Chapter 41

The girl shadow smiled and congratulated him for completing the trail before vanishing. He placed his Crystal card and received the Gemini Skill. He also stored the mirror beast for Yi Nan. He then rested there and healed his wounds. He gained valuable battling experience from this battle and also understood his flaws.

He went to the teleportation circle. When he came out of the teleportation he saw that there were more guards there but he didn't care as he began walking back to the inn.

The guards kept looking at him until he disappeared from their sight. One of them then turned toward their Captain and asked, "Sir, do you think that he passed? He was there for an hour and he even returned without any scratch on him or his beast. I think he might have passed it at least one of the trials."

When he said that the other guards turned toward their Captain waiting for a reply from him. After all, only he could enter and saw if the man who had just left had passed one of the trials or not.

The Captain didn't say anything but he turned toward a little room behind him. He then walked toward it and entered. He only left the room after a while with the face of someone who had just seen a ghost.

The guards who were too keen on knowing the answer didn't notice how grave his face was and began to bombard him with many questions.

The Captain who finally regained some color on his face took out an object from his spatial ring.

When the object was taken out it began emitting a blinding light.

When the blinding light ended the guards with dazed and unfocused eyes went to their own positions as nothing has happened. As for the Captain, there wasn't any trace of him. It was like he never came here in the first place.

Yue Yang on the other hand finally arrived at the inn.

Before they could enter the inn the city guard that invited him last time approached them. He bowed at him before he said, "Good Morning Sir. Like you have already guessed I am here on behalf of Ms. Luo Hua. She invited you to dinner this evening to thank you."

The guard wanted to continue but Yue Yang stopped him then said, "Let me guess, I can't decline, right?"

Hearing what Yue Yang said the guard lightly smiled and nodded his head. "Yes, Sir. She said you can't absolutely decline no matter what you have to do."

"Sigh, what type of invite is this? You can't even decline it. And what does she wants to thank me about anyway?" Said, Yue Yang to himself. He then looked at the guard and said, "Alright. I'll be there in the evening."

The guard nodded his head in acknowledgment before he went away.

When he entered the room, He saw Yue Bing sitting there. Seeing Yue Yang and Red returned, she began asking questions about where they went.

Red immediately began telling her that they went to challenge one of the trials.

Hearing that Yue Bing angrily looked at Yue Yang and said, "What? You took Red in such a dangerous place?"

"Hey! I was there too okay? It seems like you aren't worried about me." Said Yue Yang faking sadness in his voice.

When Yue Bing heard him she didn't know what to say as they began trying to explain themselves.

Seeing her troubled faces Yue Yang began to laugh. "Hahaha, I am just joking. I know that you are worried about me too. Anyway, do you think that I will bring Red or you to a dangerous place? You are too important to me."

After hearing what he said Yue Bing heaved a sigh of relief.

After wearing his clothes Yue Yang was finally ready to go to dinner with Luo Hua.

He didn't wear any fancy clothes, but he still didn't want to go to dinner with a girl in ordinary ones so he let the girls chose clothes for him before they left.

Since the restaurant was on the fourth floor he had to go to the teleportation circle.

When he arrived on the floor although he could feel how stronger the gravity here was than the other lower floors but it took him only a few seconds before he adapted to it.

After leaving the teleportation circle he saw the guard who invented him some steps away. It seemed like he was there waiting for him.

When he approached him, the guard bowed before saying, "Good evening Sir. I am here to take you to the restaurant."

Yue Yang nodded and he began following him. It didn't take long to arrive at the restaurant even though they were walking.

When he saw the restaurant Yue Yang couldn't but feel amazed at how beautiful it was. It didn't even look like a restaurant, but a shining castle built with all the expensive and beautiful materials. If this was a restaurant on earth, only the billionaires could enter in something like that.

When they arrived at the entrance the guard stopped and made him the gesture to continue walking.

When he was a meter or so near the door, it opened and there was a row of waiters and waitresses bowing at him and greeted him simultaneously.

One of the waitresses came to him, greeted him, and lead him to a room. After arriving at the room like the guard at the entrance the waitress too stopped and let him enter by himself.

When he entered the room he could see Luo Hua sitting there smiling while she was looking at him. He went toward the table and sat opposite to her trying to look as calm as he could.

He then looked at her and said teasingly, "I never thought you'll plan a dinner date. I know you're a straightforward person but never imagine that the first date is planned by you."

She blushed and said, "Don't misunderstand, this is not a date. I just want to thank you for helping me with flower seeds."

Yue Yang, who saw how her cheeks reddened smiled and said, "Really? You planned a candlelight dinner in a fancy restaurant just to thank me."

Her face reddened even more. Yue Yang smiled and said trying to change the subject of the conversation, "So what do you advice me to eat first?"

Luo Hua whose face had finally returned normal smiled hearing his words.

She took the menu from his hand and pointed at a dish and said, "Try this one. From what I heard it's the most delicious they serve here."

"From what you heard? You haven't tried it yet?" Asked Yue Yang curiously.

Luo Hua smiled wryly and said, "It's my first time here so I haven't tasted anything yet."

"Ah. It seems it is the first time for both of us." Hearing that Luo Hua was stunned for a while before she looked at him trying to understand if he said it intentionally or not.

Yue Yang, on the other hand, kept a calm face while he was laughing hard in his mind looking at her face.

He then said, "Since we are both here for the first time why don't we order all their specialty and then decide what is best by ourselves?"

Luo Hua nodded and called the waitress and told her to bring them all their specialty.
