The Golden Jumbo Crocodile

The three-eyed lady was momentarily silent before she spoke, "This is one of the most prominent creations of this civilization. You will feel it upon closing your eyes."

Closing your eyes? Lin Chao shut his eyes obediently.

Wham!

A jolt came to him in the form of a push on his chest, he took a few steps back involuntarily. When Lin Chao hastily opened his eyes, what laid before his eyes was… the wall of the alley.

He was pushed out of the ruins!

Lin Chao huffed. What sort of ruins intelligence was that? It was abominable!

"Lil Chao?" Lin Shiyu who was waiting outside went forward quickly in concern when she saw Lin Chao's tattered clothes. "You're not injured, are you?"

"I'm fine. It's only my clothes that's ripped." Lin Chao smiled to appease her.

"Good." Lin Shiyu believed his words when she saw that there was no wound on his back.

Fan Xiangyu chuckled with a palm over her mouth. "It's rare to see you so ragged. Don't tell me you were kicked out?"

Lin Chao pulled a long face and glared at her. He was rather frustrated himself. The ruins intelligence was contemptible; it had already given him the reward items but it refused to give him the manual. Did that Zeus from his past life figure the Evolution Tree out himself when he got it?

Contemplating upon it, Lin Chao gave up entering again. To threaten the lady like that, he expected she would probably push him out again once he entered.

'Oh well, I'll just figure it out myself. I got the item anyway, I'll understand how to use it somehow.' Lin Chao turned around and said, "Let's go. I need to go do something. Wait for me somewhere near."

"Are you going hunting?" Lin Shiyu could not help pulling the corner of his shirt when she heard that he was leaving. "I'm an Evolved too now. Take me along!"

Lin Chao stroked her head upon witnessing her reluctance to part. "Be good, I'll be back very soon."

Slapping his hand away, Lin Shiyu said with a frown, "Don't touch my head, it's like you're the big bro. Why are you not bringing me? Is it very dangerous?"

"To you girls it is, but it's nothing to me. Don't worry, I'll come back safely for sure," said Lin Chao with a smile.

"That's true… okay then, pinky promise you'll come back safe!" Lin Shiyu stuck out her little finger and looked at Lin Chao seriously.

Grinning with amusement, Lin Chao sealed the pinky promise with her and told Fan Xiangyu, "Take good care of my sister and the shrub too."

"Alright." Fan Xiangyu agreed to it dully. She could perceive that the devil seemed to have gotten some incredible treasure and her hope to overthrow him withered a little once more.

Lin Chao waved at the Golden Hound, the latter frolicked over instantly.

After he sent Lin Shiyu somewhere safe, Lin Chao set out straight to the objective with the Golden Hound, arriving at the Long Hai Zoo not too long later.

The walkway entrance was a mess. There were pools of dried blood, plenty of mutated beast carcasses, and a disorder of monster footprints all over the floor. It was apparent that the battle between the two giants previously had scared off the other mutated beasts here.

Lin Chao's target this time was the two jumbos!

Hwa!

The birth of his thought triggered the Modified Dragon Wings within him as a pair of raven wings stretched from his back. The sharp feathers were rock hard like blackened steel, reflecting a cool sheen under the sunlight.

The Golden Hound was frightened, about to flee for its life. From what it knew, mankind could never have grown something like that. It also cautiously sniffed a sense of terror on the pair of wings; oppression that was felt deep in its soul which it had not felt even from the two giants.

Glimpsing at it, Lin Chao told it. "Wait for me here."

The Golden Hound nodded carefully in shudders.

Fluu!

The Modified Dragon Wings on Lin Chao's back flapped lightly and instantly made a gale. He flew into the sky, overlooking the whole zoo, locating the various animal zones and first flying to the nearest lion's zone.

Looking around, the fields and forests in the entire area did not house a single lion monster. Lin Chao made his way to the location the jumbos fought last time and a large pool of browned blood as well as a massive carcass that was devoured that only bones greeted his sight.

The skeletal structure definitely did not look like a crocodile!

Lin Chao was rather shocked. He did not expect one of the jumbos to have died in the end, and the one to have died to be the Golden Lion with the Golden Blood!

He flew a little higher and headed to the crocodile island region.

From the top, he could see that the metal fence around the crocodile island was rammed down. Mutated crocodiles lay packed against each other on the lawn as they lazily bathed under the sun. A minority of them looked like they were going to find food as they slowly crawled outside the fence.

In the small turbid swamp-like lake in the center of the crocodile island, a faint golden passage that went across the entire lake could vaguely be seen. It looked like a footpath that the zoo paved for the visitors.

Hold on!

Lin Chao was dumbfounded. The small lake did not seem to have the footpath when he came the last time. Even if it did, the path would have been destroyed after the jumbo crocodile came out! Then the faint golden passage in front of him was…

Roar!

Before he could scrutinize further, within the swamp-like lake of the crocodile island an enormous dome-shaped water curtain pushed out of the. As the water curtain broke, a colossal mouth with pointy teeth came biting toward Lin Chao!

Lin Chao's reflexes were fast. His wings slightly fluttered, picking up to its maximum speed in less than zero point one second, and that had brought him nearly a hundred meters higher into the sky, escaping the snapping jaws!

As the mouth dropped, a huge wave engulfed the lake. A terrifying silhouette, as if of a prehistoric creature, slowly showed itself from the lake. It was the jumbo crocodile!

Contrasting from their last encounter, it was bigger in size now, towering to about fifteen meters in height. It had copious golden spots on it too; mixed with its initial black crocodile skin, it had become a rich burnt golden color.

Lin Chao squinted. He did not expect the jumbo crocodile to inherit the Golden Lion's Golden Blood after eating it. There was a high chance that it would transform into an actual Golden Jumbo Crocodile before long!

Roar!

The jumbo croc bellowed at Lin Chao, its roar thundering, which slightly numb his ears. If it had been in his previous five times physique, he would have fainted instantly from the short-distanced roar. He only felt a light stinging to his ears now.

The failure of its ambush made the jumbo reptile incredibly furious. Whipping its tail down at the lake water like a king python, tidal waves flooded over the mutated crocodiles which lay on the surface.

Lin Chao smirked and retrieved the Black Hole Bomb from the alternate dimension space.

There were three ways to trigger the explosion of this bomb. First was a collision that reached a certain weight, the second was a certain degree of high temperature, and the third was clashing it against something called the Magnetic Pole Stone.

'According to the current unit of weight, a collision force of one ton will erupt it!' Lin Chao gripped the Black Hole Bomb, the veins on his arm slowly bulging as his blood flowed rapidly. His entire arm grew larger.

Swoosh!

A dedicated toss! – The Black Hole Bomb dove straight at the jumbo crocodile's head like a black meteor.

The jumbo crocodile growled angrily and ignored the Black Hole Bomb. In its eyes, it was only the provocation of a tiny creature.
