Reborn in a different world, follow kelvin as he creates his own path towards godhood

Chapter 11

In the mountains a loud boom disturbed the tranquility of the wildlife on the face a small mountain was a series of small black crater and a black haired boy with red eyes was gasping next to it. The boy dragged is exhausted body to the nearby stream for a drink before passing out in his tent nearby.

Kelvin woke up the next day to the sound of running water, he couldn't help but miss the lazy life he had once before on earth. Yes kelvin wasn't on earth anymore at least not the earth he was familiar with he had crossed over after forgetting to turn off the stove while he was watching anime on the internet. When he woke up he found he had was in a 12 year old body as opposed to the 22 year old one he was familiar with, when a stream of unfamiliar memories rushed into his mind he understood he had crossed over. Fortunately the body he was in now was also named kelvin and since he inherited memories from the original it wasn't all that difficult for him to adapt. The kelvin he was now wasn't the same carefree otaku who lived of his parents meagre inheritance instead he was now an orphan with no friends or family living in the slums in a world where the average security officer could punch a small mountain to dust.

Kelvin shook his thoughts out of his mind and stood up and examined his work on the mountain, he couldn't help but grin satisfactorily the craters where a result of his one month work of trying to make the fireball talent he awakened six months ago to work like the famous spiral pill in the anime Naruto. Since he came to Eden six months ago he had spent his time using all his meager savings to buy medicines to fortify his physique and prepare for the state exam. If he failed the exam he would starve to death, he had to bring out a good performance so he could get a schorlaship to a good school and be able to leave the slums and experience a wider world.

Kelvin left the mountains and slowly walked walked to his dilapidated home that was at the edge of the mountain range, as he walked he began thinking about his talents. He knew from his memory that in Eden 20% of the population awakened talents these talent could range from barely useful to bizarrely powerful, that isn't to say people without talents aren't powerful, the world he was in was like a mix of a martial and scientific world as long someone reached a high enough realm they could ignore the powers of those that awakened talents. As a matter of fact if one doesn't have an exercise that matches his talent he would never become xiantain and would be a weak mortal. Even though kelvin was fortunate to awaken an elemental talent he was unfortunate that the heat of his fire ball wasnt enough to effectively burn through rock not to mention steel so unless he had a manual that matched his talents so that he could cultivate, he could only find other ways to increase his fighting power, fortunately he had an extremely powerful soul which allowed him to have almost perfect control over his body and talent and he had inspiration from countless anime and novels that enabled him to have an extremely strong fighting power. Although he had countless ideas he could only implement a few because his physique couldn't handle it and he had no money for hospital fees if he was injured.

When kelvin got back to his home he started packing his few valuables and sold the house to the store owner that was a few blocks away, with the money he got he was finally able to afford the registration cost for the test. After getting the money he immediately started walking out of the slums, the test was tomorrow but he needed to register today and since he didn't have a smart watch he could only go to the city center and use the massive internet node to register.

Young Master's PoV: Woke Up As A Villain In A Game One Day

"Now you see?" she shouted in a mix of annoyance and disappointment. "You can't outsmart Scrients! They're the most intelligent beings across the two realms." "You're right," I muttered, averting my gaze with a heavy sigh. "I made a mistake. I was too arrogant to think that a mere human like me could fool them." —BOOM!! "Heik! Wh-What was that?" "Hmm? I'm not sure. Maybe you should go and ask the most intelligent beings across the two realms. Oh wait, you can't. I killed them all.” ______ My name is Samael Kaizer Theosbane. On the last day of high school, I got into a fight with a kid I used to bully. It was a stupid, pointless scuffle, and in the middle of it, I tripped and hit my head on a rock. That’s when the memories came flooding in - the memories of another life, of a different world. Suddenly, everything made a twisted kind of sense. I realized two things. First, I was in a game I used to play in my past life. Second, I was a villain. A villain! Not the cool and mysterious kind, either. No, my destiny was to be manipulated and die a dog's death! I was the worst type of cliché: an ungrateful, privileged, insufferable young master. The sort you'd find in those poorly written fantasy stories. The kind everyone hates — a snobby brat from a powerful noble family who thinks he owns the world just because he was born with a silver spoon lodged in his mouth. You know the type. The one the hero beats to a pulp to prove his worth. Yeah, I was that guy. And the hero? The hero was the kid I’d been bullying all this time. The same one I got into a fight with. He was the supposed savior of this damned world. A world teetering on the edge of destruction, beset by wars, calamities, and a grim future that only I knew. And at the end of it all, the final antagonist of the game, the undefeatable boss… the Spirit King, was waiting. But could I even make it to the end? Could I conquer a game where defeat was the only certainty? A game that was now my reality! “Ah, fuck it.” I had no idea if I could, but I sure as hell was going to try. Extorting extras, manipulating main characters, twisting the story to my advantage, stealing the hero’s cheat items, killing villains before they could become threats - nothing was beneath me. Would the main characters be affected? Who cares! Would the story change? Even better! All I cared about was me—my survival, my life, my choices. “I will live this life with no regrets.” …But as I soon discovered, fate was not easily changed. And the price of altering one's destiny was steep.
