Dragons bane
Winchester was royally pissed his plan. His perfect plan that he created after 3 months of solid planning was destroyed by a kid that only last month got his dragon mark. He's only happy that the plan wasn't a total loss as he was able to have the last 4 wings to use it with the loss of those wings the dragon empire will not be able to hold this city as such the plan should still work out in the end. However, Winchester now decided he should find a way to get rid of Reed, at least, with that things should even out.
Princess Aiolta was confused. This dragons bane seems to be a dangerous topic to these people so dangerous that they would outright kill anyone that tries to use it or have others use it, and this new herb has a death sentence on it is just confusing her more she thinks it's time to have a chat with an expert on the matter as such she calls to her servants and tells them she will be calling on master Reed.
Reed was at home resting after the meeting he believes that though it wasn't perfect, at least he got the information out there his uncles reaction was typical as the man hates his brothers family his father went above and beyond what he thought he would get as the man had always been calm, cool and collected all his life. As Reed was going over the meeting in his head, Teresa walked in and told him he had guests. Reed knows one is Crystal as he asked her to come by to talk about magic runes, but he had another guest. Well, he will find out who it is by meeting them, so he follows Teresa to the living room and finds Crystal waiting as well as his other guest princess Aiolta. Reed greets both and takes a seat. However, both seemed disinclined to start, so he decided to start with Crystal. "Crystal about magic runes, isn't it possible to put them on the city walls, or is there a problem with it." Crystal looked like she was about to answer, but Princess Aiolta beat her to it. "Magic runes can't be put on the city walls because the monster blood that acts as a medium is very unstable it requires special rune paper to keep it stable as such if you try and force it 1 of 2 things will happen ither it will explode or it will just drain all the magic power in a few seconds." As that is the same thing Crystal was going to say, she kept quiet but lifted a brow as to say." This is common knowledge. Didn't you listen to your teacher in school." Reed, however, pushed his thought forward. "What about dragons blood." Crystal stopped and looked at him with a stunned look. However, she mumbled it, won't work, will it?
Crystal, however, was a master rune warrior, so she knows best what would work and what won't, and she knew dragon blood was very stable. However that no one thought of using dragons' blood for wall reinforcement confused Crystal, but then she started thinking of other useful ideas like weapon or armor reinforcement with dragons blood. The usefulness is endless. Crystal quickly thanks Reed and starts running out the door. Reed gives a weak smile and remembers his other guest, but her eyes are shining. She saw and heard everything, and if dragons' blood can do what monster blood can't, then there will be a very good reason to have a great relationship with this race. As she is thinking of how to go about increasing the Ezails relationship with the dragon empire, "ahem." she regains herself after Reed attempted to gain her attention. "And what can I do for you, princess?"
After she heard that, she quickly asked, "Why is dragons bane a touchy subject with your people?" Reed realizes that no one gave any information on the subject as the subject was widespread back home, so he decided to educate her."Dragons bane attacks a person's cultivation first then when the person has lost that it will attack a person's life force and how long a person will live depends on their cultivation and how much dragons bane they have consumed also there is no known cure as soon as someone is diagnosed with it they are considered already dead."
The princess looks at Reed as if he just announced a death curse, and he kinda did. Aiolta knew there was something big about it but didn't realize it would be that bad. After that, Aiolta said goodbye and left. Reed went back to his workroom and got started on creating more potions with the herbs from this world he can make more powerful potions.
The next three days were quiet, but on the fourth day, the Wings that Reeds Father and Crystal commanded were about to leave to attack the monsters nests. Reed walked up to his father and said."General Getlset, I'd like to offer my services as an alchemist for this mission." Reeds' father gave him a penetrating gaze but soon called out to Crystal and said she could take Reed as her alchemist on this mission. Crystal looked over and gave Reed a small smile and waved him over."You will ride with me, so stay on Lancelot so he can protect you." Reed got on Lancelot and sat behind Crystal. Then Crystal gave the signal, and they were off into the wild to hunt monsters on their turf.
One of Winchesters people left his workroom it was so nice of the brat to give him such a nice chance to kill him like this, Winchester thought as he took a small sack out of his inventory and then he left to have a chat with Baron Getlset while he walked he imagined the scene that would play out in the wilds.

Hay everyone, sorry about the delay. I usually write when at work and on my way home, but work and home have been hectic the last week or so, so I have bin taking a nap rather than writing. Also, I would like to thank DGBlaze for our first power stone and hope that this book is good for everyone.
