CHAPTER 8: WAR OF THE WORLD'S

Jay was seventeen and full of life. He was moving towards getting a bachelor's degree in commerce, but his mind was wild with music. Jay knew that people in Dubai had a lot more freedom than Oman, and the United Arab Emirates was a neighboring country, so he decided to go there. Excited that his new life was about to begin, he packed up his bag and left for the College of Commerce at Murdutch University.

Don and Shelly had made arrangements for Jay to live in a shared apartment with a family they knew in the Mirdif area of Dubai. The meals were taken care of, and he would pay for it with the rent. Don got Jay a Harley Davidson Classic to get him to campus. Jay loved ripping it, but on a hot day, he preferred taking the metro because he couldn't even imagine sitting on the leather seat when the temperature began to rise.

Jay had grown his hair down to his shoulders, and he was clad mostly in tee shirts, Adidas shoes, Flying Machine jeans, rings on his fingers, Dog tags on his neck and earrings in his newly-pierced ears.

Jay's first year at Murdutch was all about meeting all kinds of new people and making new friends, but Jay was not praying enough. Like in his younger years, he was cornered often by pretty girls trying to get him to have a fling, but none of them really caught his attention.

Fireball followed Jay like a shadow, always there to protect him, but had no control over Jay's emotions and thoughts.

As Jay started his classes, he discovered that it was very free at Murdutch, unlike Logwood High. The professors didn't go after any students or interfere in anything regarding the students as long as the final exams were cleared.

As the classes continued, Jay fell out of his books and into what he loved most after the Emperor—his music. He would pass earbud headphones under his shirt, out the collar, under his shoulder-length hair and into his ears. Then he would bob his head slowly to a Guns N' Roses song or a Limp Bizkit rap rock song during class. Whenever his professor would look at him, Jay would use a certain technique to pull the headphones out from under so that they would fall right into his bag, where they were connected to his Discman.

Rap rock was becoming the fad, and his favorite rapper, Eminem, was breaking stereotypes with his bad attitude lyrics. It seemed amazing that bands like Limp Bizkit, Korn, Kid Rock, Papa Roach, and P.O.D. kept coming out of the woodwork. There were also rebellious demons almost everywhere in the rap rock genre. Most times, they would possess some of the best emcees from different parts of the world as they walked down the aisles of concert stages.

Jay wasn't paying much attention to the spiritual realm, so he was full on for the music. He started to brush up on his own rap flow, and pretty soon, he knew he was just picking up from where he had left off at Route Number Seven. He decided to form a band that would mix everything up from his favorite music influences.

Jay told himself that if he were ever going to be known in this university, it certainly wasn't going to be for his educational laurels but as a fiery front man of a band. It was now becoming a more widespread trend to pick fights in the form of rap battles, like he used to on the bus. Jay was an old school rapper, but he had done his homework in his school days. With these foundations in place, he could recognize that college rappers were at a whole new level, especially the ones who had come out of different countries and were the children of expats from the US and Europe.

One of the most notorious among singers was a certain individual named Cain, the front man of a very popular band at Murdutch called "Fallen Angeline". Cain was also a musician, and the band had almost no competitors.Cain was notorious for many things, including being responsible for the fall of many good students. He used his looks and charm to lure women and had gotten quite a few girls pregnant. Because he was such a rebel, he had been kicked out of thirteen schools.

He was also very competitive and sneaky. There were other bands of college students who played different genres, and college band competitions were the norm of the day. Cain would verbally abuse any musician or singer who was showing better potential than he was. He and his band would walk into the music classrooms, where bands would rehearse. They would watch and make fun of them, and then if he saw potential, he would steal musicians for his band or steal their music.

Cain had watched Jay shelling out his rap lines with potential band musicians a few times. He heard Jay's flow and got intimidated.

One day, Jay was rapping in a classroom in front of some classmates after the lecture was over, and Cain walked in.

He said to Jay, "You're the new kid on the block, and I heard your rap lines. But I'm Cain, the alpha lion on this turf, and if you haven't heard about me, ask anyone."

Just then, a huge demon called "Fallen Angel " stepped out of Cain.

Fireball stepped in front of Jay and looked at Fallen Angel in the eyes, saying, "Don't you even try to lay a hand on the boy. I'm his Guardian Angel, so you can back off."

Fallen Angel gave a wicked smile. "You'll see me again soon," he said as he got back into Cain's body.

Meanwhile, Jay was surprised at Cain's words, but he kept his composure. The other guys in the classroom looked at Jay to see his reaction, but Jay smiled and said, "Just relax. I will continue later."

As Jay was walking out of the classroom, Cain began to follow him. At first, he ignored him, but when he saw that Cain kept following, Jay broke into a sweat. Memories of the bullies at Logwood High started coming back, and now he needed help once again because he was new at the university. Just then, he saw a bunch of guys who used to be his old seniors at Logwood High clustered in the lobby. They immediately recognized him.

"Jay, old pal!" they said and came running to him.

The seniors were very tall, strong, tough guys and the same age as Cain. They had enrolled in the same university. They had remembered Jay only as a kid at Logwood High and were so happy to see him again. They wanted him to open up his rap arsenal.

Cain slipped into a crowd..

As classes continued, the season for music festivals was about to start. By now, most students were into their desired interests. Some started moving into part-time jobs, some were starting their own part-time businesses, and still others just got into their textbooks, aiming to compete for academic success.

One morning, Jay walked into one of the music classrooms, and he found a longhaired guy playing an electric guitar connected to an amp on mid-volume. When he looked up and saw Jay, he smiled and continued the nu metal riff he was playing. Jay began to rap some lines. The guy began to play different chords and changed riffs while Jay kept freestyling. The energy was building until it hit a peak.

The guitar player stopped. He looked through his locks, still sweating. "Wow, man, that was something!"

Jay put out his hand as he introduced himself. The long haired guy shook Jay's hand and introduced himself as Duke. They spent the day together, meeting in between classes, discussing bands and cracking jokes, and they became great friends. Duke was a believer of the Trinity himself and also loved nu metal and the blues.

One day as they were walking to the music classroom with Duke's guitar, they heard the booming of a bass guitar and then some beautiful bass lines flowing through the air waves. As they eavesdropped, they could hear a voice covering the song "Boom" by P.O.D. Jay and Duke slowly opened the door to discover a five-string bass player.

He was all smiles when he saw them and said, "Stanley here, fellas. Are you guys musicians too?"

Jay and Duke introduced themselves as they sat down to talk.

There were a mic and a few amps in the classroom, so they plugged them in and began to cover some songs. They were sounding so good.

About fifteen minutes into the jam, a baby faced hefty guy walked in. As they continued jamming, he kept looking all over the drum kit nearby and around the room. When they paused from playing, the baby face guy said, "Nice music. So sorry, guys. I lost my drumsticks, and I'm wondering if they're here."

Stanley pulled out two drumsticks from his bag. "You could use these if you like," he offered.

"Hey, thanks, buddy. Oh, and I will return these in an hour. I'm Ashley, by the way. People call me Ash."

Now all three were no longer jamming and watched as baby face Ashley opened the door to leave.

"Hey, wait!" Jay called out.

Ashley stopped in his tracks and turned around.

"Can you keep a beat for us?" Jay asked. "If you have some time?"

"Sure, I'd love to," Ashley replied.

He removed his bag from his shoulders and took out the drumsticks. Within a few seconds, Ashley was killing it. They covered a few bands. After that, they were mixing rap rock and singing. Ashley was an ace at drums, especially in double pedal and jazz style drumming. The music room was soundproofed, so they didn't realize that three hours had passed.

The boys were beginning to be friends. They went to get coffee to discuss music. They talked so much that they wanted to keep jamming with each other more.

Jay said, "Hey guys since we are all around here in the same college we should form a band why don't we call ourselves 'Route No. 7 after the bus I used to rap in School'?"

Duke's eyes were wide open. "Man, I love that! Yes, let's do it!"

Stanley and Ashley were on board. Lifting their glasses of Irish coffee, they all clinked glasses and drank to their new band.

EXPOSURE

"Hey, Stan and Ash, can you guys follow us?" Jay asked as he tied his bandana around his head. His long, brownish locks tumbled down to his chest.

Jay and Duke were meeting Ashley and Stanley after classes. They all rode their motorbikes about twenty-five minutes to Jay's buddy Lanzon's house. Jay was excited because Lanzon had a huge, soundproofed basement with quality music gear—a drum kit, mixer, loud amps, and speakers.

Lanzon and Jay had met at the Oman airport. At the time, Jay was leaving for the United Arab Emirates to start university. Lanzon had gone to Oman to visit his friend and was going back to the UAE, and he had a seat next to Jay on the Emirates flight. They became instant friends as they discussed Dubai and Oman. He had just finished college and opened a small café called "Lanz Stand" at Deira, not far from Jay. He had wanted bands to play at his café, but at the time, his business was just picking up, and he wasn't able to afford expensive bands in the city.

Several months later, Lanzon gave Jay a phone call to reconnect, and Jay told him about his band. When Lanzon heard that they had no place to rehearse, he was very happy to have them use his basement. He also wanted them to perform at his café and offered to pay them a decent amount for each gig.

So Route No. 7 started jamming every day at the basement and began to play low-profile gigs at the café. They played for weeks in front of twenty to thirty people on weekends. The crowd who loved music in that part of town was made up of mixed nationalities—Lebanese, Filipinos, Europeans, Americans, other Arabs,Africans and a few Pakistanis.

Route No. 7 mostly covered other bands, but they also began to write their own music. As they were just starting to write as a band, their songs had very little structure. They tried to throw in whatever musical influences they could. They began to try an original composition every week to see if the crowd supported it. When the band wrote and performed their first song "Yahweh" with its crazy rap lines, it was well received. As the crowd became familiar with Route No. 7, they were beginning to like their music.

During rehearsals in the weeks that followed, Duke would come up with guitar riffs, Ashley would play some crazy beats, Stan would invent some weird slapping and tapping techniques on the bass, and they would sit for long hours just jamming. They even played impromptu jams during the two-hour café gigs, topped off by Jay's emcee rap style, and the customers enjoyed it. After a few more weeks passed, they had written six more songs: "1981," "Aisle," "Way," "Wait," "Reasons," and "Done," and people from around the vicinity of Deira were beginning to hear about them.

Lanz and his girlfriend Tasha loved Route No. 7 and were great supporters. Lanz made sure the food was on the house for the band and he would always pay them. He sometimes gave them even more than what the café had made that night. Lanz and Tasha would talk to them about their plans to make the band's music more famous.

Jay and his band were grateful to Lanz just for the opportunity to perform.

Lanz and Tasha were working their fingers to the bone in the café, so they were able to keep paying the band and also expand the café to a large, 150-seater with more tables and a lot of new recipes on the menu. They had a well-trained staff and even added a valet parking. The quality of food was becoming famous, and they were getting business from all over the area.

The band had contributed to bringing more regular crowds on weekends and on the other days when they were scheduled. As "Lanz Stand" was becoming famous, several other bands approached Lanz to perform there and were given contracts.

One Thursday night, a black Hummer drove into the café valet parking, and two unusual customers came out and walked into the café, right in the middle of the Route No. 7 performance. There were about seventy people in the café. The waiter in charge found them a spot on the second-level balcony. He was quite a sight for this city in the Middle East. The six-foot-three, sharp-featured, rock-star-looking man wore his long, golden-brown hair in a ponytail. He wore a white Tom Mix cowboy hat, a red checkered shirt with folded sleeves and opened at the front to reveal a white tee inside, jeans, a large, shiny, brass buckle belt and black cowboy boots. He was a handsome man at fifty years old. There was a very beautiful lady with him in skinny jeans and a black leather jacket. After they ordered steaks, the man in the hat watched the band intently.

Though Jay and the boys were very interactive with the crowd, they never paid much attention to any particular people. Jay would give customers high fives, but he would never get to know them because the band would leave to a private room for dinner as soon as the performance was over, and people wouldn't be able to talk to them. Lanz had kept it that way so that he could build some mystery around the band, until that night.

The band was playing their last song when the man in the hat walked up to the bar counter where Lanz was standing. He smiled and said, "Hi, I'm Scott Nelson, and I'm interested in doing an event with this band. Can we talk to the owner of this café?"

Lanz was surprised. Behind the bar counter, Tasha held his hand and pressed it for support. He was interested, and his girlfriend was his adviser whom he always trusted.

He introduced himself and Tasha and then courteously pointed to a secluded spot where they could sit. Scott introduced his wife Shannon, and the four of them sat down.

Scott said, "These guys are totally amazing. I had a friend tell me about this joint and that the music scene here was pretty good. I do pass through Deira often, but I never really do much here other than some shopping with my wife. I guess this place opened up recently because I haven't seen it before."

"We opened less than a year ago," Lanz said, "and we didn't really have much on the menu. My girl and I were still working out our recipes day and night, experimenting in our kitchen. Back then, we hardly had any customers, but I had met Jay, the lead vocalist, on a flight coming back from Oman a while ago. Then, recently, I found out he was nearby and had a band, so we talked about his band playing at my café. We were very small back then, but Jay was really sweet, and he didn't care about a crowd. In the beginning it was just me and my girl watching the four of them in action," Lanz said as he and Tasha laughed.

Scott and his wife smiled. They thought that however ridiculous that scenario may have looked, Lanz and Tasha had been. A great support..

Lanz continued, "The best part was that Route No. 7 performed like they were in front of a huge crowd. I had noticed that people outside were pressing their noses to the glass doors, looking in to catch a glimpse of the band, and then people began to walk in to watch them perform. It was a free show, but they had to pay for the food. It was a mostly stag crowd, and sometimes groups of girls would occupy the whole place and even stand eating because the tables were taken. In a few weeks, we made so much that we could expand and make this place huge. We also got new furniture. And as of now, we have an average of seventy customers every day, and about a hundred fifty on weekends. Our recipes were well received, and we hope they will remain the same."

"Yeah, we hope to also get better sound system for these amazing bands in due course," Tasha added.

"I feel you guys are already doing a great job," Scott said. "Look, my wife and I are lovers of music and into events, and we would like to watch this particular band more. You can expect us here most weekends. I could also hook the band up to play in other parts of the city and get you a cut for their performances, and I could get you some other great bands who can play here as well that are sure crowd pullers. So you'll basically still have your crowd."

"Wow!" Lanz and Tasha said.

"That would be awesome exposure for us as a café and for the boys," Lanz said. "And since it's your first time here, your dinner is on the house."

Scott had already pulled out his wallet to pay, but Lanz and Tasha refused, even after much persuasion. Then Scott took out two envelopes. "This is not for the food. This is just for you both, and this one is for the band."

Lanz and Tasha were shocked.

Lanz asked, "Do you mind if I introduce you to the band right now?"

"Thanks, but not right now. It's getting late for me. We'll meet them another time." Scott and his wife thanked them as they got into the Hummer and left.

Lanz looked at Tasha and said, "Dang! That guy is loaded, but yet so humble!"

Tasha nodded her head in agreement.

Lanz walked straight to the private room, where the boys had just eaten their fill. He handed them their payment for the night, along with a separate, sealed envelope.

Jay asked, "What's this, Lanz?"

"Well, you guys had fans. This guy and his wife loved your music so much that he wanted to give you guys a gift. He will introduce himself the next time he comes.

Jay counted the money in disbelief. "Woah, forty thousand dirhams. I hope this is not a mistake!"

The band was very happy and made plans to buy some music gear.

"Why don't we get a guitar effects processor?" Duke asked.

"And maybe a distortion pedal for bass?" Stan added.

Jay and Ash agreed.

But that night, the Emperor said to Jay in a dream, "Your first bonus must go as a support to a ministry."

Jay woke up the next morning and told the boys about the dream. They readily agreed, so he sent the whole amount to Reverend Turner's ministry.

* * *

The college music festival season was now in full swing, and Murdutch University was putting together a one-day rock festival for all the students. They announced that the band Fallen Angeline would be the headliner.

Fallen Angeline was a great crowd puller. The colleges loved their music. The band had been performing for three years and had released two albums, which were becoming famous. They performed only originals, which was challenging for a college band to do and become so popular. They had played many gigs in and out of Dubai, and they charged a lot for tickets because fans knew they were simply awesome. Their music was a mix of heavy metal, hard rock, and progressive music. The band was known especially for its electrifying front man, Cain, who would sing pitch-perfect vocals. He could hit super high notes in the likes of Miljenko Matijevic, but he could also growl so very deeply with a rebellious vibe. His lyrics were both intimidating and romantic. He was mesmerizing onstage. It was no wonder that Fallen Angeline was the most sought-after live act in Dubai. Cain was also egotistical and ruled the band with an iron fist.

The festival organizers needed another opening act before Fallen Angeline. One of them had seen Route No. 7 at Lanz Stand and suggested them, so the band was invited to perform.

On the night of the event, the large university auditorium was packed. Cain, his bandmates and their girlfriends hadn't arrived yet. The Fallen Angeline band members were notorious for arriving late for gigs, but fans loved them so much that they would tolerate it. A few opening bands and acts had just performed for an hour and half, and it was now the time slot for Route No. 7 to entertain the crowd with just two songs. Because Route No. 7 was new, the audience didn't expect them to go for more than two songs, either.

When Route No. 7 got onstage, the crowd went silent because they had never seen these guys before. After about ten minutes of sound check, the band was ready. The crowd sat on the floor, thinking it would be a good time to give their legs some rest.

Jay put the mic to work with his punchy, catchy lines. He combined everything he had in the right proportions, starting from what he had learned in the school bus to what he had learned at Lanz Stand. In a few seconds, the whole crowd was bouncing all over the place like kangaroos gone wild. The crowd was so caught up in the music that when Route No. 7 tried to exit for the next band, the crowd became angry and demanded they play more.

The other band, Wolf Hybrid, gave the crowd a thumbs-up and dared not enter the stage.

Route No. 7 played for a full hour and the crowd loved it. Just then Fallen Angeline had arrived. The whole crowd was going berserk as the security escorted Jay and his bandmates backstage.

Cain asked the organizer, "Which band was playing?"

He answered, "Never heard them before. Some band called "Route No. 7"—like rap rock kind of stuff."

Cain smiled. "But you know what happens when we hit the stage."

The organizer nodded. "Oh yes, Cain, yes. For sure! Of course we know!"

Cain went up to the stage, his open shirt revealing his lean frame. He began to serenade the crowd, which was in a total frenzy. Girls rushed up to the stage to see the longhaired, amber-eyed vocalist. In a few minutes, the halls were ringing with classic rock lead guitars, heavy drums, and high-pitched power vocals that tore the air. The crowd was mesmerized.

As expected, after about two hours had passed, the band had given the crowd a fulfillment of music for the evening and memories for a lifetime.

As the crowd dispersed, some of Cain's friends talked about his amazing performance and also about Route No. 7.

Cain asked, "Who are these guys?"

"Some newbies on the turf," Judas, his guitarist, said.

"We will deal with that later," Cain said as he laughed and returned to talking to his girlfriends.

A few days later, somebody lent Cain a video recording of the show. Cain invited two of his many girlfriends, his bandmates, and their girlfriends to his house to watch it using his large home theater system.

Cain's father was a very wealthy Swedish businessman, and his mother was Lebanese. His parents were very influential and very proud people. They spoiled him by giving him whatever he wanted, which anyone could see by walking into his lavish home.

Along the wall opposite the large-screen TV, there was a huge terrarium with a black emperor scorpion feeding on a locust. There was another terrarium below it with a yellow boa constrictor. Cain would often entertain girls by asking them to watch him as Judas would drop the scorpion onto Cain's bare chest. He would let it crawl all over his body, and the girls would scream before he put it back into the terrarium. Then he would take out his pet snake, which he called "Venom." He would hang it on his shoulders and have his girl friends do the same.

They watched the videocassette of their performance as their girlfriends praised them.

When they got to the end of their performance, Cain said, "Hey, I also want to see the other band that played before us, but I can't find it on this tape."

Judas handed him another videocassette tape. "I got this tape in the same plastic case. I think it's the other bands."

Cain put the tape in and began to fast-forward it. He saw many bands that he had seen before, until all of a sudden, he saw Route No. 7 performing. He saw the way Jay was handling the crowd and how his band was rocking them.

Burning with jealousy, Cain yelled, "I think I know this cat!"

The other five members watched the video in anger. "We need to round up these pip squeaks," said Diaz the rhythm guitarist.

Miko the bassist added, "Gotta show them who is boss around here."

"Make sure they tremble when they see us," chimed Jez the keyboardist.

"We'll make 'em real sorry they ever got on that stage," said Judas

"Threaten them?" Trip the drummer asked.

Cain put up his hand. "All in good time. We will confront them."

The band guys gave each other high fives, clinked their beer cans together and began to down their drinks. Then Cain destroyed the videocassette tape that had the footage of Route No.

* * *

Luckily, Jay's friend had shot his own video with better coverage of the band and had already delivered a copy of the tape to Jay. Jay and his bandmates watched it with Lanz and Tasha at Lanz Stand after the customers had left. Even though Lanz would also tape every show of theirs with a camera and kept an archive of his own of the band, he and Tasha loved watching their performance at the festival.

WAR OF WORLDS

Jay had been low on his prayers but was still chugging along, opening the door for troubles to start. Although he usually didn't leave the house till he had mumbled a quick prayer, it wasn't enough to push back the dark forces waiting outside for him. There was a lot of pressure to fall to the temptations of being a young man in college, and the busy life in university made him sometimes miss out on reading his Primus Script.

A whole army of demons was asked to report in a huge, newly-developed conference arena in hell. Lucifer sat on a large throne at the front of the arena. He was very quiet and in deep thought as he had planned a new agenda. The demon armies sat down, and the generals and heads sat at a huge conference table on the platform. Among those seated on the platform were General Fear, General Faux Religion, General Temptation, General Deception, Prince of Persia, General Jinn, Spirit Violence, False Prophet, and Spirit Hatred. Spirit Cupid was one of the special invitees. Eavesdropper was covering the entire meeting on Hell TV, the local broadcasting network in hell, so that no demons would miss it.

Lucifer stood up to address his subjects. He looked like he was about to go to war. "Demons, evil spirits, and the rest of the citizens of hell.We have not been having a very productive time in the war for souls of mankind. Though we have been able to break even between the ones who have been loosed from our grasp and those we've gained, we don't want any more of this. I want to see change. I want new religions made—ones that distort the truth subtly about the One Above and his Son . We need to be careful. General Faux Religion, you have been my rock. I need your support. Together we can do this.

General Faux Religion smiled as he sat wearing a white cloak with a huge, yellow boa constrictor slithering up from under the crisp, starched collar.

Lucifer continued, "I need new weapons made, street brawls, college fights, school fights; more broken homes, father against son and vice versa, mother against daughter and vice versa, sibling rivalries, incestuous relationships; more misunderstandings between countries, leaders of countries, more prisoners to break out, and more drug warlords. I need more violent movies, evil games, guns, daggers, bombs, inventions of every kind that damage human flesh, soul, and spirit, and more powerful, dangerous weapons of mass destruction to be produced everywhere. Where are my brilliant, corrupted minds?"

As he looked around, many hands went up, including those of Spirit Violence, Spirit Disunity, Spirit Hatred, and many other angry, raging, evil ones.

As Lucifer scanned the arena and saw the hordes, an evil smile broke out on his face. "What about marriage breakups, affairs, fornication, teen pregnancies, abortion, bestiality, and sexual perversions? I need to see a rise in these. I need more inventions. I need results, you all. Have you forgotten how creative you all got during the times of Enoch and Noah? This time, I need you to be more subtle. I need this happening especially to them who believe in the one above so that there will be no ark to save them. Kill the ark builder, and there won't be an ark!

The demons roared and stood up, clapping and shouting, "Lucifer! Lucifer!"

Lucifer loved the worship. As he stood smiling, he seemed to be in a trance. All of a sudden, music started playing, and the whole arena began to dance in worship to him. The demons began to dance seductively and in a frenzy before him with moves as unbecoming as can be .

Lucifer motioned to them to calm down. "Please return to your seats, and the meeting will continue."

Demon security guards yelled out foul language to get the entire arena to calm down.

"The next topic is about music," Lucifer said as Spirit Fallen Angel came up to the platform. Lucifer looked at him and said, "You, my dear gifted friend, you have been phenomenal. I have seen your fantastic work all over the world. In fact, I love that you have used sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll to pull in even the youngest of them, which is commendable, and the ages keep getting even younger. You are a next level devil!

"I even love the branch you have started at Murdutch University with those young guys—Cain, yes!" Lucifer laughed. "That boy has been a tremendous tool for us. I love the work you are doing wth him, getting more teen pregnancies, drugs, alcohol, and of course the occult. Wow! And I love the way that Spirit Diabolic Media has helped spread this all over. That Cain is an instrument for me. We've got to make him really famous so that he becomes a phenom I can use to impact the world with sin and filth". He laughed

"Of course, we will end his life in the most horrible way, and then I can bring his soul and all the souls of those deceived through him here so I can torture and abuse them all and make them worship me openly. Oh, I can't wait! The agony of their screams as I rip their flesh ,drink their blood and break their bones apart .This is sweet music to my ears. Oh, I love it!"

Lucifer's eyes rolled back as he intoxicated himself with the thought. His fangs showed as he opened his mouth and drooled at the thought. Then he hollered, "Who wants that kind of fun?"

The demons roared in excitement.

Lucifer continued. "Let's have more of those freestyle rappers get really ugly onstage and on the streets. Get the words and lyrics to be as filthy, demeaning, hurting, violent, unforgiving, coarse, raging, and vengeful as possible. I need more of these to spread out so we can do maximum damage. Get the deejays to spin that kind of stuff. Send some more influence to Murdutch University. I want them to gun that place down."

The demons shrieked in delight. Somewhere in the middle of the arena, a section of unruly demons began to stop paying attention to Lucifer and began going into an excited frenzy of their own.

Seeing this, Lucifer sent a telepathic message to General Fear, who was seated at the far end of the platform: "Get those bastards to calm down before I tear them all apart."

General Fear yelled out the most profane language and ordered the security demons to whip them into discipline.

When the hordes calmed down, Lucifer continued. "Now I am also aware of this young man called Jay. I heard he moved from Logwood High in Oman to Murdutch University in the United Arab Emirates and formed his band called "Route No. 7." He had been a cause of great commotion in Logwood, and we don't want him bringing that to Murdutch. I need Cupid, General Temptation, General Deception, Spirit Violence, Spirit Lust, and Spirit Rejection. I want you all to get him to backslide—drag him down. I want him to be destroyed before he does us any more damage. Are you with me? Revenge is our right!"

The demon authorities on the platform nodded at each other in agreement.

Lucifer sat silently in recollection. His face was becoming angry, and his eyes became ruby red. "I want the soul of Jay , and I am counting on everyone here on this platform to help me," he said as he looked at them.

"O Lucifer," General Fear said, "he was a really tough battle for us. As you know, he has very high force field protection because he has some very powerful saints praying for him and very powerful angels assigned to him."

Lucifer answered, "General Fear, don't give me your excuses. Why are you still talking like a coward? Have I not given you great power and demons at your disposal? This time, I want you all to plan everything here before you go to the earth realm. We cannot have you plan there only to get distracted and later become exposed. Now, how shall we tempt this guy Jay and bring him down?"

"Girls, if you may."

The whole group at the table looked to where the voice came from. It was Spirit Cupid.

"You know I actually got him into a girl at Logwood High, but then he was delivered from our scheme because of his Blue primus assistance. But with the help of General Deception, I could get a girl who claims to be a believer of the one above but is really not. We can use her to delay him from his calling and of course get him to give in to lust so he loses his way."

Lucifer smiled as he got off his seat, walked up to Cupid, and patted his head. "You make me proud, Cupid. Go do it. I am watching," Lucifer said as he began to clap, and the rest joined in.

He ordered a strong drink to be poured for Cupid. The drink was the blood of the humans in hell, which had been extracted from their bodies at the time of death. It was mixed with tears of heartbreak, the sweat of violence, and the vomit of filthiness. The devils enjoyed the drink and got drunk on it.

The meeting was becoming prolonged, and Lucifer had to leave to inaugurate a Satanic church in Norway. His carriage pulled by his thirteen nightmares were neighing for him outside the gates of hell.

As soon as the meeting was over, Cupid, General Temptation, General Deception, Spirit Violence, Spirit Lust, and Spirit Rejection approached Murdutch University.

Fallen Angel had also come in after a private discussion with the deceptive False Prophet to include occult messages in the music. Fallen Angel had made allies of gangster rappers at Murdutch who had several groups in which they practiced freestyle rap. Then demons from hell crawled into their minds as they lived lives of fighting, smoking up, and drinking. Many of these students were deported to their home countries because of their violent behavior, but Fallen Angel had plenty of opportunity to do with the ones who were left. The whole university was a war of worlds in the fight for souls. Every demon and every angel was aware of it.
