Chapter 1A little Change

A boy sits at his computer at night. His room only illuminated by the computer screen. With a controlled in hand, he is fixated on the screen. Headphones used to block out all outside interferences. His room littered with chip packets and bottles showing he was probably hear all day.

The boy had reached the finals of the regional pokemon online competitive tournament. He was facing off against the defending champion. The battle started.

The champion seemed to have a leg up on the boy as he was dominating the beginning off the battle. One by one the boy's pokemon fell but he had a plan. He was sneakily setting up with a pokemon. He then used his plus 4 special attack greninja to start sweeping. But as the boy thought he won, his greninja fell to a Blizzard from an opposing Blastoise.

"Fuck!" The boy shouted as he logged out and jumped on his bed. He then picked up his phone and checked the time.

"23:30 already! I have a match tomorrow!" He quickly fell asleep.

Next day the boy walked out of his house at around 4:30 in the morning. He was still tired as the school bus came to fetch him. He was still very tired and walked slowly to the bus.

"Come on Mack! Stop being a sloth and walk faster!!"

"Sure! Sure! Lay off will ya." Mack jogged to the bus.

Mack plays basketball for his high school and his one of the best players. But he doesn't really love playing basketball, if it was up to him all he would do is play video games. He is really good at Pokemon. He owns all the games and plays them whenever he has free time.

The game went well and they won. On the way home Mack fell asleep on the bus. He was woken up by his friend Tyler who told him this was his stop. He got off and proceeded to cross the road as out of no where a speeding sports car collided with Mack. For Mack one moment he was walking then suddenly everything went black.

He opened his eyes to a man standing infront of him. He saw the man had a white lab coat and he instantly recognized the man. He was surprised and shook as he saw Professor Sycamore, a fictional character in front of him.

"Welcome to the world of Pokémon. I am Professor Sycamore...."

Sycamore kept talking as Mack started spiraling.

"Am I dead?! Is this real! Am I actually I Pokémon! You can't be serious! This is....this is...AWESOME!!"

Mack was interrupted by Sycamore asking him.

"Well now tell me about yourself." As soon as Sycamore stopped talking options appeared before Mack. His first option was gender.

"Wait I could be a girl.....nah it will be weird since I'm actually in Pokémon."

The second option was appearance. Mack went with the lighter dark shade of skin with brown hair and Hazel eyes. After he finished he entered his name "Mack".

"Goodluck in your journey." Sycamore said as everything lit up.

Mack woke up in a bed with a Fletchling flying above him. He jumped with excitement. He looked in the mirror and saw he was the avatar he created.

"Mental." He said to himself as he changed out of the pajamas he was wearing. He dressed in a blue jacket, black pants, red cap and red sneakers. He also sported a black small bag. He walked out of his room and looked around the house.

The house was filled with an amazing aroma. He followed the smell to the kitchen.

"Mack...your finally up honey." Said a women in the kitchen.

"Hey." Mack answered not to sure who she was. She had long brown hair and she had a curvy body with caramel skin. She turned to him and smiled.

"Breakfast is ready. Hope you like eggs and bacon."

"Thanks."

"Thanks who?" She said while looking at him. Mack simply gave her a puzzled look as he visibly got annoyed.

"Thanks Venessa. Damn your manners are horrible...don't they teach you guys anything in Kanto."

"Sorry." Mack said as he giggled nervously.

The two started eating as Venessa told Mack about his mother's letters and about how his dad went missing 2 months ago. He also told him a girl next door was looking for him. Mack got up after he ate and walked towards the door as a notification popped up on upper left area of his vision area. He tapped it and it read.

'Side Quest 1:Finding Father.'

"Seems I have to find my father."

Mack then walked out and saw the beautiful town. He walked out of his yard as he heard someone.

"MACK!" He turned to see a girl in a pink shirt, with brown hair.

"Hey there." He answered as he realized it's Shauna from the Games.

"My name is Shauna. I'm Serena's friend."

"Mack." The two shook hands and started walking to Aquacorde Town.

"So Mack where you from?"

"Kanto."

"Kanto huh."

"Yea..."

"You wanna be a trainer?"

"Yea I guess. How about you?"

"I wanna become a performer. And one day I'll become the kalos Queen. The best performer in Kalos."

"That's one hell of a goal."

"Don't you have a dream?"

"Not really coz to me this is already a dream come true. Becoming a trainer....I can barley contain myself."

Shauna saw Mack staking a bit. She then realized how much excitement he was holding back. She smiled and gave him a pat on the back.

They reached Aquacorde Town and saw Serena sitting with Tierno and Trevor. The two sat beside them as Shauna introduced Mack.

"Guys this is Mack. And Mack this is Serena, Tierno and Trevor."

"Hey guys." Mack said.

"Yo." Tierno answered.

"Hello." Trevor said nervously.

"Hi." Serena said with a warm smile. The moment Serena smiled Mack was mesmerized by her beauty and he went blank.

"So guys Professor gave me us these three Pokémon so Me, Shauna and Mack can choose starter pokémon."
"Mack should choose first." Shauna said.
"Okay."

Serena released three pokemon from the pokeballs. The three were a blue frog Froakie, a yellow fox Fenneken and a green hedgehog looking pokemon Chespin. Mack saw Froakie and felt an instant connection.
"Froakie. I choose you."

Time Effect ( A Mass Effect Fanfiction)

A man is reincarnated in the Mass Effect Universe. At first, he was kinda scared about the possibility of dying to the Reapers, or other dangers across the huge galaxy. But, he persevered and, after making friends with Shepard and the crew, won the final battle. He was happy and thrilled about the possibilities of his new life after the war. But, on the day he turned 28 years old, he returned back in time, to when he was a baby. He was confused and mortified by the weird situation, but, our MC didn't let that shake his confidence. So, he tackled the plot of the game once more. But, again, after he turned 28, he returned in time. He finally had to admit to himself he was trapped in some sort of time loop but decided to continue ahead with his life(s). The problem was, this didn't happen just once. 2 times, 3 times, 4 times, 5 times... 9 times. It slowly changed him, to the point he lost the will to try after a few cycles. He realized what he was doing was meaningless, because no matter what he did, the changes he made, nothing mattered, as he would be thrown back in time anyway. So, he deviated from the plot and started to study a variety of things and he didn't care about the fate of the galaxy anymore. In those subsequent loops, he managed to become a master/expert in a lot of things, but the time loop never changed, and the MC started to lose hope of living a normal life. But, after the 9 loop, he felt something different from the other cycles! Perhaps this is his final one? Follow along and watch our MC conquer the whole galaxy, fighting the dangers inside it, and possibly getting a few girls along the way! --- Release schedule: 3 chapters a week (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday), as long as I have enough chapters in stock. Otherwise, 2 chapters per week (Wednesday and Saturday) Minimum of 1,500 words per chapter --- I do not own any of the characters I found the Image on the internet Also posted on RR and SH --- This is a fanfic written by a newbie, so there will be various grammar errors scattered across it. So please, bear with me!

The Synthesis Wizard

In a world where elements lay barren and powerful wizards had abandoned their homeland a millennium ago to explore the multiverse, Sunan found himself reincarnated as a noble scion stripped of his title. This world, once brimming with magic and wonder, had fallen into a desolate state, and wizards had become mere legends. Sunan was acutely aware that after a thousand years, the elements would awaken once more, heralding the return of the wizards and ushering in a new era of prosperity. He understood that his path was clear: he must train diligently to become a wizard himself and survive until this glorious age arrived. “Resources are scarce?” he mused, determination flickering in his eyes. “Then I’ll just have to synthesize them myself.” With that thought, he activated the Synthesis Cube, a device that granted him the ability to combine materials into something new. This Cube was not just a tool; it was a symbol of his potential in this world, reflecting his status as a player in a game he once played. As he set to work, the Cube glowed with possibilities, presenting him with a myriad of options. He had a few basic materials at his disposal, remnants of his previous life and the knowledge he had accumulated from his past experiences in the game. Sunan began experimenting, combining herbs and minerals he had gathered. Each successful synthesis filled him with a sense of accomplishment, inching him closer to his goal of becoming a wizard. Days turned into weeks, and Sunan’s skills improved rapidly. He crafted potions, improved his understanding of magical theories, and honed his mental abilities through intense meditation practices. The Star Ring Meditation, one of the first techniques he mastered, allowed him to tap into the latent mental energy within himself, enhancing his cognitive functions and magical sensitivity. As he progressed, whispers of his endeavors began to circulate among the remaining noble families and the common folk. Some viewed him with suspicion, while others saw potential in the young man who dared to challenge the status quo. Sunan knew he needed allies. He began seeking out individuals who shared his vision—a return to the age of wizards. He discreetly approached the remnants of the nobility, the few who still held some influence, and began to forge connections. His reputation grew cautiously, and with it, the opportunities to gather resources and knowledge. He learned of hidden libraries, ancient texts, and artifacts that could aid in his quest. One fateful day, while exploring a forgotten ruin, he uncovered an ancient tome detailing the rituals of the wizards who had once thrived on this land. The pages contained knowledge that could accelerate his growth, including spells long lost to time. “This is it,” Sunan thought as he carefully transcribed the contents into his own notes. “With this, I can not only learn the spells but also improve my synthesis techniques.” As he delved deeper into the arcane arts, he realized that the key to his ascension lay not just in personal power but in understanding the intricate web of alliances and rivalries that defined noble society. He had to navigate these treacherous waters carefully. In the back of his mind, Sunan always remembered the impending return of the wizards. The time was coming when he would have to reveal his true potential and lead the charge into the new era. With each passing day, he grew stronger, more confident, and increasingly aware of the responsibilities that awaited him. The world was changing, and Sunan was determined to be at the forefront of that change—a wizard in a world that had forgotten what it meant to wield true power.
