We Were Just Playing

When Reed and Aily arrived at the table filled with food, he was greeted with a beautiful smell that would make the mouth water. There was steak, lobster, fish, cake, you name it, they had it. Reed had never seen such a selection once in both of his life. After picking their food, they then went to sit at a empty table in the corner of the room where no none was around .

On Reed's plate was slice of steak while Aily had a slice of chocolate cake. They then began to eat silently, enjoying their meal.

Not faraway from Reed and Aily was a group of kids that were the same age as them. One of the kids stood out among the rest of them. He was wearing a gold colored tux. The only way you couldn't notice the kid is that if you were you blind.

The kid was Daniel Vice, the second son of Joshua Vice. Right now he was surrounded by kids of other family lowers than his trying to become friends with him under the order of their family. It wasn't wrong of the family to order them so, since if they were able to gain the friendship of one of the great families. They would have a bright future due to having such a powerful backer.

Daniel knew this and couldn't help but feel disgusted to see so many people under him trying to garner his attention and friendship. All these are kids from lower level families, as the second son of the Vice Family he thought himself as superior among them and that they don't have the right to become his friend.

Sadly he couldn't act the way he actually felt since it would affect his family's reputation, so he acted friendly to the other kids with a smile on his face. The kids around him were trying there best to flatter him starting from how handsome he looked to the point of actually willing to become his servant.

As he was listening and smiling to every person that was trying to lick his boot, he then saw a two other kids in the corner of the room. One was a decently looking boy wearing a normal looking tux and a girl wearing a blue dress. The moment he Daniel saw the girl his heartbeat started to increase.

He immediately started walking over to them and ignored all the kids who were speaking to them. The kids were all surprised at Daniel's action and looked to see where he was going and noticed that Daniel was walking towards the boy and girl sitting at a table in the corner of the room.

"Hey you there, what your name?" The moment Daniel walked up to the two eating at the table, he immediately called out to Aily. Reed and Aily became disturb the moment they heard a voice call out to them and then turned look at Daniel who called out to them.

Aily couldn't help but feel a little disgusted and scared seeing the look Daniel was giving her and started inching the chair she was sitting on closer to Reed. Reed couldn't but feel annoyed since Daniel disturbed him while he was eating his steak but now he was mad seeing Daniel's licentious look.

"What do you want?" Reed asked Daniel with an unpleasant tone. Daniel frowned upon hearing the way Reed was talking to him. He who was the young master of the Vice Family was always flattered by those around him and spoken to with respect was now experiencing someone talking to him disrespect. He couldn't help but hate Reed immediately and responded back in anger

"What right do you, a low level person in society have to talk to I, Daniel Vice, young master of the Vice Family? If you don't kneel down to me and lick my shoes to apologize right now or I will destroy your family and make that girl my servant."

Daniel was arrogant and was being overbearing. Being threatened by Daniel, Reed was instantly fuming with rage, what he hated most was being threatened ever since what happened with Amber in his past life and he was especially mad hearing that he wanted Aily to become his servant and to destroy his family.

Even though it was impossible for Daniel to destroy the Aniston Family and Reed knew that. He was still angry as it was his first family he ever had and so he was really over protecting the Aniston Family.

He wanted to run at him right at this moment and tear him into shreds. But even though he was fuming with anger and wanting to tear Daniel into shreds he then started to act scared.

"I'm so sorry young master, I didn't know you came from such a great family. please don't harm me and my family. I'll listen to you and forever become your servant." Reed said to Daniel as he was shivering in his boot.

Seeing how pathetic Reed was acting, Daniel couldn't help but laugh at him being so pathetic. But sadly he didn't even know what was going to happen next.

"Good, since you know that massive gap between our families then come over and kneel down to me and lick my shoes," Daniel commanded Reed. Reed stood up from his seat and started walking slowly towards Daniel while he was shivering.

Aily who was sitting in the seat next Reed was really confused on why Reed was acting like how he is right now but kept quiet. She knew Reed wasn't actually scared since he wasn't scared when they ambushed the assassins the other day or when Reed watched the assassins get shot and died right in front of him. She even learned a bit of the great families and knew that the Anistons was one of the great family and was the strongest one out of the four.

So even though Reed was from a superior family, why did he act so scared? Reed was now standing before Daniel, still appearing scared of him.

"Go ahead, kneel down and and lick my shoes. If you do, I'll forgive you for being so arrogant." Daniel said to Reed. Reed didn't start kneeling but then looked at Daniel with flames in his eyes.

"What are you looki-" Daniel tried to speak but was soon interrupted by a fist punching his gut causing him to fly back a foot and slamming his back onto the ground. holding his gut with his right hand as if it would reduce the pain, he then looked up at Reed with and angry face.

The main reason Reed acted all scared was just for this moment. He really wanted to kill Daniel but he knew that if he did, it would cause the destruction to the Aniston Family. So he leveled his strength to do just acceptable damage.

"Beat him up! Break his bones for me! If you do, I'll owe you a favor" Daniel yelled at the other kids to attack Reed. Wasn't this what their parents asked them to do? Didn't they ask them to gain a favor from the vice family? Seeing that they had a chance to gain a favor the kids all rushed up to beat up Reed.

Reed couldn't help but laugh to himself "You think ten kids with one being at bronze grade 3 it enough to beat me, what a joke." Even though the kids attacked as if they were a small mob, they all new basic martial arts as it was an essential thing to learn in life at their age. But sadly the person they were fighting was stronger than all of them and had true battle experience.

The kids threw themselves at Reed one by one, with no team work involved and were all subdued instantly by a single punch to the chest. All ten kids in front of Reed were now curling in pain on floor, not having the strength to get back up.

Seeing that all the kids were beaten up by Reed, Daniel was now looking up Reed and started begging for forgiveness. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have told you to knell down, I'll give you money, I'll give you anything you want, so please don't hurt me."

Reed couldn't help but scoff at what Daniel was saying. Give him money? Do anything he wants? Reed wouldn't someone so depraved and stupid to do his bidding. Reed walked over to Daniel and said "you'll owe me one favor and you'll know when to use it since it would be soon."

"Yes, a favor, of course, I Daniel Vice will owe you a favor. So now will you forgive me?" Reed asked with a pleading look in his eyes. He didn't want to endure anymore pain, but sadly it seems his wish won't come true

"Of course I forgive, but only after I give you your punishment." After Reed spoke, he then started punching repeatedly at Daniels face. Every punch caused massive pain to Daniel which caused him to cry in pain. The punishment which lasted for ten seconds lasted for a century for Daniel.

Daniel now looked like a puffed up panda with one eye black and the other normal.

"What is going on?!" A yell could be heard not that faraway from Reed and Daniel. The man who yelled was Joshua. The commotion caught to the attention of many people around and they immediately told Joshua of it.

Joshua, hearing the news about a group of boys getting into, he instantly new his son was among them and immediately left what he was doing and hurried to where the fight was. But sadly he made it when all was finished as he saw all ten boy writhing in pain and his son all beaten up with a panda looking face.

"What are you doing?" Joshua asked Reed.

Reed then replied innocently and with a smile

"We were just playing."
