To be honest, I don't really know what's going on. These days everything is strange happening to me. And here is another strange situation I am in.

The lady,in front of me, looked at her watch and she was kinda in a hurry. Then she stared at me, waiting for my reply. I don't really understand what's going on. The lady looks like a cool beauty. She looks really serious. She looks so beautiful that she can compete with the Goddess of beauty. I am pretty sure she would win. On top of that, she is damn rich. I can easily tell by seeing her appearance. Her watch looks pretty damn expensive.

"Mama. Please don't go. I promise, I will be a good boy." Into the empty street, a boy was crying loudly. He looks really cute. He looks so cute that anyone would love to kiss him. His eyes enhanced his cuteness by a thousandfold.

"I am sorry, Sei-kun. Mama has to go. But don't worry mama will see you once you awaken your power. I am really sorry. I am really a bad mama. I do know that from now on, you will have a hard time living your life. But I am pretty sure you will manage it. You are brave. You are my child."

In front of him, his mother was also crying. She doesn't want to go but she has to. For the last time, she hugged her child and kissed his forehead.

"I will be a good boy. Please, mama. I beg you."

Hearing his begging, her eyes got filled with tears.

"I am sorry, Sei-kun. I know you will never forgive me for what I have done to you. But can you please promise me one thing? Don't ever let anyone see your eyes. Always cover your eyes with bangs."

Saying that mother kissed his forehead once again. After that, she took her bag and started to walk away.

"Mama... Mama.." The boy tries to chase her. But his vision started to get darker and darker.

I woke up. I found myself in my usual room. Nothing changed to be honest. Usual ceiling,usual bed and usual dream. No, it's not a dream. It's a nightmare. I don't know why it bothers me so much even after so many years. Yeah, that day all of a sudden, my mother abandoned me. The only family member I had was my mother. My father had left me and my mother when I was still a baby. My whole world revolves around my mother. She was kind and caring. I don't know anything about my relatives. My mother and my father fell for each other and they ran away from their family and got married to each other. So, I don't really know if I have any relatives. One day, when I was eight years old, my mother left me all of a sudden. All I had was a pretty old apartment that my mother owned. I was totally alone in this world all of a sudden. I can still remember crying countless nights. I know the pain of being hungry. I do know how the grass tastes.

Well, that's something old now. I am now a high school student because of a certain angel. She gave me a job and now I do earn enough money to fill my stomach.

"Let's see... Now it's perfect." After covering my eyes with my long hair, I feel like I am ready to go to school. To be honest, I look like a nerd when I cover my eyes. But still I had to do it. I have promised my mother that I would do anything for not letting others notice my eyes.

I don't understand why mom asked me to hide my eyes. It's not like it's something strange. Yeah, I do think my eyes are blue and they are beautiful but it's not like it's something strange. I do know that foreigners do have blue eyes. Then what's so different about my eyes. I don't really know. After getting ready, I went to the school.

"Lie!... Don't tell me, it's true." One of the girls in my class loudly spoke in surprise.

"*SHEEE... Everyone's going to hear." Another girl tried to stop her.

I was simply sitting on my bench. I tried to focus on the light novel I have in my hand. But to be honest,I can't concentrate because of how loud they are. Yet, I don't have the courage to stop them. They are at the top of the castle and I am just a normal nerdy guy.

"I have never ever imagined that Emi would say yes to his confession." one of the girls said in surprise.

"What!"

"Huh! What's wrong?"

I unconsciously made a mistake. I have never thought that Yoshinaga Emi would do something like that. Yoshinaga Emi is one of the most beautiful girls in my grade. She is cute and charming. What's more, she is kind. She treats everyone equally. Even though I look pretty much like a trash box, she never treats me like a bad looking guy. She would always smile at me and talk as if I am a normal guy. That's why I fell for her. She is just an angel.

"Seikun-san, What's wrong?" I heard a beautiful yet familiar voice. I turned around and saw a beautiful pink haired beauty looking at me in her confused eyes.

Yeah, it's Emi. Yoshinaga Emi. She has just entered the classroom through the back door.

"Y-Yoshinaga-san, is it t-true that you are dating someone?"I asked while getting tensed.

She looked kinda uncomfortable hearing my question. She looked around. Everyone was looking at her curiously. They even started to gossiping. Mostly filled with how dirty and bad looking I am. But ignoring their gossips, I asked Emi again," Is it true, Yoshinaga-san?"

She finally looked at me and smiled. After that, she revealed was something truly shocking.

"Yeah. Yesterday, Takeda-senpai confessed to Emi. So, Emi accepted his request. After all, it's hard to find a handsome person like him. Emi is really happy that someone like him is my boyfriend."

I don't know why, one drop of tear fell from my eyes. I wasn't ready to hear something like that. The person I liked was already dating the most handsome guy in our school. I started feeling like the whole world is broken. I started feeling like it's really unfair. Really, why am I living after hearing that? My last ray of light just disappeared all of a sudden. Isn't it alright if I die?
