Chapter 6: Spirit Training and Time Skip

After the fight, he flew back to where he left the other Yardratian.

Reaching there, he saw Yardratians looking at him while shouting altogether:

Yardratians: "Hooray! Hooray!"

They are all happy to see their hero who saved them. They can sense that the enemies are dead and all their people were saved.

Vegeta then landed in front of the crowd. This time, one of the Yardratian stepped forward and said:

Yardratian: "Thank you very much for protecting our planet, savior. Follow me, Elder Pybara is waiting for you."

Vegeta complied and followed him.

-At Elder Pybara's room-

After following the Yardratian, they reached the room. There, they see a giant version of Yardratian with only difference is it's color blue skin, this Yardratian is Elder Pybara, then he said:

Elder Pybara: "Greetings, you must be our savior. Thank you for protecting our planet and saving our people. I heard that you visited our planet to meet me."

Vegeta: "Yes, I came here to see you and have a request to ask from you if it's ok."

Elder Pybara: "It's alright, after all it's the least we can do to repay you. So I'm guessing that you came here to learn from us, after all it's all we can offer."

Vegeta: "Yes, I heard that you have many techniques that can help me in my martial arts training."

Elder Pybara: "There's been a misunderstanding, I'm afraid."

Vegeta: "Oh?"

Elder Pybara: "We are not blessed with some great wealth of techniques."

Vegeta: "What do you mean?"

Elder Pybara: "We devoted our studies to only a single thing. It's from that that our abilities are born."

Vegeta: "And what one thing is that?"

Although Vegeta already knows what it is, he pretends that he doesn't know so as not to get suspicion about where he learned it.

Elder Pybara: "Spirit control. By having control over our spirit we can make clones, gigantification, teleportation and many other things."

Then, Elder Pybara started to shrink making him the normal size of Yardratian and made many copies of himself while teleporting back and forth.

Vegeta: "So can I learn that?"

Elder Pybara: "Of course. But before that we will have a feast for welcoming and to show our gratitude, tomorrow we will start your training. I'm sure you're hungry after your fight."

Then they went to where the feast was being held and the party started. Although it's new dishes for Vegeta, he still eats to his heart's content after all he can't be choosy.

After that, Vegeta went outside and started to roam the planet and started sightseeing. Then he went to the small house given to him to recover from his mental exhaustion and rest his muscles after.

-Next day-

They went to one of the training grounds of Yardrat. There, he could see many high poles with pointy ends at the top. Then Vegeta started his training where he will sit at the top of the pole and stay there while meditating.

(It's like how naruto trained his sage mode)

After sensing Vegeta's spirit, Elder Pybara spoke:

Elder Pybara: "Vegeta, your spirit is very chaotic. It's the most unstabilized spirit I've ever seen."

Vegeta thought to himself:

Vegeta: 'Well, that makes sense. After all it's not really my original body and considering that my soul is much older than my body. And I think that's also why my body can't hold my power if I turn to super saiyan.'

Elder Pybara then interrupted his thoughts:

Elder Pybara: "Well, it can be fixed. First, you must achieve balance in body and mind. By doing so, you will be able to increase your control over your power and spirit, and your strength will be multiplied by leaps and bounds."

-After three days-

In one of the poles, you could see Vegeta meditating. In the other pole near him(Elder Pybara) and another one on the opposite side you could see another figure(Assistant), they were supervising Vegeta's training.

Elder Pybara: "Mn, wonderful spirit power. Your spirit now is more polished than the other who trained their spirit for a year and you manage it in no time."

Then the three of them jumped down from the pole to one of the big rocks. You could see Vegeta's face full of sweat from his intense training. Then he said:

Vegeta: "Well, I'm different from the others."

After his training, Vegeta was surprised when he sensed his power increased by a lot just by doing meditation. He aimed his right index finger at the mountain and tried to make a small ki beam but what came out was a ki blast larger than him wrecking the mountain. The assistant then shouted:

Assistant: "Hey! Knock that off! Don't go wrecking our planet!"

Elder Pybara: "Even though your power was great before your training here, your body and spirit were so off balance that you couldn't project your own power very well. But you still need to train and get used to your new power.

Now Vegeta's power level increased to:

Vegeta - 10,000,000(PL) & 1,000,000(MP)

(Take note that ki is different from power level. Power level is someone's overall power. You can increase your power level by increasing your ki or having higher control over your spirit and power, like how piccolo increased his strength through meditation)

Elder Pybara put his left palm in front of Vegeta. After a while, Vegeta's tiredness and mental exhaustion was healed. Vegeta was surprised, even though he knew that the elder can do this, he was still surprised because even he who was proficient in using magic he can't heal mental exhaustion and even senzu beans neither.

Vegeta: "Was that… a healing technique?"

This time, Elder Pybara's assistant spoke:

Assistant: "That's one of Elder Pybara's signature moves. Pretty great, huh?"

Vegeta: "And I can learn such a move too huh?"

Elder Pybara: "Hahaha, Don't get ahead of yourself. That's high level stuff, even I took decades to learn it and mastered it for years."

Vegeta: "Huh! Don't worry, I can master all your techniques in no time."

(Take note that Vegeta doesn't have 'instant mastery' but he has the ability to master anything much much faster from one of his wishes. So as to not get any confusion, the ability is called 'instant comprehension'. Meaning, he can understand and comprehend any complicated techniques instantaneously and adding it to his talent, he can easily master techniques with less effort.)

Elder Pybara: "Very well. I will teach you the most fundamental basics first."

Then he began his new training.

-Time skip 10 years-

You could see Vegeta sitting in a boulder while in a meditating position, now he's already 16 years old. In these ten years, he was able to learn all abilities and techniques that Elder Pybara could teach him. Some of the techniques he learned even for Elder Pybara took decades to learn but he just mastered it for a few years.

Vegeta learned how to make clones by splitting his spirit while the original body could still maintain its full power and the clones' power is 70% but he can only make 5 clones to not drop the power much. He also learned how to use 'Force Spirit Fission' where the user can forcefully split any fused objects, spirit, soul etc.. He can even use it to split someone like Kabito Kai who used potara earrings. He also learned 'Instant transmission'. But he will only use it to travel a long distance not in battle, after all he doesn't want to steal one of Kakarot's signature moves so he will teach it to him later. He also increased his sensing ability by sensing the spirit of someone even if it's light-years away.

In the past 10 years, the longest technique he has mastered is soul storage. Although he has 'instant comprehension' ability, it took him a long time to make his own soul a storage and to widen its capacity. Because even though he understood the technique, the technique is much more dependent on his body potential and talent. That's why he can no longer increase the capacity of the stroge till his body and soul grow. For now, his storage is 1,000 cubic kilometers which is very impressive because it's almost comparable to Elder Pybara's who trained it for who knows how long. He also learned Elder Pybara's healing technique, now he can also heal his mental fatigue from training.

But the most fruitful thing in his training is that he has now mastered his super saiyan transformation with almost no stamina drainage giving him x300 base power multiplier. He achieved this form in his first year of training, to not cause any damage to the planet he went to the nearby asteroid near the planet using his spaceship and then tried to transform to his super saiyan giving him a x280 base power multiplier. In just two months, he already mastered the form.

In these ten years, he also joined galactic patrol which surprised them since originally all the saiyan is part of the Planet Trade Organization and what Vegeta is doing now is exactly the opposite but when Vegeta said that he wants to join the GP because he wants to make use of his battle instinct and thirst for battle to protect the universe since he already abandoned the thought of being the one who made chaos and destruction to some planets. He used this chance to practice and train his power with some space criminals while also saving the galaxy but he also avoided being spotted by the PTO. He also stole some spaceships from the criminals and stored it in his soul storage so that he can give it to Dr. Brief when he goes back to earth.

Vegeta's power level is now:

Vegeta - 520,000,000(PL)

His power level hasn't reached a billion yet since he focuses more on his techniques and abilities.

While Vegeta was meditating, he heard Elder Pybara's assistant calling for him:

Assistant: "Hey, Vegeta! The Elder is calling for you."

Vegeta stood up and went straight to Elder Pybara's room.

-At Elder Pybara's Room-

Elder Pybara: "Vegeta, it's already 10 years since you started your training here, you also mastered all the abilities that I've taught you. So what's your plan now?"

Vegeta: " Yes, it's already been a decade. As you know, I will leave after I've learned everything. So I was planning to leave tomorrow and go back to earth."

Elder Pybara: "Yes, since you've already finished the training and mastered all our abilities. You can leave whenever you want."

Vegeta bowed and said:

Vegeta: "Thank you, Elder. I'm very grateful to you for teaching me all your knowledge and abilities."

Elder Pybara: "It's nothing. After all, this is the least we can do after you saved our people. As you already know, we are a peaceful race and only use our abilities to intimidate the enemies since we have many rules to follow regarding the use of our abilities."

After that, Vegeta went to his house and rested. Even though he can heal his fatigue, it's still better to have a rest yourself.

-Next day-

Everyone was gathering around Vegeta's spaceship to say their goodbyes. He went inside his spaceship and left the planet. Even though he can just use instant transmission, he didn't use it because he wants to have a better look at the universe. He went to his gravity chamber and put the gravity to x100 and cast his gravity magic to his body by x60, making a total of x6,000 earth's gravity and began his training. In these past years, he didn't use much of his gravity chamber since he was more focused on his techniques. His gravity magic didn't increase much and can't get any higher than x60, he thought that it's the limit of his magic so he didn't think about it that much.

-Two weeks later-

In these two weeks, because of his already high power level his body was able to adapt quickly to the gravity and was able to increase the chamber's gravity to x250, making a total of x15,000 earth's gravity.

After he finished his training, the ship's system spoke:

System: "We will arrive on earth in 5 minutes."

Vegeta turned off the gravity multiplier in the gravity chamber and went to the bathroom to have some bath. After a while, he got out of the bathroom and went to the control room to wait till he arrived on earth.

System: "We will land in 10, 9, 8,.....3, 2, 1"

Then the ship landed on the grassland making a 'pwooosh' sound.

Vegeta went outside and pushed the button on the spaceship making it into a capsule.

He take a deep breath and feel the air on earth and said:

Vegeta: "It's been a long time, earth."

Then he flew off to the direction of West city.
