Kankuro was visibly jealous. Or he was just showing the emotions on the puppets face.

After Hinata reached in front of Kankuro, Hayate started.

"Both of you ready ?"

Both of them nodded.

"Alright, the second match starts now !"

As soon as , the proctor finished speaking, Hinata vanished from her spot.

She was very fast. I could barely keep up with her movements. I was really surprised.

'Is see another reincarnated person like me ?' a thought crossed my mind. But I quickly dismissed it full stop without proper evidence I should not assume anything on anyone else full stop for now my focus should be fully utilising my new cheat the adaptation ability to its maximum potential.

In an instant, Hinata appeared a few metres away behind Kankuro and immediately unleached an air palm strike. Her byakugan was active. So Kankuro's trick of disguising himself as the puppet and disguising his puppet as himself didn't work. Instead it was back fired.

"Eight triagrams, air palm !"

Kankuro was slow. I could clearly see his astonished and scared face. He tried to move around so that his puppet could take the damage for himself. But it wasn't that easily especially when Hinata's strike reached him instantaneously.

He was only able to move halfway when the air palm struck him and sent him flying.

He got separated from his puppet while landing.

Unlike Naruto, Hinata didn't continue her attack on Kankuro.

She let him recover.

Suddenly I felt blood lust in the air. Looking towards Gara, he has a murderous expression on his face while looking down on the match .

'This can't be good.' I thought to myself.

Hinata clearly felt the bloodlust as she gave a side glance to Gara. But then I felt another bloodlust beside me.

It was not other than Naruto. I was really surprised.

'Since when did Naruto could project the killing intent of the nine tails willingly ?' I was really surprised by the strength shown by my peers. And promised to work hard myself.

"Then guy is really unlucky... He got Hinata as his opponent." I heard Ino besides me. She was also feeling the blood lust. It was evident from the sweat forming on her face.

"Yeah..." I said as I didn't want to ignore Ino.

Soon Baki repremended Gara for loosing his control. And he backed away, soon followed by Naruto.

Kankuro recovered from the blow as he is stood up. He was clutching his right arm tightly. As soon as he saw the indifferent expression on Hinata's face he tried to get control of his puppet.

But his efforts were useless.

"Eight triagrams, eight air palms !"

Hinata was fast and precise. I understood why she was not using the main advantage of her fighting style. For a Hyuga, close quarters combat, is considered as there strong point. But here Hinata was using only mid and long ranged attacks, which should be the strong point of a puppet master. Proving her superiority compared to Kankuro.

All the strikes met their mark. Kankuro doesn't even able to dodge. All of the strikes were aimed to incapacitate or cripple Kankuro. Not even a single one of them was aimed at his vitals.

Kankuro fell down like a puppet with his strings cut.

"She is ruthless..." Tenten offhandedly commented.

"Hey, don't say that to Hinata chan ! She is perfect. See she only took 47 seconds... Uh oh !

*Sigh* I hope they don't start the third round immediately."

Naruto, who was trying to defend Hinata suddenly shivered looking at her.

"Now, the winner is Hyuga Hinata !" Hayate called out.

Now it was time for my match.

"Sakura... Are you feeling well ? I mean can you use your Chakra ?" Kakashi asked me before Hayate could call out for our numbers.

Honestly I don't feel any pain or discomfort while using my Chakra anymore. The cursed seal has not been completely adapted yet. But my body has adapted it to such a degree that I could control its activation according to my will.

But saying dad I am completely fine would be very suspicious.

"I am fine. It doesn't hurt anymore. Using Chakra is a little painful. But I think I will manage." I answered Kakashi.

He nodded and eye smiled. "Alright then, good luck."

"Good luck ! Sakura chan !" Naruto also greeted me.

"Thank you." I thanked him as it was finally my turn to fight.

"Now number 3 and number 16 come down to the arena." Hayate called out.

But when I was about to leave, an unexpected person greeted me. It was none other than Sasuke.

"Good luck, and win..."

I was really surprised.

I never expected him to greet me publically. The only person he interacted normally was Naruto. He even gives Kakashi cold shoulders many times during our training.

'Did having sex with me changed his perspective towards me a little ?

Because I can't see his personality changing.' I thought to myself.

"Thank you." But I thanked him and went towards the arena in the normal way.

Hinata too greeted me, on her way back.

I came to an halt in front of Kiba and Akamaru.

He was my opponent in the preliminary exam.
