"Ralts! Ralts!"In the morning, Bruce was working on Ralts' future training plan in the dormitory when suddenly the teacher rushed in, flustered, and extended his short hand to tug at Bruce's sleeve.
"What's going on?" Bruce asked.
"Ralts! Ralts!" Ralts pointed towards the living room.
Seeing this, Bruce stood up and followed Ralts into the living room.
In the living room, Beldum was surrounded by a white light.
"It evolved," Bruce muttered, nodding to himself as he observed the scene.
Beldum had already reached the limit of its evolution the previous day. It must have gained some experience during this morning's training and finally begun to evolve.
Bruce, Ralts, and Combusken watched intently as Beldum was enveloped in the white light.
After a while, the light gradually dissipated, and a Pokemon with a disc-like shape appeared.
It was covered in silver, with enormous iron claws extending from its two arms, and a single red eye at the center.
Metang was the result of two Beldum fusing due to magnetic forces. The two brains connected through magnetic nerves, generating powerful psychic energy, though the intelligence itself didn't change.
"!!Metang!!"
Metang landed on the ground and stood up, its two arms raised.
Combusken and Ralts approached Metang and studied its evolution carefully.
At the same time, Metang's data panel updated.
[Pokemon: Metang (Steel/Psychic)
Ability Clear Body

Level Lv20 (Senior)]
Seeing Metang's abilities, Bruce finally breathed a sigh of relief.
After a successful evolution, Metang had finally outgrown its lack of moves and could now master many more techniques, greatly improving its combat potential.
"It looks like it's time to begin the next stage of special training," Bruce thought with a simple smile as he gazed at Metang.
Though Metang had the Psychic typing, it moved and flew via magnetic force, and its brains were connected by magnetic nerves to generate powerful psychic energy.
In other words, the stronger the magnetic force within Metang's body, the more powerful its magnetic energy would be, and the faster it could move.
"In the records about Metang, it's mentioned that Metang loves minerals that can emit magnetism, so they'll chase after Nosepass," Bruce whispered.
From what Bruce knew, there were many places in Avalon filled with special magnetic fields. These places were a paradise for Steel-type Pokemon.
Similarly, such places held a fatal attraction for Metang.
"But this isn't urgent. Metang has just evolved, and the most pressing task now is to lay a solid foundation, master more moves, and enhance combat power."
"Besides, there are only six days left before school starts, so there's no time to visit those places filled with special magnetic fields," Bruce thought to himself.
Anyway, as far as he knew, no such place existed near the city of Fairbay, and if he wanted to visit others, he would need ample time.
"Well, no rush. There will be plenty of time after the field training is over."
Bruce had once heard Jessica mention that there was plenty of free time in university. Aside from a few mandatory courses, the rest of the time could be organized freely.
Even if you wanted to leave campus, you could travel to various places, as long as you guaranteed passing the final exams.
"Then, over these six days, I'll focus on leveling up Combusken, and I'll have Metang master more moves."
With that, Bruce glanced at Ralts, who was playing with Metang, and murmured softly, "And third, let's make sure Ralts develops well."
...…
Five days later,
The day before heading to school.
Bruce stared at the three Pokemon in front of him and spoke in a deep voice:
"After six days of hard training, we've made significant progress."
"Ralts!" Ralts exclaimed, raising its hand with excitement.
"!!Metang!!"
Metang gazed with its blood-red eyes and waved its arms.
"Chaar!"
Combusken's eyes were sharp as it prepared itself.
The specific information for the three Pokemon was as follows:

Combusken had reached level 28, and its move pool was extremely rich, with its offensive capabilities greatly expanded. Bruce believed it could reach Elite level in at most a week.
Metang had only increased by two levels, as it had focused on mastering new moves and improving its proficiency in the last few days, but its combat strength had greatly improved.
Ralts had been allowed to develop and flourish, but due to its Champion-level rating, it had only reached ordinary level. A better future was expected.
To be honest, Bruce hadn't focused too much on leveling up his Pokemon from the beginning.
This was easy to understand. Combat strength is the deciding factor in a Pokemon battle, and level alone doesn't determine the outcome.
To improve a Pokemon's combat potential, one must focus on many aspects, such as the Pokemon's physical condition, its move set, proficiency in those moves, and battle experience.
Thanks to Emma being the best Pokemon breeder, Bruce had allowed his Pokemon to develop in many ways during their first breeding phase, focusing on every aspect, not just simply raising their levels.
However, as the Pokemon's levels gradually increased, the gap between Bruce and other Trainers would become bigger and bigger, eventually growing so vast that others would despair.
Without him, Bruce's Pokemon had no barriers and could increase their strength without obstacles.
Right now, his Pokemon might only be on par with his peers, but after some time, there was a high chance they'd be two or even three levels ahead.
"Well, that's the charm of the system."
"Next, let's use a real battle to test the results of the past few days of training!"
