EPISODE 53: Morgan*

The clock strikes ten in the morning and the crash of thunders woke me up. The bitter coldness which once shrouded my body is nothing but a mere figment of my memory.

The morning seems to be violent for the wind is chaotic and the clouds cry with despair. Thunders came by, adding a touch of resentment unto the sky's rainfall of emotions.

Above me, I could hear Charlotte's loud snores. Her snores slowly fade the cold turmoil within. For a moment, I left the room without my Pokemons. Their energy is fully depleted after the incident on the island.

The sensation of silence murmurs everywhere as I walk pass through the corridors. Not a single person is in sight except for the Secretary. She seems to be doing her agendas while walking in the halls.

"Oh, you're awake already?" Matori questions as her eyes glanced upon me.

"The storm woke me up." My mouth yawns as the words tremble on its way out.

"I see. Oh right, I almost forgot. There's a woman waiting for you downstairs."

"A woman?"

"Yes, I think her name is Morgan and she's dying to meet you." Matori exaggerates with her pupils rolling to the side.

"Morgan? I do not know anyone named Morgan. Are you sure she's looking for me?" I doubt.

"The last time I've checked, there is only one Luna. If what you say is true, then I'd suggest that you follow her. You never know if she's a spy of the other side. Spies tend to leave crumbs of information nowadays." Matori utters. She then continues to focus on her agendas and left me with somewhat a secret mission perhaps?

My mind was bewildered by her instructions. Well, I can't assume if the woman I'm about to meet is a spy, so there are still uncertainties if this is a mission or not. Although, it is quite weird for someone to know me yet I don't know them.

In the dressing room, I change my outfit to the regular outfit I usually wear during my free time. My mind grew with curiosity over this "Morgan"

Who is she?

In the lobby is where I saw the young woman. However, she seems to be one to two years younger than me. It's quite bewildering for Matori to assume that a thirteen to fourteen-year-old woman is a spy of the Pokemon Government Council.

Although I am the first to see her, she is the first to make an impression on me. After seeing me, she quickly dashes to me with joy and pleasure just like Charlotte and Jenny's rambunctious spirits.

"Your name is Luna Evergreen am I right?!" She questions with exuberance and liveliness.

"Yes... yes I am. Are you Morgan?" I query with an intoned voice. I pondered upon her looks, and her eyes seem to be identical to mine.

Without uttering another word, she grabs my hand and dashes out of the tower with energy and stamina. She leads me to a cafe and suggests that she'll be the one to pay for the food.

I agree to have breakfast with her since through this process I can learn more about Morgan. Just by her first impressions and looks she seems suspicious and skeptical.

As we eat our breakfast together, I began to ask questions about her. "Who are you and how did you know about me?"

"My name is Morgan Evergreen, and our father is right, we look identical, don't we? Of course, after hearing about my sister I decided to look for you wherein I ended up knowing that you became a member of Team Rocket. I'm not against the organization, so rest assured that I won't call the cops on you." She explains while taking a sip from her hot brewed coffee.

"Sister? I have no sister, who are you?"

"That's fine if you don't want to believe me, anyways... Our parents want to meet you again."

"Parents? Impossible. First of all, I only have a mother who runs the Saffron Orphanage. Second, Team Rocket isn't an evil organization. Third, it's impossible for you to be my sister." I enrage.

"Why don't you come with me? I can show you our parents if you'd like?"

"Didn't you hear what I've said?! I have no sister, I'm sorry but maybe I'm the wrong person you're looking for." I utter with an inclined tone as I stand up, preparing to leave the cafe.

"Listen, you can trust me for I am an Evergreen too. You may not seem to be familiar with me because our parents left you at the orphanage when you were just a mere child right?

Please come with me and they will explain everything you wish to know with a sincere heart. They left you for a reason." Morgan pleads and grabs my shoulder.

"For a reason? Hmph, you wish! They left me because of how idiotic I'll be when I stay with them. What do they want now?! To return to them as a lost child and make up a dozen excuses?." I lose control over my body then whacked the table in front of her eyes.

"Please calm your rage. You will know the truth once we get there. Come with me and you will understand. There is no need to be angry in the past." Morgan reassures.

"I do not want to meet the ones who left me! You are not my sister and never will you be!"

"Luna, we're in a public place, tone down your voice. Please just come and meet them. I promise you won't regret it." Morgan pleads.

Resentment shrouds me after knowing that she knows about my past. I have no intention of meeting "my" parents however for I am angry at them. As for the woman who claims to be my sister, she seems persistent on pleading me to come with her.

I agreed to come with her not to meet my parents but to know if she is really my sister. If I do meet my parents, I will show them how I felt after knowing that they've abandoned me only because of a mere disorder.

"Fine. I will come with you, but only to know if you're my true sister."

"And what if I am?" She giggles.

"Pfft! Hurry up, you're starting to waste my time." I enrage and left the cafe, waiting for her to meet me outside. My mind couldn't wait to release all the stored up anger.

I want to know the truth behind my past and my real family. Who are my parents? And what is the real purpose behind my abandonment? Could this day get any worse?
