Good story so far, just keep your feet on the ground and don't give a very absurd and unnecessary power up, the character already has the advantage of being able to escape from fruit users by sea. use this ability and faith in the story, will there be romance? if there is, choose a female character who is not cliché, I recommend one of the big mom pirates...
