Reincarnated as Jon Snow with Wishes

Void.

All around me, a deep inky black, the only source of illumination is myself. I thrash, kick and punch, but there is no one and nothing to respond to my actions. It's a weird thing, this afterlife, I thought that I'd be going to the pearly gates to meet an old man, yet here I am in the prime real estate of absolutely nothing.

My life truly never got started if I am to be honest. I had always been a sickly child, attracting maladies like a moth to a flame, knowing the touch of a nurse more than my own mother's. That isn't to say that my parents didn't love me, on the contrary, I would say that I was lucky enough to be blessed with a great set of parents and extended family. We were reasonably well-off, but my poor health left much to be desired when it came to life. I found my respite in books and video games, the bane of existence of mothers all around the world. Imagining myself as a protagonist of these high fantasies, taking in the smell of the earth and the sea, making something of myself with 2 bare hands enraptured me.

Thrashing about isn't working I guess, so I try to scream. Huh. It seems as though I've lost my voice,

"Aye, lad" said a deep, guttural voice "Souls don't really have access to vocal chords."

What was this voice? Where was it coming from?

"Ah, where are my manners, here I'll try to look decent enough for you." said the voice.

As I was thinking if I have somehow gained telepathy, I see an old man with deep, sparking blue eyes and hair whiter than snow.

"Now, I don't know about you, but I think a change of venue is in order, and no you haven't gained telepathy, I can just read your surface thoughts."

As I was thinking about what this old man, told me about, I suddenly feel a deep breeze of air, and suddenly, I am sitting in a deep and plush leather couch with a coffee table in front of me, while the old man also sits down on an identical chair.

"Now, lad, how do you feel about reincarnating?"

Oh, God was this the legendary meeting with a R.O.B?

" Why yes it is, and can you start speaking, I didn't give you back your body, just so that you can keep on thinking, and I need to keep reading your thoughts."

"Sorry, sir." I said " And as for reincarnating, it really depends on what conditions I'm reincarnating in."

"Smart lad, aren't you" said the R.O.B "don't worry though you are going to love these conditions - 3 wishes, as long as they are reasonable, so no making yourself One-Above-All, no omniscience, nothing like that. But rest all is fair play, of course you don't get to choose your background and all, that has already been decided."

"Hmm, then can I first know who or what I am reincarnating as?"

The R.O.B grins and says - "Jon Snow, at the very start of his life. You are going into the world of Game of Thrones."

Shit. This is bad, Game of Thrones characters have really high death rates, a fucking cutthroat world. And Jon Snow? The guy's supposed to be a bastard, even though in reality, he;s the rightful Crown Prince.

But, I guess, this is also an opportunity, I am reincarnating at the very start of his life and already know all of his secrets. And I might not be the brightest, but I'm definitely smarter than the fucking King in the North. The world's medieval, so I know exactly how to steer this world, and with adding in 3 wishes, I can very easily take control of this world.

" Can I at least have some customization on his background?"

"Hmm, what is it?"

"Can you make it so that Ashara Dayne and Brandon Stark had a child, and the child itself was a boy, but stillborn and only those 2, Arthur Dayne and Ned Stark knew about him."

This is my opinion was very reasonable, in the books, Ashara Dayne does have a stillborn child, it's just not known who the father is. Factoring in how Ashara was really close to both Brandon (Ned's older brother) and Ned, along with the fact how Brandon was said to be really popular with the ladies, this change can be considered minimal at best.

"Hmm reasonable, okay I'll allow it. Now, lad tell me your wishes."
