Called by a god!?

[Christmas Day]

To Alexander Christmas was just another day of the week as he had no-one to spend it with his parents abandoned him, and he had no girlfriend to speak of who could accompany him on such a cold and lonely night.

''Ahhhhh I really need to get a girlfriend.'' Alexander was just another lonely man like all the others.

He was just lousing around doing nothing much as he browsed Wetube looking at some V-tubers and other weeb related stuff.

''Man is there nothing good on this damn website.'' As he kept browsing, he started getting extremely bored of everything. It was just one of those days where you just don't find anything entertaining. It being Christmas and not being able to do anything might have added to the problem.

*Vrrrrr vrrrrr* Just as he was about to go to some other website his phone started vibrating. Someone was calling him which was weird as he had no friends who would call him on Christmas. As he grabbed his phone and checked the caller-ID and on the screen, it just said {GOD} the caller-ID said God was calling. Thinking this was some obvious prank he was about to hang up on this obvious scammer when he accidently dropped his phone. In his hurry to pick it back up and check the damages he answered his phone on accident.

''Oh, good I was worried you were not going to pick up.'' On the other side of the phone the voice of an old man just about to croak it sounded. ''I've been trying to reach you about your extended car warranty!''

Just as Alexander was about to hang up the phone in a fit of rage the phone sounded again. ''Wait, wait I was just joking with you. I do actually have something important to talk about.'' 'God' seemed to be afraid of Alexander hanging up the phone on him and he was not wrong.

''Before that who in the seven hells are you.'' Alexander was stumped with who wanted to mess with him so much they even used a voice changer. ''I thought I changed my caller-ID to GOD did I not.'' God whispered but it was clearly audible for Alexander. ''I did change it, it says God. Obviously, you are talking with God.'' Alexander did not buy a word of it.

''If you are God proof it right now!'' Alexander was never known for his patience and was starting to get a little frustrated with this so called 'God'. ''Look outside right now and you will believe me.'' God answered back with absolute certainty he would be believed.

As Alexander got up from his chair and walked to the window, he saw an amazing sight. A long bearded old man was floating outside his window a couple of stories above the ground. He then floated towards Alexander and went straight through the wall to sit on his couch.

''Come, we have much to discuss.'' As he said that he used some kind of telekinesis to pull a chair a couple of meters in front of the couch and gestured for Alexander to sit.

''So, what do you want to talk about.'' Alexander asked surprising even himself with how calm he was after all he just saw. ''Well, it just so happens that your time in this world is almost up.'' God said with a completely straight face.

''My what is what now!?'' Alexander started freaking out hearing that he was about to die. ''Calm down and let me explain.'' As God said that a strange energy came out of his palm and Alexander calmed down in a matter of milliseconds.

''Alright so first of I would like to apologize as your time was not supposed to be up yet, but I messed up the paperwork. I accidently gave your remaining years to a dying old man and could not take them back as he was already using them.''

Alexander felt extremely aggrieved, but he was still calm. It wasn't like he had any other choice of the matter as he was being forced by the weird energy God had put him under.

''As an apology I have decided to put you in the wheel of reincarnation and gift you a system to help you survive against whatever you may need to fight as not all worlds are as peaceful as this one.'' God said as if he was doing him a huge favor by sending him to some huge monster invested place.

''Can I at least ask some questions before you kill me off or are you just going to throw me in like this?'' Alexander was seconds away from bursting with rage even with the calm spell on him.

''I would love to answer your questions but, I'm afraid your time here is up.'' God said with a sad look on his face. ''YOU PIECE OF ABSOLU-'' Alexander's words were cut short when a meteor came crashing through his house.
