Great Harvest!

Galen could see the aura of any living being, so he knew Colton's intentions weren't good. This was from the time he had arrived and from the time he left.

There were rumors that Colton had joined the [Black Sand Gang]. After all, Colton used a Geodude, so some say this was where he received his starter.

The [Black Sand Gang] was stationed around Viridian City, especially Pewter City. There were many complaints filed about young trainers being robbed and even killed mysteriously.

There was no doubt that the Link Cord was for his Geodude later down the line.

"I advise you to be careful in the future. Colton is a very narrow-minded person, he'll definitely seek revenge sooner or later."

Nathan turned to Galen and warned him of the possible dangers.

"I'll keep that in mind." Galen nodded and continued. "By the way, do the both of you mind showing me your Pokémon?"

Galen wanted to inspect a Pokémon for the very first time. This was also to test something about his eyes—to see if statuses were true.

"Uh, sure, we have no problem with that, but can we bring out our Pokémon here?" Nathan turned toward the security guard before gazing back at Galen.

"Sure. I want to inspect your Pokémon. There's no hostility, so naturally, you're not banned from bringing it out."

Both siblings looked at each other before taking the shrunken Pokéball off each of their waists.

"Come out Nidoran," Both siblings said in unison.

Ni~

Ni~

Galen stared at both Nidoran in amazement before smirking.

'Pokémon are amazing!' After these initial thoughts, he used his ability to inspect them.

_____

'It's true, I can really see the status of a Pokémon!' Galen could see everything from its moveset to aptitude.

'It's like an RPG setting as it is in the game, this is simply amazing.' Rpg's were his favorite type of gaming setting.

Judging from its ability [Poison Point], it was best not to touch this Pokémon. Even if Nidoran didn't hold any hostility toward you, this ability couldn't be controlled.

'It's aptitude is at E-level? Is this good, or is it the worst possible outcome? It sounded bad, anything at this rank for any novel was terrible, but how bad was it?' Galen hadn't realized that he had been staring at Nidoran♂ for a while.

Both Nidoran gazed at Galen with wary eyes—why was this human staring at them like that? However, if Galen had any bad intentions and touched them, then he would be in for a surprise.

Unfortunately for them, Galen could see their abilities and wouldn't dare touch them without protection.

The Nidoran♀ had the same ability and moves as the male. The only difference was her nature, which was that of the Calm nature.

"These two Nidoran are siblings from the same litter, right?" Galen looked to Nathan and Natalie for clarification.

"Yes, they come from the same litter, so they're brother and sister." Natalie and Nathan were stunned and said.

How did Galen figure it out?

It was beyond obvious for several reasons to Galen that they were siblings.

"Alright, I have another favor. Your parents own several acres of land and sell berries, right?"

"Yes, our parents have them shipped out around Kanto. Do you have any interest in purchasing some berries? If you do, then you can just go to a local store and buy them."

Natalie nodded and confirmed.

Galen went on to explain that he wanted them to sell them to him directly for a good price. He hoped that they could gather certain berries and bring them to him.

Galen knew that certain berries weren't sold in Pallet. Only berries that were primarily used for food, such as Sitrus and Oran berries, etc.

They both understood that Galen wanted serious types of berries and agreed. Galen wrote down a list of berries he wanted and the quantity for each one.

"We can have these berries all gathered by tomorrow." Nathan checked the list and said.

"Perfect. I'll be setting up tomorrow as well, so I'll see you then." Galen sent the siblings off with a kind gesture.

"I wanted to ask them about aptitudes, but too many questions may make me look stupid. I'll ask someone at the Alliance Branch about it. They're more than willing to answer my questions if I have any."

Galen checked the money he had made 30 minutes into setting up shop. He couldn't help but smile, this was truly the best outcome.

31,000 Pokédollars!

Afterward, Galen went back to checking the items he had acquired. The item he didn't know about was the Ascension Fruit.

-𝐀𝐬𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐅𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭: A Mysterious Fruit from another realm. This fruit unconditionally raises the aptitude of any Pokémon by one rank.

Galen immediately knew that this fruit was special and absolutely couldn't be revealed to the public.

The only thing Galen knew about aptitude was that you could raise it through certain means. One was through a strict nutritious diet, vitamin drinks such as Protein, Iron, etc.

Certain items would help as well, such as Steelix consuming rich metals—such as Metal Coats. Though its aptitude wouldn't rise to the next level right away, it would over time if this diet was consistent.

However, Metal coats were even rarer than the evolutionary stones, so who could have such a supply?

"I need to get a Pokémon, the sooner the better." Galen didn't plan on staying here from 7 a.m. until the market's closing time.

"I'll stay until 1 p.m. before closing down my stall." He already made so much money today with three sales, this in itself, was good enough.

Galen silently waited alone, he could hear other stalls next to him selling things. They were selling summer clothes, umbrellas, etc.

Galen went over and purchased an umbrella for this rainy season. This umbrella was black and had Umbreon on it.

"Gwen said it was supposed to start raining around 12:00 p.m. or 12:10 p.m. today." One could say that this umbrella came at the right time.

Unfortunately, Galen had to break a 100 Pokédollar bill. Once again, he sat down and waited patiently and comfortably in his chair.

Time passed as the market started to gain a series amount of traffic. More customers came in and purchased some stones.

A middle-aged man purchased one Thunderstone and Firestone before leaving satisfied.

Eventually, another middle-aged man walked over. He was wearing a formal black suit, his eyes were sharp and serious.

The man asked for one of each evolutionary item Galen had. He paid Galen with nothing but ₽1000 banknotes.

The man was generous and gave Galen a tip by letting him keep the change of ₽500! Galen was overjoyed, this was the happiest he'd felt in a while.

The formally dressed man was also here to test if Galen was selling real items. If his items were fake, he would have been apprehended immediately.

The formally dressed man left satisfied after confirming that the goods were real. There were some people running scams in the past, which got them thrown in jail for a long time.

This man wasn't simple!

"Hey, hey... pant... do you still have the Leafstone on sale?" Just as Galen was lavishing to himself, he heard a familiar voice

"Oh, you're that glasses kid from earlier. It took you this long to get the money, or do you still not have it?"

This kid was his first customer, but he didn't have the funds on him last time.

"No! I have the money, so I'm wondering if they're still being sold." Westley adjusted his glasses and asked anxiously.

"Oh, no, we're fresh out. If only you had come sooner. Well, not everyone can be a winner, maybe next time." Galen sighed and said playfully, as his eyes formed in crescents.

"What?! No way, they've been sold out that fast?!" Westley almost blacked out when he heard the news.

"Haha, just kidding, I still have some up for sale. The price is still the same as it was in the morning."

Galen was amused seeing Westley's reaction, he reminded him of a kid he knew back in high school.

"Oh, my goodness! I thought I was going to have a heart attack!" Westley was scared nearly to death hearing the news.

Galen reached under the counter and 'pulled' out a Leafstone.

Westley was elated and quickly exchanged for it. He had begged his parents for this money, so they went to the bank to withdraw the money.

They had been saving this money for him since he was an infant.

Galen accepted the money, but he couldn't guess who he would use the stone on. It was none of his business, so he didn't ask.

Galen only knew it had to be either Oddish, Bellsprout, Eevee, or Exeggcute.

Thank you so much, I really appreciate this." Westley thanked Galen sincerely, this, like the ones after him were worried about evolution stones.

"No problem, just business." Galen smiled and said his usual line.

"Nonetheless, I will remember this reward." Westley left soon after.

With Westley gone, Galen could now hear the rain outside. It was already 12:31 p.m., so the time for him the leave nearing.

They still had some decent traffic, but not as much as it normally had. This was for obvious reasons, but it was okay to Galen since he'd already made so much.

"Hehe, I've made 81,992 Pokédollars in almost Five hours! If it was this easy to make money back in my old world, life would have been so much easier."

Originally, Galen had made ₽82,000 but he spent ₽8 on an umbrella.

Time passed, but no matter how much time passed—Galen couldn't stop looking at his money.

The time finally ended, it was time for him to leave. Galen spoke to the owner and booked the same unit for tomorrow. He had to pay double to reserve his unit, which was no problem for him.

Arriving so early in the morning was troublesome to Galen, so he chose to open shop at 9 a.m. the next day.

Galen bought two more umbrellas and three raincoats, which were for his sister and brother. As for the extra raincoat, it was for him. Of course, he bought the matching Umbreon raincoat that went with his umbrella.

The owner said he would take down Galen's sign, so he didn't have to worry about it.

Afterward, Galen left the scene, but what he didn't know was—someone had arrived as the sign was being taken down.

"Hey, what's going on? Why are you taking that sign down? Have all the goods on that sign been sold out?"

"Huh?" The owner looked up to see three people gazing at him questioningly. There were two teen boys and one teen girl around fifteen or sixteen years of age.

"I don't think so." The owner shook his head.

"Then why are you taking it down?" The boy's expression didn't look so good.

Right as the owner was about to answer, another group of teens came over with questioning expressions.

'What the hell is going on?' The owner's mouth twitched fiercely under the glares of the teens.
