The announcer was not using any magic but simply speaking facts.
He also catered to the majority so they would agree with him. It was a nice strategy, and Layla was a little impressed.
But she was not convinced by this annoyance.
"I don't think it matters if someone has a few more months of training. I have hard work issues and put in as much effort as possible to get to this place. I won't give up my place just because you want me to."
The other commoner who had placed in the top 10 spoke up.
He sounded angry, and for good reasons. Layla wanted to join in but let the other man speak first.
"Constant Liam, hold your tongue. I already said we must investigate this problem, so please keep your temper. If you can't, we will have to disqualify you."
The announcer warned the constant, and Liam went quiet.
