click* click* I woke up to see John taking photos. " So did you guys do it?" He asked when he saw me open my eyes. I started blushing when I figured out what he meant. " No . no. Nothing like that. " I said.

" As you say " winks* . " No am serious nothing like that" I said. Kara woke up and took the opportunity to confirm that I was telling the truth. " Nothing happened ok" she said. John couldn't help but believe it. " Ok Lyon your welcome to eat with us I have already told my parents there was a sleepover. " John said. I thanked him.

( At the table)

" So Lyon what do your parents do?" John's father asked . " I was disowned" I muttered. " And why is that?" He asked. " Am sorry but I can't open that information on you" I said with a straight face. My eyes went cold remembering that so called dad. I heard John mom whispered " He really is incompetent,why are we tolerating him ?" . I just pretended I didn't hear that. " Do you have any guardians?" he asked . " Yes they will be coming to America by Monday" I said. " Oh and what do they do" he asked. " Most of them are doctors" I said. " ok good to know" he said as he smiled.

After eating, John asked me if I could join him for jogging. I agreed mainly because I wanted my agility increased. We jogged for about 2km and when we were done my agility rose to 13. I also developed resistance to tiredness, I guess there was more to it than the stats.

" Let's go back and have some water. " he said. We went back but there was some issues. " How could you say that he has no parents " John's father said. " A person like him deserves to be in the streets" John's mother said. " And who gets to decide that you ?" I shouted. " If had my life, you would go mad ?" I said. " Look at you talking to you elder like that your parents really are scum. " she said. I just went to John's room as he remained behind. " You know that wasn't very nice especially insulting his mother " John said. I heard Kara go downstairs. It was easy listening to them considering my heritage. " He had to witness the murder of his mother at a young age." John said. He really cared for me he was like a big brother. " Wait his mother died in front of him?" Kara asked. I didn't hear a response maybe because John might have nodded. " Not just a quick death . The murderer made Lyon watch every second of it as he tortured his mother. The murderer beat even cut her fingers in front of him. So if you think you can just judge someone by the cover , read the book." John said.

" Am sorry you had to witness that " Kara said. " it's ok " I said. " So why does the sun affect you?" she asked " I mean your a vampire right?" I wasn't shocked actually. There were many books and movies about vampires so it was pretty obvious. " I don't know honestly if I were to say then I would take a guess no " I said. She asked why. " Mother used to play with me outside but she was also a hybrid so I can't say. " I said. " Hybrid wait your something else?" She asked. " Elf" I said. She actually had stars in her eyes. " Then why are your siblings not like you" she asked. " There from different mothers . The main reason why my sister and I are considered twins is because we were born almost at the Same time. " She thought. Maybe it was hard for to dig in. I could see her eyes were filled with sadness towards me. " And blood?" she asked. " Honestly you're the first I've ever craved for" I said. She smiled maybe she saw she achieved something. " You know I could always give you some if you like" she said out of the blue. " Thanks" .

" Dude can I use your room a little" I asked John and he agreed. I went to his room and started doing some pushups. After getting tired I checked my status
