With an impulse, I immediately called Marilyn and told her that I wanted to see her.
After several missed calls, she sent me a message and asked me to meet her at a karaoke box near the campus.
I didn't think too much and hurried there.
As soon as I entered the box, I saw that Marilyn was sitting alone in the large sofa chair, watching the muted screen, with a cold face.
She had really changed into another person.
"Are you curious why I did that?" said Marilyn slowly, still staring at the screen.
"Are you thinking that you were so kind to me and you shared everything with me, but why should I return kindness with ingratitude?" Marilyn sneered.
"Chelsey, do you really think I'm your friend?
"You took me out to play when we were kids. You just wanted me, an ugly girl from the countryside, to set off your superiority.
"The small favors you gave me just kept reminding me that everything I had was given by you. I should be grateful to you.
