Romance Among Humans

Note: this book was originally - Navigating Romance as a werewolf among humans. This is an untraditional werewolf story. Cover art is not my own. Please let me know if I need to take it down. "In order to survive the changing world, we must learn to live among humans or risk starving." it wasn't the ideal situation, but the only option to stop the pack and most importantly, their pups from suffering due to a lack of food. "Humans are weird though. How can you get used to being around them and their confusing nature?" Apryl asked, looking out across the campus. "You get used to it after some time, plus it's not like we're the only ones who live among the humans." Keith replied, shrugging as he looked over the campus as well. This story follows Apryl Dark, eldest daughter of the Dark Mountain wolf pack as she and her family adjust to living among humans and the trials that face them. The book may start out slow, but there will be a mix of both romance and action as the story progresses. But There's No Cheese

As Keith helped her to figure out how to use the phone camera, Apryl learned more about humans that added to the level of confusion that she already had about them. Their lives really were far more complicated compared to those of werewolves who lived as wolves.

For one, thumbs were far more necessary in the life of a human than she would have liked. Wolves never had the need for such things as they most just relied upon their teeth or claws to help them out. In a similar fashion, humans seemed to need their thumbs to help them get certain tasks done. Apryl determined that without the opposable thumbs, humans would likely be doomed.

Thumbs were what helped the female werewolf to try and steady the phone properly after Keith had given her a few demonstrations on exactly how to use the thing. She was still rather confused by it all, but somehow managed to hold it steady so she could focus it to take a picture.
