Sudden change of events II

A/N : In the previous chapter, I made a mistake, calling Almighty Push, Universal Push.

Turning towards Kenshin, even Satoru couldn't help but feel a sense of foreboding in his heart, seeing the bloodied Rinnegan and the unnaturally fierce waves of cursed energy that undulated off his body.

"Utahime, Ieiri. Get Nanami and Makoto and get out of here..now!!!"

Satoru ordered before he took a step back while the two ladies grabbed the bodies of the two bloodied youths.

With a sudden outburst of energy, Kenshin's eyes suddenly snapped open before he grabbed his left eye in pain.

"Divine Annihilation Technique: Almighty Push!!"

*BOOOMM!*

Roaring out in anger, a massive amount of cursed energy burst out from his body, and right in that moment, as if the wrath of a deity had descended, a massive wave of destructive gravitational force swept out, nearly erasing everything that it came into contact with, accompanied by a massive shockwave.

"Go now!!"

In the face of the attack, Satoru roared and crossed his fingers, circulating his infinity to the full potential, creating a large enough barrier to shield nearly all of Jujutsu High's buildings from the onslaught.

"I never thought I'd get to see this attack once again. Oh well, it would be wrong of me to not retaliate with a trick of my own."

Kenzo simply smiled and positioned his arms in a slingshot position.

"Cursed Technique: Nether Pierce!!"

As he spoke, an extremely dark and eerie cursed energy burst out of his body, as a long and dark tinted javelin formed above his body.

"Go!!"

Squinting his eyes and identifying his target, he smiled and released his arms, launching the dark shadowy spear at near sonic speed.

*SWOOSH!*

Piercing through the incoming the force of destruction like a hot knife through butter, it instantly ripped through the void before suddenly piercing through the body of an unsuspecting Kenshin who was recovering from whatever technique he had just launched.

*BANG!*

His body was hurled flying through the sky like a meteor while puking blood and Kenzo who was about to be swallowed by the destructive force took out a small talisman from his robes and crushed it, disappearing from sight instantly.

"Kenshin!!!"

As the dust settled, Satoru wiped the blood that flowed from his nose and stopped the infinity, as he turned around with the others only for them to see Kenshin's figure lying in a pool of blood.

His entire torso was nearly destroyed, his eyes, nose and mouth bleeding and an unnaturally dark aura seemed to permeate his body while his pupils remained dilated and his body unmoving.

Ieiri was the first to rush to him, with tears in her eyes, as she examined his pulse hurriedly.

"His...his pulse is extremely weak. We have to get him to Ayumu.."

Ieiri cried out, while channeling large amounts of positive energy into Kenshin's body, trying to at least sustain his pulse before they got to Ayumu.

Nightfall.

The glowing moonlight was overshadowed by the dark rain clouds, and cold winds blew, creating a harmonious symphony along with the croaking of frogs.

Toji sat within his room with his legs crossed, and deeply furrowed brows, while his cheek rested on his fist.

Suddenly, a figure walked up from behind him and slowly embraced him, and in that moment, his expression calmed and he kissed the arms of the woman behind him.

"What's wrong honey. You've been lost in though the whole day..."

His wife walked up to him and sat on his laps before she caressed his face and asked.

"I think we should move out of this place. I've made enough for us to be able to purchase a beautiful house in maybe Malaysia or even Brazil. We can start over anew and live our lives the at we want, and watch Mina grow just like we planned."

Toji caressed her cheek and and then pegged her, as she melted in his embrace.

"Dada"

As they talked a little girl walked up from behind and jumped into his arms, as a small smile formed on his face.

Caressing the cute face of the girl in his arms his heart was filled with warmth, and a sense of nostalgia overcame him as he remembered his son.

He couldn't help but sigh in regret as he thought about his son. Ever since his first wife had died, he had refused to see their child and rather went off to live a life of his own.

'I'm probably the shittiest father in the entire universe..'

He poured and rubbed his head.

*DING!* *DONG!*

As he played with his daughter, the doorbell suddenly rang twice, and an eerie silence overshadowed the previous joyous atmosphere.

"Should I go get it?"

His wife was about to go up to the door when he stopped her abruptly, feeling the foreboding danger in his heart grow even stronger.

"I'll get it. It's probably a friend. Why don't you take Mina to bed, I don't want her to be late for school tomorrow.." He kissed her and pegged the little girl on the cheek before his eyes turned sharp as he walked to the door.

"Oi. Long time no see..."

Seeing the familiar figure standing at the door with the same evil smile that haunted him even in dreams, Toji's heart shuddered for a moment, as the mysterious figure slowly walked into the house with a man evil smile.

"What? You're not going to say hi to your old friend? That's rude."

The man spoke, as Toji clenched his fist and took in deep breath with his eyes closed.

"What do you want Kenzo?" He asked without turning around. If he was here at this time, then it probably meant Kenshin and the others had probably failed to eliminate him.

'I was right after all. Jujutsu sorcerers cannot be trusted...'

Toji sighed before he rubbed his abdomen and spat out a small round cursed spirit onto his palm.

"You see, Toji, I was planning on fulfilling my end of the bargain. I was going to let you go, until you ratted me out to those Jujutsu sorcerers. Fortunately for you, Instill have some use for you, otherwise, we wouldn't be talking right now. But as you know, I'm not a forgiving person, and you'll have to pay a price for double crossing me one way or the other!"

Kenzo summoned a tendril of cursed energy onto his palm and instantly rushed towards Toji in a burst of speed.

Toji on the other hand simply grabbed onto the Soul Splitting katana, and the Inverted Spear of Heaven, before he clashed head on with his nemesis.
