it was on fire and the fire was for some reason green

I raise my arm up and slash vertically down

A large wave of light green energy comes from the sword and blasts literally everything in front of me

Cracks formed all over Shukaku who was being blasted by Bakusaiga's attack

"GAAAAAAAAAAAH !" Shukaku screams and then explodes crumbles into dust.

Mission complete

Reward: 2,000 Gacha points

continued retry quit

I press continue

My surroundings go dark again momentarily

Once I can see again....

"AAAAAAAAHHHH !" A crowd is cheering

I look around and I'm in a boxing ring with an audience

"And in the other corner, you know him, you live him..." An announcer was calling out

I look at the corner opposite of mine

It was a guy with curly orangish- brown hair sticking up

He had pinkish skin with a painted pink diamond and star on his face

"....Hisoka Morooooooooow"

'I knew exactly where I'm at, this is the heaven's tower arc, but it's slightly different from the original scene.' I thought while looking around

Scenerio 3

Mission: Defeat Hisoka without killing him, MMA rules, judges decide the victor

Reward: 2,000 Gacha points

"Aaaaaaannnd fight !" The announcer yelled

I look into Hisoka's eyes, he has this smirk on his face and he's looking into my eyes too

Because I've been learning and gaining skills from these challenges I am choosing to hold back and not overpower Hisoka, I'll hold back and see what I learn from this fight

'I'll only use toki in this fight and restrict my raw power as well.' I planned to fight him on even terms of what I've seen from him in the anime

I glow white with the aura of toki and he glows pink with his own aura of nen

We both flashstep from our spots and then into the middle of the ring and then started exchanging blows

For the first 90 seconds of us striking I was incredibly glad for my duplication magic again because not only did I have experience fighting, but I also had gained the skills "hand to hand combatant" and another skill "martial arts", but like I said I was only glad for the first 90 seconds, because I soon found myself being slowly pushed back and taking more blows than I thought I would

I wasn't being pushed directly backwards into my corner, but more to the ropes on the right side of the ring. and then it occured to me.

While I did spend a lot of time sparring with various clones of different strengths of me and variations of me...I only have experience fighting against myself and not other opponents

"Dexterity +20"

I was getting frustrated

"It's because your feints are sloppy." Hisoka

"Wait what ? " I said getting out of my head

"Your feints, they aren't believable, I mean you're doing a great job at mixing in some feints within your actual attacks but they just aren't believable, you either stop your feints attacks to far away or you throw stop your feint too late and it slightly throws off your rhythm." Hisoka explained while displaying what I was doing wrong

"Yeah, you should work on that but for now, let's get back to it." Hisoka said and threw a punch

I raised my guard, and his punch turned into him pointing and then that bungee gum ability came out and bungee gummed my right arm to the ropes

I tried to tear free, but couldn't, I had no doubt I could break free if I hold back less but I won't do that

"There is no way this gun could be this strong...." I said

Hisoka was laughing

"That's because I snuck a little bit of some bungee gum there while we were in the middle of the ring after I threw a spinning kick at you and then a little bit more while I was lying to you about your feint attacks." Hisoka explained and started quickly punching and kicking me

"Wait you were lying ?"I asked

"Of course, nothing is wrong with the way you fight at all, including your feints, I could just tell you're not very experienced so I took advantage of your uncertainty in yourself." Hisoka said calmly while punching me right on my temple

That set me off, I gnashed my teeth, felt the veins pop up on my neck and transformed

My eyes became blood red, my fangs grew bigger, and so did my claws

My transformation looked just like Inuyasha's when he would come close to death

I ripped from the ropes smacked Hisoka down and mauled him like a bear

Scenerio failed

I calmed down, placed my hands in my sides and then stared at the ceiling

"I can't believe I fell for that."

We fought again, this time I fought with more confidence

But he somehow bungee gummed my ankles together and won by decision

The third time we fought I didn't let him use his nen on me at all

He still won by decision but then something happened

Skill "Martial arts level 3" has evolved into "Mixed martial arts"

description: Protagonist is much now experienced and comfortable fighting different and difficult opponents, Combat will be much smoother for the protagonist

I remember when I got that skill to level 3, I could never improve it afterwards. I wonder if fighting different opponents was the requirement even though Hisoka is the only other person I have used martial arts on.

From then on the tides slowly changed

The fourth battle was almost perfectly even (despite the perverted look Hisoka kept giving me)

The fifth I won by decision and it was a hard battle

My mixed martial arts skill improved to level 2

Scenerio passed

reward: 2,000 Gacha points

Continue. retry. quit

'You know, if I just used my full strength and just blew through these, I wouldn't have gained any skills or really have the experience needed for the actual DXD world.'

With that in mind I chose to retry

Warning: no Gacha points will be rewarded for retrying this scenerio

'Doesn't matter.'

I fought Hisoka three more times and maxed out my "MMA" skill

Then something else interesting happened, while trying to focus more on hearing and smelling during my fights with Hisoka I unlocked a skill called sensual fighter

"Sensual fighter"

Description: Protagonist will now subconsciously use other senses while in combat, mostly hearing

While reading the description, I remember an anime called "Fairy tail" and within fairy tail, there was a character named Erik that hearing so good that he could hear his opponents thoughts, and when that failed, he could hear his opponents muscles, bones and other parts of the body and guess the attackers moves.

'Could I....Is it possible.....'

After an hour of fighting Hisoka over and over again focusing on leveling up this skill, the skill reached level 3 and maxed out.

As I progressed my new skill I started to overwhelm Hisoka more and more, I couldn't hear his thoughts, but I could definitely hear his bones and muscles when I tried. Hearing someone's insides are apparently something I have to focus on, but still even subconsciously this skill was a cheat because it was almost as if I had spider senses without the head buzzing.
