Zack's POV

Zack threw his shirt into the bag carelessly, picking up another piece of cloth and doing the same with it. The room was not in its usual tidy state, reflecting the chaos that has been in his mind for the last few weeks. Ever since Elize had left for the faery kingdom, he hadn't slept much. He spent hours waiting in front of her hostel, hoping that she'd appear on her balcony magically. 

The days were long and the nights longer than he could bear. Zack held on to the pouch she had left behind with her necklace. Though he didn't believe in things like destiny, that stone was the only thing that was left of her with him. He yearned to see the smile on her face once again- like the one she had when she told them that they were destined to be together. He missed her touch, the way the subtle warmth of her skin could turn into a fiery hot sensation that left him helpless.
