THE PREPARATION

For 2 years we've been happy together, slowly the hole in my heart, started to reform into a whole new one. And that's when I thought that maybe it would be the perfect time to make a new life with her.

On our second anniversary as couple, I took her out of town. Most popular for its bounty edible fish and shellfish. I told Lacey that it would be a 1 week vacation for our anniversary and she instantly loved the idea. One of my dear friends suggested that it would be nice to put the set up in a growing famous Island in Western Visayas, it's quite another version of Boracay as they say, only that it's less crowded. It sounds nice and mellow for that matter, and that I'm sure Lacey would love the place. Our scheduled flight was Tuesday 3 pm, and its almost 1 hour by air. Before the day of our flight, my whole squad went to help me.

Tuesday, Lacey and I went to get our tickets, and while on the plane we were talking stuffs, and then we felt tired, and sleep for awhile, then were off . We were in the Airport waiting for the car that will fetch us. Minutes later we saw the driver who was polite to greet us, and welcomed us to the town. He dropped us, at the Roof Garden, I was fascinated by the place because there was actually an actual garden on the roof so that's how it got the name, and by the way my Lacey was in awe, knowing about her, she love the place. We decided to rest and spend the night on the rooftop.

Wednesday Morning Lacey and I went to Coco Veranda it is a seafood restaurant near the beach, and this restaurant was built like a hut, the chairs and tables were made of woods, and sure thing the idea of nature seemed to be in our favor. What I like about this place was the fact that you get to choose your own fish! I mean fresh fish! And whatever seafood you like, lobster, crabs, shrimps, name it! So we chose Salmon, it was big for the two of us, but we wanted to try it, so we ordered two. We ordered it to be cooked in sinigang and the other one to be grilled. As we waited, we took pictures, and listened to the band playing for all the costumers, cool thing was that you can request for songs that you like, and they'll play it for you. Lacey getting all excited went there and asked for "It might be you", I took her hand and as we listened to the band while embracing each other.

After 2 more songs our sinigang and grilled salmon have been served, of course with rice drinks and salad for our dessert. After we eat we walked hand in hand near the shore. We also went outside the City, some driver told us about this giant statue of Virgin Mary, in a nearby town, It said that whoever goes there will receive miracle. We decided to go there, so from Coco Veranda we rode a tricycle and when we're at the terminal, the driver told us to ride the yellow bus, and so we rode the yellow bus. I told the driver to drop us at the shrine, so when we were there we quite get fascinated by its magnificence, the thing was really huge, add the fact that before you could reach the top you'll first have to overcome the over hundred stair steps.

We prayed there and bought some candle, wish for good health and long life. As for me, I hoped about the success of my proposal. We went back to the hotel and ride the yellow bus again, we were so tired we didn't bother to order for our dinner. At sunrise, we packed our things because we decided to go in this place they call, Mountain Valley, there was this falls that everyone foster with pride. It's actually in the same town where the Shrine is located.

On that day , Bea and Justin already arrived, and so the four of us went to altogether to see with our own eyes the falls, that we could never have fault as a shower. . . . (ok that was corny). And yes indeed, it should be taken with pride, because the thing is just paradise.

We enjoyed the cold water, and we kept on taking pictures. So after the falls escapade, we went to an old famous Church, I've seen this church in one of the catalogues from Aunt Cameron's office. This church was quite ancient, since it has been there since Spanish period, we went inside as someone escorted us upstairs, he showed us the famous bell or the "Kampana" which was as old as it looks, and as huge as it sounds. It is big. (Try to imagine a Toyota car being sliced into two, then you get the other half and turn it into a stone, then you get a firm unbreakable hook and unbreakable chain, hook it around the halved stone car and ta-da! you get the picture!) after that we went into a well, just beside the church, and tossed a coin. One of the people there told us that if you toss a coin, your wish will be granted, so the four of us tried it. I don't really believe in luck, but there's no harm in trying. Right?

It was almost 5:30 in the afternoon when we went back to the hotel. Anyways we ate our lunch in the Mountain Valley, so it was almost afternoon when we went to Panay Church. We rest in our rooms , (we asked for another room, so by this time, the two girls were together, sad) At 10:30 we went to Soul Grandville, and we went partying! We were enjoying the music and drinks, and I never thought Lacey could dance that way, and like the music "she turned me on" more than ever.
