Chapter 49 - To South Boulevard, Lumiose City

"Come out."

Zeraora came out of the pokeball and looked at the girl sitting opposite to Itsuki. Zeraora narrowed her eyes and looked at Serena with cautiously. Zeraora felt that she needed to protect her master from this girl. 'This girl is dangerous I have to make sure Master doesn't fall for her. I have to keep my eyes on her.' Zera thought in her mind as she kept staring at Serena.

Meanwhile Serena as a women felt her sixth sense was warning her that Itsuki's Pokémon could become a threat to her.

' I have to be careful around her.' Serena thought as she maintained eye contact with Zera.

"Itsuki what Pokémon is she?" Serena asked while looking at Zera. Serena has to admit Zera is really pretty, she might be one of the most prettiest Pokémon Serena have ever seen.

Itsuki could feel some tension between Zera and Serena but as a man he couldn't find what factor was causing this tension between them."Her name is Zeraora. She is a mythical Pokémon from Alola region and she is also my starter Pokémon."

Serena eyes widened and her heartbeat increased hearing that Zera was a mythical Pokémon. One has to know how rare a Mythical Pokémon is and using a Mythical Pokémon as starting Pokémon is something no one has heard of.

Zera seeing Serena's reaction proudly smirked. "Zera meet Serena my childhood friend whom I met during summer camp." Zera's smile stiffened. Hearing Itsuki words she knew that Serena had known Itsuki longer than her. The danger Zera felt from Serena increased by few levels.

Now it was Serena who was proudly smiling and looking at Zera. Zera didn't like Serena's proud look, she snorted and went back to her pokeball on her own.

"This is the first time Zera has ever went to her pokeball on her own." Itsuki couldn't understand the reason for both Zera and Serena to disliking each other.

"Itsuki are you going to participate at the Kalos League?" Serena looked very excited. 'If Itsuki really joins Kalos league then I can travel with him. Kyaaaa I can't wait to travel with Itsuki.' Serena looked at Itsuki with lots of expectations.

Itsuki shook his head with a smile and said."In 40 days, Kanto League is going to start and I am participating in the League. So maybe after Kanto League I might join the Kalos League." Even Itsuki wasn't sure which league he was going to join after Kanto league.

"Ohhh!" Serena looked little disappointed. But she quickly cheered herself thinking that Itsuki will came back to Kalos after Kanto league. Itsuki could see various expressions on Serena's face. Itsuki was looking at her face anf thinking how beautiful she was." By the way, Serena do you want me to accompany you to meet Professor Sycamore?" Itsuki also wanted to use this chance to build connections with Sycamore. Sycamore and Oak was only knew each other as their region best professor. Oak particularly didn't had any connections with Sycamore.

Serena saw no problem with Itsuki accompanying her, in fact she was very happy that she could spend more time with him. "Sure but then what about your meeting?" Serena then remembered that Itsuki had a meeting with his company's CEO today. "If you want I can wait for you at a coffee shop." Serena didn't wanted to disturb Itsuki in his meeting so she suggested waiting for Itsuki.

Itsuki shook his head and said. "It's fine. You can just came with me and wait in the office until I finish my meeting. The meeting shouldn't take that much time." Serena nodded her head but inside she was very happy to go to Itsuki company with Itsuki.

"So Serena what do you want to become in future?" Itsuki asked her about her dream. Serena was lost in her thoughts for few minutes, after few minutes Serena showed a smile and said. "I don't know. I don't plan on becoming a Pokémon Trainer, I think that Pokémon trainer is meant for me but I want to become something big. For now, I just want to travel and find my dream. Itsuki my mother always has wanted me to become a Rhyhorn racer, she wants me to walk on her path. But I don't want to do it, I want to walk on a different path. And I believe that my path is going to be more awesome than my mom."

"I am supporting you. Do what your heart wishes you to do. I think as human beings we have the right to choose our own path." Itsuki words made Serena smile.

"So what about you Itsuki? How many badges do you have collected?" Serena asked.

"I have collected 4 badges already. I am sure I can collect 4 more badges before Indigo League." Serena really Itsuki confident and positive look.

On their journey, Itsuki and Serena talked about many things that happened in their life. Serena life was mostly filled with boring Rhyhorn training nothing compared to Itsuki. Serena finished her school 3 months ago and now was waiting to get her 1st Pokémon and go on a journey.

After few hours later, Serena and Itsuki arrived at the Lumiose city.

Lumiose City is the main city in the Kalos region. It contains the fifth Gym the player character challenges, which specializes in Electric-type Gym and is led by Clemont. Lumiose City is the largest and most populated city in the Pokémon world. Lumiose city is one of the most safest city in the Kalos. Lumiose City has a unique structural design. It is a big, circular city that is divided into multiple sections. there are numerous alleys running across the avenues and the two boulevards. At the center of Lumiose city is the Prism tower, standing high and could be seen from anywhere in the city. The tower is the the thunder gym of Lumiose city.

"Wow" Finn has seen Lumiose City in the anime but he have to say that the animation couldn't fully display the beauty of Lumiose City. People and Pokemon was walking side by side, roads was full of car, everything was properly managed and arrange. In short Lumiose City gave Itsuki a futuristic vibe.

"I have never came to Lumiose city but coming here I have to say why everything in this is so expensive." Itsuki looked at Serena in confusion.

"You see, a while ago I wanted to settle in Lumiose city but Mom told me that the house price in the city is very expensive almost 2 times the price when compared to other cities. Mom said that Lumiose city is the most safest, well developed and beautiful city in Kalos. Not only that Lumiose is also a tourist and a business attraction city. So everything here is expensive." Itsuki nodded.

"Mom was also reluctant to leave our current home so I didn't force her to shift our home anymore."

"So Itsuki where are we going now?" Serena asked whiling walking with Itsuki. Serena noticed many girls in the street would look at Itsuki and some girls was even glaring at Serena. Fortunately Itsuki never looked at those girls and Serena also glared back at the girls who glared at her.

"South Boulevard, Located near the east end of South Boulevard is the headquarter of Azure Industry. Professor Sycamore Lab is located at the Vernal Avenue." Serena thought Itsuki knew all this because he had researched about Lumiose city before coming here but in reality Itsuki was just using the system's help to answer Serena's question.

"Taxi" Itsuki stopped a cab. Both Serena and Itsuki took a cab to reach at the east end of South Boulevard. After paying the fare, Itsuki and Serena stood in front of a building which was about 14 feet building, 10 floors. The building design and everything was average but there was a big logo of their company's name. Itsuki was not expecting his new company's Headquarter to look like this. 'I guess I will have to upgrade my company's headquarter in near future.'

"Let go inside." Serena nodded and follow Itsuki. Itsuki approached the receptionist.

"How can I help you sir? If you looking to book any appointment then I must say sorry to you. Since today our company's Chairman is going to have a meeting with the CEO." The one spoke was a girl who looked like her age was between 30 to 35.

"My name is Kagami Itsuki and I am the new Chairman and owner of Azure Industry."
