Pathway To Peace

"I love you Aki..no matter what happens just know that I will always try my best to be by your side. No matter what" The smiling lady said to Akihito as she held him close in her arms, embracing every part of him as he looked up at her surprised.

Akihito noticed she said that she would try her best rather than just do it which was a bit different than how she would usually talk to him.

She heard a knock at the door and immediately got up and looked over.

"a-alright Aki go to your room now..I have some things to do I love you" the little boy didn't know what was happening but he did know that everytime there was a knock at the door he sensed fear in his moms soul..and hatred.

The little boy scurried into his room and closed the door, watching some cartoons on their television when he suddenly heard glass shattering and the sound echoing in his ears until it eventually stopped.

The boy ran into the living room only to find his mother collapsed on the floor with broken, shattered, and blood stained glass on the floor

"M-mom..mom!" The boy screamed, only to no response

~10 years later~

Akihito Rises up from sleep, from a bad dream. Breathing heavily and sweating "c-crap what time is it?!" He looks at his clock and immediately jumps out of bed then began getting dressed. Getting dressed in a regular T-shirt and jeans. He looks at the picture of his mom and him on his nightstand and sighs.

Akihito smiles then runs out of his room, quickly running down the steps and jumping from the 4th one down to the floor. Akihito then runs to the front door "bye grandma!"

"Akihito one thing..stay safe okay? I know your mother would want that more than anything. And I know that she's watching you right now..so make her proud" Akihitos grandmother says before he nods and runs out of the door.

Akihito was running fast, huffing and puffing as he wanted to make his way to the starting line. This was the start he wanted and the path he taken to get revenge on his father.

There were a bunch of people, some who appeared dangerous and others who appeared weak but he didn't want that to distract him. People were looking at him and whispering about him. He tried to get the noise out of his head but struggled. He already knew what they were talking about, and it was something that he most definitely wasn't proud of.

"Is everyone ready! I must warn you what you are about to experience is absolute hell and you may not make it out alive" one of the announcers said. "Whoever makes it past all of these levels will have to face the king..and if you win, you will become the next king! But just so you know there's no going back this time. So ready. Set. Go!"

Akihito wondered what he meant but he had determination and hatred in his eyes "This is the start..the start to avenging my mother." Akihito and everyone else was then transported into another place, separated from eachother. "What the.." this place seemed like a new world to him, everything seemed magical.

There were people and markets selling items, that he had never seen before. Birds that seemed a lot bigger and a world that seemed magical. He had no clue of what would happen, but he did know he was ready for it.
