Chapter 2 Cave

Couple hours later it is the morning. There location has changed from the forest to rocky mountain cliffs. Gallade is jumping up the mountain using ledges of the mountain. He is carrying Ralts bundle up in the blanket that is similar to the color of the mountain. Thanks to a combination of [Future Sight] which allows him to avoid any pokemon and threats in the area, And [Calm Mind] which increases the range, distance, and clarity of [Future Sight]. Gallade was nearing the top when a growl noise almost made him fall face first to the ground.

"..." Gallade holds ralts up like from the lion king.

"..." Ralts stares at him with a red face.

"Is someone hungry?" Gallade says with a smile.

"N-No *Growl* uh" Ralts has a redder face holding her head down. Her hair completely blocking her face while some steam is escaping.

'It's time like these that make me remember the old days.' Gallade thinks to himself with a bigger smile.

Ralts who sees Gallade with a smile is flailing her arms around while pouting. "Stop making fun of me dad." Her shaking caused the blanket to fall an the ground.

Gallade puts her down ruffling her hair still with a smile. "Okay, Okay, calm down my strawberry." Gallades eyes began to light up slightly blue turning his head to the side. "Lucky us. There is a cave with a small area that has a almost flat area." The blue glow dies down. Gallade picks up the blanket extending it in front of Ralts who is pouting and having her arms crossed. "What?"

"I'm not a strawberry." Ralts says with a hmp noise at the end.

Gallade shakes his head "Of course not, your my precious little girl. Now come on, the faster we get there the better I can prepare for our lunch."

Ralts goes to her father. not because of what he said but because she is worried that her stomach will growl again. Gallade then begins to wrap her in the blanket holding her closer to him.

"Hold on tight I'm going to go up a little higher." Gallade begins running to the edge of a cliff not slowing down.

Gallade extends his hand a small cloud of smoke appears on his hand. There is a small green plushie dragon which is about 3 inches tall and 1 inch wide [Substitute]. Gallade begins increasing his speed once he reached the edge jumps off. He appears and disappears two times in the air. when he appears again he sees another cliff but can't reached it. He extends his arm back and tosses the plushie using [Fling]. Before the plushie hits the top of the cliff Gallade wraps himself and Ralts in a blue vail [Psychic].

One second there was a Gallade with a satchel hugging a blanket falling to his death in a wide open space in the mountain. The next there is a small green dragon plushie with tears falling down the mountain disappearing in the fog. How convenient. RIP.

On top of the cliff there is a Gallade who is looking back. 'A [Substitute], 2 [Teleports], [Fling], [Psychic], and a [Ally Switch]. not to mention what it cost for [Substitute] even if it was small it had to be big enough to [Ally Switch] but small enough to use [Fling]. I'm getting rusty...no I'm getting worse.' Gallade looks at his hand that tossed the plushie. 'Is it due to age or is it because.' He looks at the bundled up ralts then shakes his head. 'No, it wont matter where we are going. All I have to be now is a father.'

Gallade begins walking on a flat smooth area heading to the cave with his eyes glowing blue. Once inside his eyes loose the glow and puts down Ralts. The cave isn't deep it's big enough for the two of them with a fire in the middle. There are dried twigs, dead leafs, and old feathers of the last occupant who was here. Most likely a old nest that belonged to bird pokemon.

Gallade goes through his satchel taking out 3 empty glass jars, a Earth Plate, 3 Hollowed apricorn that lost its color looking brown, 6 charcoal sticks, and 3 silk scarfs. Gallade goes to the center of the cave. "Sweety can you pickup the twigs and leafs over there."

"Ok" Ralts goes to pick up a twig when a rock tugged on her blanket stopping her. She looks back, the gears in her head spinning with a glint in her eye and evil smirk grin [Nasty Plot]. Ralts unfolds her blanket grabbing all the nearby twigs and leaf while avoiding the feathers that make her sneeze and dumping them on the laid out blanket.

Gallade who is in the center of the cave is crouched feeling the ground for a while. He lifts his left hand back balling up a fist for awhile when a red glow begins forming around his fist. His glowing fist is goes completely red quickly he punches the ground small dust cloud formed and smaller cracks formed around where he punched [Brick Break].

Gallade extends his right hand his eyes glowing blue all the dust going to his tips of his finger forming a spiral dust cloud. using his left hand that is no longer glowing red he hovers it on top of the spinning dust cloud. Both his hand getting closer to each each other while the dust cloud is being squashed and stretched. Once he cups his hand there is a pebble left.

"WOAH, I wanna know how to do that" Ralts says

"..." Gallade stares at her daughter who isn't bundled in her blanket but is instead using it as a sack which she is dragging it on the dirt. Gallade was about to reprimand her when he feels a strange energy around the cave.

While Gallade is distracted by this unknown energy Ralts runs to him dropping the sack of twigs and leafs tugging on his leg "Come on dad teach me how to do it."

"..." Gallade is crouched down feeling the ground completely ignoring Ralts.

Ralts who sees his dad that's ignoring her jumps on his back her arms around his neck throwing a tantrum. "Show me how to do it dad."

Gallade who looked calm the entire time went wide eyed. Jolting his head to where he used [Brick Break] on the ground. The ground begins forming back almost as if time reversed itself. Seeing this he turns his head to the cave entrance slowly noticing that there is no cave entrance.

Ralts who feels his dad shaking stops her tantrum. she feels her dad's fear. with a worried tone she ask "Dad is-is. is everything okay."

Gallade who now noticed that his daughter is hugging his neck, If he was standing she be dangling. Gallade takes in a deep breath which calms him down. Turns his head slightly to face his daughter with a stern voice he says.

"Listen well, if I tell to run, run. If I tell you to hide, hide. If tell you stay close, you stay close. And if I toss you the bag." Gallade stops talking looking straight at the stone wall that is crumbling.

Ralts who is feeling sorrow coming from his dad, is shaking. She replies with a scared tone stuttering in her words. "I-I-If yo-u to-oss th-e b-bag th-hen."

Gallade who sees the crumbling wall falling into rubble sees a dark corridor. Standing up slowly Ralts is still cling onto his back. He says "If I toss you the bag." Gallade stops himself turning his head to meet Ralts. "If I toss you the bag you must leave me behind."

"!!!"
