Chapter 4

"Now! We need to kill that thing before it can regenerate!"

I shout at Bamboo as he swings his hammer at the giant undead in front of us. I cast many spells at once and see my mana drained from all the spells I release. However, it is enough to kill the undead.

When I see the undead fall to the ground, I release a sigh and say.

"Holy moly! That was hard."

"Yeah," Bamboo falls to the ground while releasing a sigh. "If not for your angels, we are toast."

Yeah. Lucky for me, I already saved some angels using {Celestial's Guardian} to act as a tank for us. Bamboo has high HP, but his defense is not good. He said that the reason why he put a lot of HP is because the anvil and burner he uses will hurt him every ten seconds when he uses it to craft weapons or armor.

"Let's wait here for a minute. The monster will spawn in ninety seconds; a minute should be enough for us to recover."

"Yeah. That is a good idea. You should summon more angels and store these inside your skill."

"You are right. However, let me heal them first."

Any summoned creatures I store will not heal while still stored inside the skill. Not only that but their skill cooldown and mana will also not be restored. Because of this, I would rather store fresh, newly summoned creatures, but I cannot do that now.

If I store a fresh angel, it will take time to summon a new one. I would rather have numbers in this dungeon because there are a lot of mobs and only two of us.

I shake my head and cast a spell.

"{Healing Wind}!"

I cast an AOE healing spell to heal my angels, and when they are in full health, I nod and store them in my skill. I nod and look at Bamboo.

"Are you ready? We are in front of the boss room, after all."

"Of course. Let's do this."

I nod and open the door. We can see a massive throne room with a giant throne on the end of it. However, what is sitting on it that catches our attention is the one sitting on the throne. What is sitting on the throne is a giant skeleton. 

{Khorm, The Giant (BOSS)}

When we get close to the throne, the giant skeleton gets up from its seat and roars at us. The boss takes the massive cleaver sitting next to the throne and starts to charge at us.

"{Summon Angel 2nd Tier}!"

Five angels appear in front of me, and I quickly tell one of them to cast their skill. The boss changes its direction and attacks one of the angels.

*BOOM*

"Holy shit!"

I shout in surprise when I see my angel almost die from getting hit once by the boss.

"{Healing Light}!"

I cast a burst healing spell at my summoned creature and ordered the others to attack the giant undead.

"{Holy Arrow}! Bamboo! Do burst damage!"

"Roger!"

He removes four bombs from his inventory and throws them at the boss. Because of my angel aggroing the boss, Bamboo and I can deal as much damage as possible, but when the countdown in my head reaches zero, I shout.

"Activate your skill!"

One of my angels activated its skill and got another aggro on the boss. The {Angel Guardian} has an ability called {Guardian Light} that aggro all mobs, including the boss monster, in the area around it for seven seconds.

The only downside is the cooldown of this skill, which takes four minutes. Lucky for me, each angel I summon can use this skill.

"Bamboo, tank! I will heal!"

"Roger!"

I need to ensure the other angels have their cooldown ready by using Bamboo as the tank and DPS to aggro the boss away from my summoned creatures.

"Focus on hitting! Leave your survival to me."

"Got it!"

I point my wand at him and cast healing spells.

"{Healing Spirit}!"

A small fairy appears before me, and I command it to heal Bamboo. It is a healing-per-second spell that lasts for four minutes. The healing power is not a lot, but with bonus healing from my equipment, it is quite a lot of HP per second.

"{Holy Aura}!"

I give Bamboo a buff that boosts his defense and gives a small burst of healing. I twitch a little when I see his HP stuck in the middle of the bar, but I learned a long time ago that a healer's job is to ensure the others survive and not to ensure their HP is full.

After my countdown reaches a minute, I order my angel to use its skill.

"Bamboo! DPS! I will focus on healing."

"Roger!"

Bamboo jumps away and takes out his bombs once again. The bomb he uses can hurt himself, and that is why he uses his hammer to do DPS when he is in the vanguard position. So when he gets the distance between the boss and himself, he takes all his bombs from his inventory.

I make sure to control the angel so they will get away from the bomb coming at the boss but close enough not to break the aggro. Seeing the situation, I decide to summon the other angels I store.

"{Celestial's Guardian}!"

With the rest of the angels joining the fight, the damage output overwhelms the boss.

It takes us fifteen minutes of constant fighting before the boss is finally down. I release a sigh and drop to the ground. That was close. I only have two [Angel Guardian] left, and I don't think Bamboo can take that much damage while I recover my mana.

"That was tough."

"Yeah. Lucky for me, you are here. You have great damage output, Bamboo."

"Yeah, at the cost of my gold. I made all that bomb using gold, you know?"

"How much per bomb?"

"Around three hundred golds, depending on my luck. Even with my job, the chance of exploding is still there."

"I see. Three hundred golds, huh? Any restrictions?"

"Only crafter class can use this."

"Haaaa. It's such a shame. I want one or two of those bombs."

Bamboo gets up from the ground and says.

"Anyway! Let's loot the dungeon!"

"You are right."

The two of us walk toward the two chests that appear at the end of the room with our name for each chest. I open the chest on the left and Bamboo on the right. I can see a list of goodies inside my inventory, but one thing catches my attention.

{Crown of the Seventh Heaven} {Quest Item}

I blink a little at the name of the crown, but before I can read its description, another panel appears before me.

[Empty Throne of Heaven] [Grand Quest]

[The king above the sky is empty, for the previous king is dead at the hand of his own son. You who carry the will of the first Celestial shall reclaim the throne. Go forth and conquer the First Heaven and defeat Demon of Lust, Asmodeus]

[Requirement: Min. Party of 4]

I frown a little at the last part and look at Bamboo.

"Do you know a friend that is willing to come with me and help me complete my quest? I am willing to pay."

"I know a few people. What kind of dungeon do we need to conquer?"

"Heaven."

"What?"
