Chapter 25: Woken From Slumber

Part 2 of the massive battle. Enjoy chapter 25 people.

Disclaimer: I don't own Fairy Tail or Bleach. Shame, it would be great if I did.

Protector Of The Fairies

Woken From Slumber

Makarov looked up at Kardia Cathedral, already seeing the differences in the structure from what he remembered. He had passed the place only last week and it had been in perfect condition back then.

A fight between Fairy Tail members when they were serious was another matter. They didn't destroy as much as they did years ago, but that was when they were restraining their power. But with Laxus in there, there was no choice but to fight seriously. They would lose otherwise, and that wasn't an option.

He could already see the damage done to the lovely building. There was a small hole in the roof that someone must have cut into and there were cracks along certain areas of the walls as well, no real pattern to it. The doors of the cathedral had been taken off their hinges, the doors discarded to the side of the doorway itself.

At the side of the cathedral, a massive hole had been created. From the direction of the rubble, the attack had definitely come from inside, and it looked like it was Natsu's doing. The edges around the hole were too smooth so who else could it be? A strong enough Fire Spell would have melted the sharp and rough edges created from the blast.

The attack looked to have melted the ground too, and he could see a trench carved into the ground from the fire. It was a miracle it didn't hit the houses but the trench seemed to decrease in its depth as it got further away so Natsu must have redirected the end of his attack at the last moment.

"Who did that?" asked Levy, a hint of awe in her voice.

"Must have been Natsu. Didn't know he could produce such strong flames but it was always possible if the boy is angry enough."

Levy glanced at the hole and nodded. They suddenly heard a crash and managed to get a glimpse of Laxus pulling himself from some of the rubble of the wall he had crashed into. The wall wasn't destroyed yet but it wouldn't be long. The fact they could see Laxus through a hole in it was a sign of that already.

"Will you help the others?"

Levy looked at the Master. "No."

Makarov sighed. "Please Levy. Laxus is powerful, and while I want to believe the others can beat him, reality isn't as kind."

"They're all strong. I wouldn't even make any difference."

Makarov shock his head. "You trained with Ichigo."

"And what has that got to do with anything?"

"If so many people could be inspired to become stronger by Ichigo when they only knew him as a guildmate, then why wouldn't you have gained that same drive as his teammate? I've seen what you can do with Solid Script. It's far stronger than many people believe it is when you use it."

"I still lost to Gajeel. I'm won't be much help, especially since the one who defeated me is on our side now."

Makarov winced. He heard the tone she used with those last few words. She was still angry at Gajeel, and who could blame her. He stuck her against a tree like a trophy after he defeated her, all to start a war.

"You're stronger than you give yourself credit for. People have bad days sometimes, and it didn't help that he interrupted your before you could use your trump card to win."

"He told you about that huh."

"He is sorry for what he did. He was loyal to his guild at the time. Can you blame him for that?"

Levy sighed. "Give it time and I'm sure we'll be all friends like you want. Right now, I hate him. That's better than when I despised his existence so you won't get more from me right now."

Levy looked towards her outfit. "Besides, I only have this stuff on me. It was meant to be a peaceful day so I don't have my gear for my Magic. I'm also lacking my staff after a certain someone took a chunk out of it."

Makarov frowned. "You can still use Magic though. You fought against Gajeel with only Solid Script Spells and your staff. You may not have your staff or the rest of your gear but you can still cast Magic."

"Why else are you pushing for me to fight so much?"

"Because," Makarov admitted, "you're the only one apart from Ichigo who can actually get through to Laxus. And you are also one of the few who would know how he fights"

Levy let out a short laugh. "I can't get through to him. I give him a difference of opinion and can convince him to rethinking things but that was only when he was the old Laxus. That was when Laxus was kinder, less angry at everything. When he got in a mood like this, only Ichigo ever got him out of it. And his moods were never anywhere close to this bad."

Levy glanced at the doors of the cathedral. "Besides, this isn't the same Laxus I knew. He still has a similar drive to the old one but they are too different. As for fighting him, Laxus is way too strong for me to beat. I was the human in a team of monsters."

"So you will abandon your guildmates to fight by themselves?"

Levy glared at him. She could understand why he desperately wanted her to fight, but she knew where all this anger originated from. "I wasn't the one who started it all. You did."

Makarov looked down in sadness. "I know what I caused. I'm paying for the choices I made. But please… All of you are my children. I can't stand to see you fight and cause each other pain any longer."

"It would be very easy for you to end it. Just make Laxus the Master."

"If you thought that would be a good idea, then why aren't you fighting by Laxus's side?"

Levy looked away. Makarov knew she wouldn't join Laxus in battle. She couldn't hurt those who were her guildmates, and she certainly knew what would happen if Laxus became the Master. The Fairy Tail Laxus wanted to create wasn't the same one that he wanted to create three years ago. It was nothing more than a wild obsession now, a goal driving Laxus so far to obtain it.

"I can't pick a side," Levy muttered. "If I joined Fairy Tail in battle against Laxus, Ichigo will have to choose which friend he favours more. And I know he won't join Laxus in this battle. Laxus is still a member of Team Fairy, and I don't want him to see it as Ichigo picking me over him."

Makarov nodded. "So whoever he joins, it was by his own choice and no one can say otherwise."

"Exactly."

Makarov let out a sigh. It was regrettable but understandable. If Laxus drew on his full strength, there would be no one left they could rely on to save Fairy Tail except Ichigo. He would have to put everything on that man's shoulders and beg that Ichigo would prevail. Anything else would mean the end of their home.

"What are we doing about Thunder Palace anyway?"

Makarov glanced upwards. "Three hundred Lacrima that will rain thunder down on the city. With Organic Link Magic protecting them, we can barely take down one without getting taken down ourselves. To be perfectly honest, it is an impressive set up. It has its flaws covered by making sure we can't destroy them without being taken out ourselves."

"Then what do we do about it?"

Makarov glanced back towards the cathedral as he began making the last few steps towards it. "It still needs Laxus to be able to work. If we take out Laxus before it finally fires, then we win. Else, I'll shield the entire town with my own body if that is what it takes."

Levy looked at the Master in shock before running after him. She was now wishing even more that Thunder Palace won't get activated. With the Master's current condition, if he tried to use his Titan Magic to protect the town and got hit by all that Magical Power along, it would be the end for him. The strain his body would undergo just transforming to such a size capable to protect everyone could even be enough to kill him, let alone the thunder that would then follow. If they didn't stop Laxus soon, it would result in the Master's death.

Makarov finished his pace and crossed the boundary to the cathedral, seeing the form of his grandson ready to attack Natsu and Gajeel. But where was Erza?

Wait. That body at the side of the room. Was that… It couldn't be.

"LAXUS!"

Laxus turned to his grandfather and smirked. "Looks like you can still move around huh Gramps."

Makarov settled a furious glare towards his grandson. "What have you done?"

Laxus glanced towards where Erza was after seeing his grandfather glance towards her for a second. "What's the big deal? I only dealt with a bit of trash. It's her fault she couldn't even stand up to me. I expected more from her."

Makarov clenched his fists, preparing to use his Magic when a burst of pain ran through his chest. He clutched where his heart was as he collapsed down his knees.

"MASTER!"

Levy quickly rushed up to the Master, a worried look on her face. Natsu restrained himself from running over too, not willing to allow Laxus an opening. It wouldn't have given Laxus one though as the older Mage had lost his arrogant attitude for a moment and had actually looked towards his grandfather in worry. And then it was gone, hidden away again.

"I've had enough of this," muttered Laxus before he charged towards Natsu and Gajeel. The two Dragon Slayers quickly scattered, dodged a lightning encased fist. An arm of fire spun round and tried to connect with Laxus only for the man to dodge and strike down on the fire arm with a lighting covered elbow.

The flames composing the hand quickly vanished but the arm was still there. A new hand quickly formed at the end and tried to counter at Laxus. The older Mage grabbed the hand with one of his own and pulled, sending Natsu flying towards him.

Natsu fired off fire from his feet as he flew towards Laxus, propelling himself away while at the same time striking Laxus. Laxus took a deep breath as the fire rushed towards him and blasted out lightning, cutting through the flames.

An iron club shot out from the side and Natsu grabbed it, the club pulling Natsu away from the sudden lightning. The lightning quickly tried to redirect itself towards the iron but Gajeel's arm changed back the moment Natsu had been moved and let the lightning sail off away from them all.

His other arm changed then, shifting into a large spear of iron. Gajeel quickly stabbed it into the ground before shouting, "Iron Dragon's Lance: Demon Pillars!"

Spears of iron shot up from below Laxus, all attempting to pierce and wound him. Laxus quickly jumped before his fist enveloped itself in lightning.

"Lightning Dragon's Breakdown Fist."

As Laxus punched forward, a giant fist of lightning shot from his hand, moving at high speeds towards the iron spears below. It smashed into them and exploded in a burst of lightning, the force enough to shatter the iron to pieces.

Gajeel cursed. He had hoped that those spears would have acted as lightning rods in the fight but it was obvious that unless the iron was physically attached to him, it wouldn't be strong enough to take more than one hit, and that was when it was in a large amount. It took a lot of iron in the first place to redirect Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic, especially when it was used in large amounts like this.

Not one to give up though, Gajeel rushed back in, Natsu right behind him for their next attack.

Meanwhile, Makarov watched the fight in progress, regret filling his heart.

Why did Laxus have to cause all this? Why did he have to harm those who should be his allies or even family? Why couldn't all this anger have been directed towards him rather than at the guild?

The worst part was that Laxus was getting the upper hand more and more. Every time Natsu and Gajeel went in to fight, Laxus was that little bit stronger than before. They were challenging his grandson more than he had expected, and they were forcing him to awaken more and more to handle them.

Already, he could see that Laxus had activated his Dragon Slayer Magic, and had entered the Dragon Force state that came with being a Second Generation Dragon Slayer. Or at least that was what he had heard when it came to those who gained their Dragon Slayer abilities from Lacrima.

The only luck they had right now was that Laxus's Dragon Force wasn't working as well as it should be. A massive increase in muscle mass was not what should happen. It meant that Laxus was still holding back. If Natsu and Gajeel kept pushing Laxus though, he might just take them seriously and crush them.

Erza must have been able to handle Laxus until he used Dragon Force. That was the conclusion he was slowly forming. The fact that she wore her Lightning Empress Armour was all the evidence he needed as only extremely strong lightning would be able to overcome it, and Dragon Force gave a very big boost to the user.

He looked over at Levy to see that she was staring at Laxus strangely. She was surprised at Laxus's form, he could see that, but it looked more like confusion about why Dragon Force wasn't working rather than what Laxus was using.

It made sense she would be familiar with what the form was. Laxus wouldn't have hidden things from Ichigo and Levy so he would have shown them Dragon Force when he could first use it. It was likely that when Laxus had perfected it too, he would have shown it to them again but as the completed version. He wasn't sure what the completed version looked like but he knew that Levy would recognise it when she saw it.

He wondered what happened to Mystogan. The man had been fighting Laxus before, and he could swear that it had seemed like Mystogan had been trying to leave at one point as well. Now he couldn't sense Mystogan. Where was that man?

A sudden twitch caught his eye and he glanced towards Erza, seeing her eyes opening slowly. Laxus didn't seem to notice, and he hoped it stayed that way. Erza seemed to realise what was happening from what he could see at this distance and didn't move again, but he knew what she would be thinking. She was waiting for the right moment, and when that moment appeared she would throw everything she had left at Laxus.

Back in the battle, Laxus grabbed Gajeel as he attempted another strike and threw him down to the ground. The Iron Dragon Slayer pushed his hands out as he changed them into clubs, extending them to crash against the ground. The moment they couldn't go any further, Gajeel found himself getting sent flying up towards Laxus's chest, his feet aimed to crash into it. Blades shot out from his feet and he prepared to smash them into Laxus.

Laxus grabbed both legs before they connected and spun around, using the extended club hands of Gajeel to smash Natsu against a wall. The Fire Dragon Slayer spun in the area before his entire body was covered in flames and he rammed himself at Laxus.

"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!"

Laxus gripped onto Natsu as he crashed against him and smashed Natsu onto the floor below. Before he could follow up on his attack, a pair of arms shot out from the cloak of fire and attempted to grab him.

Laxus sneered at the attack. He was already use to this and it was barely any bother to stop. He had to quickly backtrack to avoid the hands but then shot back in and sliced them at the arms with lightning. Before they could re-grow from the flames, he smashed a leg down at Natsu, the boy crying out in pain as the leg connected against his back.

Natsu wasn't one to shy away from pain, instead expelling his flames outwards towards Laxus in an attempt to strike the Mage down while he was distracted.

The flames covered Laxus but they were less effective, Laxus quickly shrugged on the effects of them as he escaped. Laxus sneered again. This was getting easier and easier. As Natsu and Gajeel pushed him further, he simply increased the amount of power he was using. Now that he was used to their surprises however, he didn't need to use any more power. He knew how to deal with their attacks.

Natsu had shown nothing else now after that flame manipulation. He didn't expect the Dragon Slayer to know anything else anyway since the skill that technique needed was not something you could learn in a few weeks or months. It took at least a year of solid practice.

Gajeel meanwhile only had variations of his attacks. It was annoying when the other Dragon Slayer redirected his attacks to areas of iron but it always had limits. The more lightning used, the more iron the Dragon Slayer had to have positioned to draw it away. The only exception was when the Dragon Slayer used himself as a lightning rod, but that was probably because the iron was strongest while still connected to Gajeel's body. It would still have a constant source of Dragon Slayer Magic to fuel it after all.

They were running out of time. He was almost done playing with them. They did well to survive against him this long. Maybe he would let them stay in Fairy Tail as a reward for their skill. However this was as far as they could go. The two of them were nowhere near enough to beat him.

He gave a quick glance to his grandfather. The old man was still crouched on the ground, unable to move much. He couldn't help but be conflicted. Part of him revelled in the pain his grandfather was feeling while the other part of him wanted to rush over to his grandfather's side and check that the old man was okay. He supposed that was the part of him who still viewed his grandfather as he had done when he had been a kid. But he was older now. Whether his grandfather was in pain or not, he wasn't bothered right now.

Levy was next to his grandfather and he was glad to see she wasn't trying to fight him. They had differences but they were still teammates. And he didn't really like the idea of fighting her when she wasn't at her best. He was positive he would win but he wasn't keen on the idea of fighting her when she was at such a disadvantage already.

He was suddenly brought back to reality as Gajeel's chainsaw blade came down on him. This time, he didn't need to dodge, instead blocking it with his bare arm. The more power he focused on in Dragon Force, the stronger he was becoming. Right now all he needed to do to block these kinds of strikes was to simply amply his skin around the area where he was going to be hit. That would cause the skin to act as it would do if he was a Dragon. It would act as a Dragon's scales.

"Anything else?"

Gajeel smirked, not looked the least bit disappointed or shocked at his failed attack. The man shifted his arm back to normal and quickly ducked down to the floor below, Laxus's fist missing him by a hair.

Gajeel brought both hands back and smashed his palms against Laxus's feet. Iron spread around them before tightening to the ground below, large iron bolts holding the restraints in place.

Laxus scowled and tried to break the restraints with sheer force. To his shock, they refused to break instantly.

Gajeel glared up at him, his hands still on the restraints and supplying them Magic strengthen them. He saw Laxus figure out what was going on but before the older Mage could make contact, a pillar of iron shot out of the ground and locked itself around Laxus's fists.

A few more restraints followed the others, locking around Laxus's limbs and body and making sure he couldn't move. His work done, Gajeel stepped away from Laxus and smirked. Laxus only continued scowling.

"You think this can hold me? I'll break out of this in moments."

"You won't be fast enough."

Gajeel slammed his hands together and as the iron formed, the two palms become one with the iron. However it wasn't a smaller construct like the ones before it. The iron kept stretching upwards till it tore through the roof and towered over them all as a massive blade.

"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art: Karma Demon: Iron God Sword!"

And then Gajeel swung, bringing the blade straight down on Laxus. It torn through the rest of the roof in its way and smashed down on Laxus, the power of the slash even continuing beyond the older Mage and tearing through the walls of the cathedral and along the roads it crossed too. Smoke and dust kicked up around the impact areas before Laxus shot out of the cloud, his restraints broken around him while he laughed.

"THIS ISN'T ENOUGH!"

"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art!"

Laxus froze, his head slowly turning to see Natsu with large torrents of flames surrounding his arms.

"Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!"

The fire spiralled around Natsu and the flames blasted into Laxus, the power behind the strikes increasing with each consecutive hit they landed. Each time Laxus was hit, he was caught in a burning explosion, constantly getting bigger as he got hit until he was trapped in a burning inferno.

It was nothing like Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame. That technique had been a powerful blast of fire but this was a Secret Art. They were the strongest of all Dragon Slayer Techniques and required immense practice and concentration to even learn one. The fire produced from the Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade Technique was far greater than any fire Natsu could generate. It was stronger, denser, more explosive. Once you were hit once, you couldn't avoid being hit by another and the cycle continued until the Spell finally ran out of Magic.

As the explosion died down, Laxus was thrown out of it, crashing down to the ground. As he got nearer, he suddenly flipped over and landed on his feet, crouched to the ground. Laxus glared down at himself for a moment before glaring at Natsu. That technique had been deadly, and he couldn't say that he had gotten out of it unharmed. If he had been a bit weaker, he would have lost.

Natsu stared at Laxus in anger. "Damn it."

Laxus laughed. "See! This isn't enough!"

"It bought me enough time."

Five staves landed around Laxus and he saw Mystogan run through some hand signs.

Wait. Laxus widened his eyes at the newcomer. Mystogan had abandoned his mask, revealing his blue hair and tattoo to the world. It was the face of Jellal Fernandes.

Laxus knew that the two people weren't the same. Mystogan wasn't Jellal. No one else in the guild had known what the man had looked like except for him and the Master. And if people like Natsu or Gray had seen his face, they would have believed the man to be an enemy. Erza would be stunned silent or would demand answers from him as she tried to beat him up.

This was why Mystogan hid his face. Looking exactly the same as a prominent member of the old Magic Council would have posed questions, which Mystogan obviously did not want to answer. If people saw his face now, they would believe him to be the villain who destroyed the Magic Council's Headquarters and created the Tower of Heaven. Not only that, it could even incriminate Fairy Tail by making it look like he was acting under their orders. Mystogan had been in the guild a long time after all.

So why show up without his mask? He had damaged it enough to reveal part of it and it must have gotten worse as Mystogan had left. So why return? Unless… Was Mystogan preparing to sacrifice his secrecy in order to try and stop him taking Fairy Tail?

Five Magic Seals appeared, four surrounding Laxus while one appeared above him. Each Seal spread far enough to just about reach each other, not leaving any gaps to escape through.

"Five Layered Magic Circle: Isolating Prison!"

While not layered in the normal way, the Spell works just like all of the other Spells Mystogan had. Each Magic Seal amplified the Magic as it passed through. In this case, the Magic bounced along each Magic Seal before finally releasing from all of them at once. Blasts of Magic bombarded the Lightning Mage and didn't let up, continuing till it was a stream of Magic that eventually formed a solid cube due to none of the Magic being able to escape the Seals.

Just when it all seemed over and Mystogan tried to relax, a fist shot out of the top Magic Seal, and a hand gripped the edge of the hole made and tried to force his way out.

"I won't lose!"

"Yes you will."

Erza appeared right above him, exhausted but still able to move. She still had on the Lightning Empress Armour and had a hand drawn back. "This is a thank you from earlier."

Laxus's eyes widened as her fist was suddenly encased in lightning. He had believed he had put her out of the fight for good. She had been completely unresponsive. She must have forced her way back to the surface of her mind from sheer will. And when he had taken her out before, he had done so by using so much Magic that the armour couldn't handle it. However for that to happen, it first needed to have not been able to store any more of his lightning.

And now, she was using all the power the armour stored in one blow. Erza shot forward and smashed her fist down on him, lightning blasting him down to the ground and shooting up from the cube due to the sheer amount of electricity stored that was released at once.

The cube couldn't take any more of the power flowing through it and detonated, increasing the blast around Laxus. Erza flipped through the air and landed by the others, sparing a sudden glance at Mystogan and letting the shock fill her face.

"Jellal…"

Mystogan shook his head. "Not now. I do look like this Jellal, but I am not him. We need to focus for now."

"Right."

Natsu and Gajeel joined them in watching. "He can't have really survived all of that can he?" muttered Gajeel, not sure if he actually wanted to know the answer.

"There is no way he could have," protested Natsu. "We hit him with everything we had. Two Secret Arts, a Five Layered Magic Circle, and an armour full of Laxus's own Magic. It's impossible for him to survive it all."

A sudden laugh filled the air before it turned full out hysterical. All four Mages froze, staring into the smoke where Laxus was. That was impossible. He couldn't have…

But he had. The smoke slowly cleared, at a pace which seemed like an eternity to the four Mages, to reveal the laughing Laxus. He was different again, but this time it was more terrifying. The giant increase in muscle mass was gone. In fact, Laxus' s muscles had returned to their normal size, or at least to just a tiny bit bigger than the normal size.

There was something about the energy around him too. It was more confident and stronger than before, and they all could sense something about it. They knew what they were looking at. This was Laxus's true strength.

Makarov froze as well as he saw Laxus like this. He knew Laxus was still in Dragon Force, it was something about the aura around Laxus that gave it away, but it was Levy's reaction than confirmed it. Her eyes were wide and he could see her fists were clenched as if to stop herself from shaking.

She wasn't the only one. Erza was gripping her legs were her hands while Mystogan was tightening his grip on the staves that had flown back to him as the Spell ended. Natsu was a bit worse off, actually shaking slightly, while Gajeel was looking like he wanted to run away and hide.

He couldn't blame them all for being scared. Everything they had was just thrown at Laxus and he came out of it looking stronger than ever. He was sure the attack hurt Laxus, as had a few of the attacks before, but each time they had pushed him to the limit, he just came out with more of the strength he had locked away inside of him.

And they likely knew what it meant now. That power Laxus had shown wasn't gone. It didn't vanish. It just shrank, compressed itself and became stronger in that more dense form. And while Laxus may have not been able to use his Lightning Form before, he would certainly be able to now.

"How…"

There was one thing to know why Laxus survived the attacks. It was another to give the answer like Natsu was asking for. Because while it could be explained, seeing everything you have not even being able to scratch the enemy was truly terrifying to try and understand.

Erza's armour suddenly flashed as it changed, revealing a new set. Unlike a lot of her more revealing armours, this truly fit the image of armour, pink plates covering almost her entire body. At her knees and shoulders, ornamental wings were present, while on her back, a large pinkish white cape hung around her. Her hair had been braided as to fall behind her back while a tiara rested on Erza's head, a feather like protrusion on each side just like the wings on the shoulders.

As for her weapons, she had returned to her preference of swords, only this time having two at once. Each sword was identical to the other with wing like guards around the blade at the hilt along with the Fairy Tail symbol in the centre of the guard. The result meant that she looked a lot like a knight, and they all knew who the knight fought for.

Makarov stared at the armour in shock. Erza had shown this to him once. It was known as the Armadura Armour, and it was likely one of the strongest armours Erza had, if not the strongest. A massive increase in the wielder's offensive power coupled with the ability to manipulate energy in the forms of blasts made a deadly combination. Erza said that this armour symbolised her pride as a member of Fairy Tail, and for her to use it meant she was putting everything left on the line.

He knew what this armour meant. She acknowledged that she could not beat Laxus by trying to neutralise his Magic, and so was willing to brace it all in order to kill him if necessary. They could not beat Laxus if they didn't take risks with their lives now. This was beyond the level of a normal fight. This was the realm only Mages referred to as Monsters could enter.

Laxus raised an eyebrow at Erza's armour but he didn't look scared. And Makarov knew why. He doubted the armour would help at all too, but Erza was still willing to try. And her refusal to give up was affecting the others too. Natsu slowly stopped shaking as he encased himself from head to toe in flames. Gajeel's skin glowed brightly before it changed to that of iron. Such a thing was dangerous for him as it was essentially making him a human lightning rod. The will to do such a thing to hope the others could take advantage of the moment was inspiring to see. As for Mystogan, he simple held his staves ready, prepared to set up another Spell even if he himself got caught up in it too.

Erza raised her swords and charged, the others rushing behind her. Laxus simply brought back a fist and rushed forward, lightning covering it. Erza got ahead of the group and slashed at Laxus as he brought a fist round to smash her away. Erza's sword glowed bright green as lightning like energy sparked off it and the speed increased, the two attacks finally hitting something and exploding against the object.

Natsu and the others stopped suddenly and Erza couldn't help but recognise the voice that spoke. Or maybe it was the familiar mop of orange hair that gave the identity of the person in front of her away. Laxus meanwhile had a massive smile on his face.

"What a mess you've all made," muttered Ichigo, staring them all down. "Anyone want to explain to me what the hell is going on here?"

Protector Of The Fairies

And he's here. Ichigo has arrived.

So Laxus has finally released his full strength. He was always regarded as a Monster in canon. Does he fit that description here? Anyway, we had a bit of terror for the others before they regained their will and determination. I kind of wonder how well Makarov would fight against Laxus though so it's a shame about his heart condition. I remember how awesome his Titan Magic was on Tenrou.

Next chapter is it. The big fight you've all wanted to see. Ichigo vs Laxus. Who will win? Who will lose? Admittedly, knowing one answer gives you the other but who cares about that. Sorry this chapter was a bit shorter than the last one but this fight is ridiculous in length, and the next chapter is the longest chapter I've ever done. I'd say it is all battle but there is talking too, and I break up fight sections anyway with bits of thought and small talks. Hope you will all like it next week.

Still no access to Bleach yet but Silver in Fairy Tail was impressive. A slice of his hand and Natsu was frozen solid? Now that is what I'm after in Demons. That is the kind of power I want to see. Silver, you just made my list for Demons to be used in this story. I'd use them all but some more than others.

For now, I hope you can all wait for next week. I'm glad I have these backup chapters right now because all I can do at the moment is edit, or at least till my exams are all over. Wish me luck guys.

Anyway, till the next time. I've been Takei. Thanks for reading.
