Chongyun: A promise from master to disciple

I never had a home for years.

For as long as I remember I was traveling with my master all around the world learning different martial arts…training people.

Every time I asked him why we did that to which he said

"It's my promise to my master…

We are blessed with a special power that makes us stronger and different than others. So this is our responsibility to teach this to other and prepare for a day when doom comes"

His master's last wish was that he passes on his techniques to the people he finds worthy.

Now…my master is old but still hasn't stopped teaching martial arts.

The day when we parted ways..he asked me " Promise me Chongyun, you will help the people that are blessed with his power to control it and teach them the way of martial arts.

The power of aura must never be extinguished. Someday someone will use this power to change the course of history…"

After parting ways, I started getting fame by defeating trainers and before I knew it, I had become a gym leader.

I could have become an official gym leader but that would have made me very busy and unable to do what I love.

Train myself and train others.

Seeing people practicing in unison brings me satisfaction.

My first student who could control Aura was a child named Asmodeus with a Totodile.

Under my eyes, he grew from a small child to a teen with a Feraligatr.

Can't wait for him and Aoki to meet.

Finally, Aoki's two-week training had ended and he gained a lot.

During that time Misty challenged Chongyun for the Martial badge and won on the second try.

She tried using more water strategy in the first run but lost terribly so she had to resort to psychic strategy with her newly evolved Slowking.

Her Psyduck had made massive improvements in his powers and reached the peak of the intermediate stage after battling continuously in the battle club.

As there was a limit for battles in the battle club which Misty finished in seven days, Misty traveled all around Saffron City challenging every trainer to a battle.

Some even gave her the nickname 'Water Maniac' and avoided her.

Today Aoki had decided to finally evolve his Charmelen, Clefairy, and Nidorino.

Aoki was not ready to evolve Charmeleon at first but after seeing the improvements, Aoki deiced to let him evolve too.

In the entire two-week duration, Charmelon practiced his overdrive mode and took it to a very satisfactory level.

In those two week time, Aoki published more papers on Slowking earning him quite a sum.

In the afternoon, Aoki did some shopping with Misty and hung around in a famous coffee shop.

As he had grasped intent manipulation of aura, his charm and ability to attract attention had increased a lot earning him a lot of stares wherever he went.

In the evening, he got on Pidgeot and flew quite a distance from Saffron City to carry out the evolution.

The thrill Aoki received after flying on the back of Pidgeot was unbelievable.

Moreover, the speed at which Pidgeot could fly was nothing to be scoffed at.

He even saw the breathtaking view of the Sunrise flying above the clouds.

While flying Aoki, saw a pack of Fearows, Swallows, and Pidgeottos flying around but none dared to approach Aoki because of the elite rank energy Pidgeot was releasing.

Sometimes Aoki could not believe he had such amazing Pokemon.

The golden light reflected from the body of Pidgeot made trainers think a rare Pokemon was near Saffron City which started a wave in which trainers in the group started looking for the golden Pokemon.

The light of the full moon fell on the forest illuminating it with a faint glow.

"It's time"

Before starting the process of evolution, Aoki gave a last glance at the data of Darkrai that he created for his Pokedex.

Most of the moves that are displayed on the move pool are learned by Darkrai after observing other Pokemons so Aoki didn't have to buy much T.Ms for him.

Earlier, he planned to use Darkrai for the gym match but decided to keep the presence of Darkrai secret for now.

Aoki walked for a few seconds and reached a small-large hole that was filled with extremely potent Poison of elite-level Victreebell.

Aoki released all of his Pokeballs and asked everyone to take their positions.

Aoki stood in the center, Nidorino dived into the pool of poison, Clefairy stood beside the pond while Charmeleon stood behind Aoki.

Darkrai went towards Nidorino and gave Nidorino two high-grade moonstones to hold, Clefairy the peak-grade Moonstone and Charmeleon one peak-grade Firestone.

As Aoki had commanded previously Clefairy surrounded herself with as much Fairy-type energy as she could while Charmeleon went into overdrive mode.

The rest of the Pokemon surrounded the four of them while maintaining a distance.

Aoki took a deep breath and released the aura that covered all three Pokemon and connected them to him.

Aoki could feel their excitement, gratefulness, and thirst for power and grow stronger.

"Everyone begin !! " Announced Aoki as he forcefully began to transfer a large amount of aura to his Pokemon to strengthen them as much as possible.

Szzzzzz

Immediately all three Pokemon were enveloped in a bright light-blocking everyone's vision.

A few seconds later, Charmeleon's light turned red, Clefairy's pink, and Nidorino's purple.

The light intensified as the figures of the three Pokemons grew larger.

Roar !!!!

With an earthshaking roar, Charmeleon completed the evolution first into Charizard followed by a wave of hot air.

Charizard 3.5 meters tall with Dark orange scales and deep blue wings.

The red flame on his tail burned brightly with shades of red and purple.

Two large fangs and sharp claws on his arms and legs made him look nothing less than a menace.

The new elite-level aura exerted its pressure on Gyarados and Shelgon while Victreebell and Pidgeot responded with their own aura as a greeting.

Roarrr!

With another roar, Nidorino completed his evolution to Nidoking and jumped out of the hole that was now sucked dry.

Nidoking stood at a height of 2.8 meters which was around Victreebell and Pidgeot but the feeling of danger it gave was nothing less than the menacing Charizard standing opposite to him.

His skin was now dark purple with hard sales with a long touch horn. He too reached the beginning of Elite rank like Charizard.

Nidoking and Charizard looked at each other and dashed toward each other colliding in the middle creating a shockwave.

"Not bad kid!!" Charizard roared.

"Who are you calling a kid huh!! Seems like I need to teach the overgrown lizard a lesson " Nidorking roared back.

Both of them had crazy smiles and could not wait to test out their new power.

Boom!

Finally, the pink light faded as everyone felt the force of intense Gravity on them while Charizard and Nidoking got pressed to the ground unable to move a single muscle.

Clefairy had completed her evolution and evolved to Clefable standing at a height of 2 meters.

Clefable now had long ears and a wing-like structure behind her back, and a curly cute tail.

And most importantly the first recorded elite rank was Clefable.

"Quiet down you two!!!

Starting as soon as you evolved…show some decency !!"

Pidgeot and Victreebell burst out laughing seeing the condition of Charizard and Nidoking.

A smile bloomed on the face of Aoki as he thought ' Big sister of the squad indeed'

His Pokemon had come a long way.

From a Bellsprout that was scared to die in the wild to a Victreebel that can influence nature itself and create plant life.

From a Pidgey who was kicked out from the pack to a majestic Pidgeot who is capable of commanding a pack more than 10 times larger than the previous one.

From a Charmander who was abandoned because he was weak to a powerful fire-breathing Dragon who can bring calamity.

From a Gyarados who was tortured and taken away everything from finding mental peace and a family.

From a Nidoran who wanted recognition from his squad to a Nidoking that can defeat his entire squad in under five minutes.

From a Clefairy who just played around to a responsible Clefable who constantly takes care of everyone in her new family.

Darkrai, who had once killed thousands changed to someone who wants to bring peace.

From a Bagon who just wanted affection and attention to a Shelgon with a desire to become strong to protect his companions.

Everyone had a share of difficulties in life some minor while some major.

That is what made them reach the stage they are at.
