Origins: Tower of Babel

A long time ago, the world is not divided by races and kingdoms nor nations. The people are one as a whole and they are showered by peace and prosperity that graced that land for a very long time. Everything is perfect, there are not a single sign of greed nor wickedness in the eyes of the people. Everyone is equal in the land, no one is rich and no one is poor. It is a paradise that anyone would want to live in for the rest of their lives.

               But everything in the world is not permanent. The once peaceful land is slowly getting consumed by darkness, the people started to act selfish and friends turn against their friends. The people have been corrupted, and some of them even started to kill each other. There are some that died and there are some that survived.

               The survivors all confessed about someone or something whispering to their ears to kill the person that they are facing, and so they did. This terrifies all the people after hearing what had actually happened. The ones that thinks that they are at the top tries to dismiss the confession as something that liars would say but the confession of a lot of people made that plan fail the same time it rose. Making all of them doubt each other even more.

                The uneasiness did not easily disappear due to everything that happened after the recent incidents that had occurred. But surprisingly, nothing happened after that day and the peace somehow returned to the land though it was only for a moment when all of the sudden, on a certain day when the people are starting to return to how they lived in the past, a chilling discovery strike fear in the hearts of all the people living in the land.

One of the farmers that were cleaning the field found a corpse that resembles that of a man but without it's legs and arms, the body is so mutilated that the face is not even recognizable. The terror of seeing the body made the farmer faint even before he can even tell the others about it and by the time they arrived, it was already late in the afternoon and thought that the farmer was the one that did that to the man.

He defended himself and explains that he saw the body earlier and fainted, some of the people finds this odd since he is the only one on the field that day but some of the farmers that are near his house defended him, saying that it was his turn to look after the field that day. Because of that, the suspicion and doubts about the farmer dispersed.

It is then when everyone is speculating about the death of the mutilated person that, an accident involving the coachers and the stables. The people run towards the stables and finds blood scattered all around the place and a mutilated arm of a man lies on the ground. None of them knew how to fight but because of the problem that is posing like a big threat to their lives, the men grabbed all the things that they think they can use to defend themselves.

They all hesitantly entered the stables and find themselves looking at the stable covered in blood. Screams of terror echoed throughout the entire stable and scared away all of the people who are waiting outside for the results.

Inside the stable, all of the people that went inside opened the doors to let out the stench of blood and to get some light inside. At one of the corner of the stable, a farmer sees something moving. It doesn't take the shape of a man nor an animal. Seeing the creature alone made the farmer froze in fear that he could not let out the slightest sound to alert all the others inside the stable who are looking any surviving horses.

The creature locks its sights on the farmer and is ready to pounce anytime when all of the sudden, one of the other people that entered the stable saw the farmer who turned terribly pale, he immediately knew that something was wrong and turns to look at the direction where the farmer is staring the entire time and sees a creature that he have not seen before. The man is a hunter so he quickly recovered from the shock and manage to save the farmer's life before the creature had claimed its next victim.

He screamed and warned everyone of something that is inside the stable and tells them to be careful. His warning only added some confusion to the already confused people but do to their curiosity, they run towards him and sees that he is struggling to keep the creature's claws from piercing his head.

The farmers as well as the coachers immediately run out in terror, leaving only two persons who are hunter just like the one struggling for his life, the farmer that froze in fear just cower on the ground, having a cardiac arrest. Seeing that their comrade's life is in danger, the hunters grab the current weapons they have and swing it towards the creature but it is agile and intelligent enough to evade the attacks.

Finally getting off from the creature's grasp, the hunter joins the fray and fought the creature. In the end, one of the three hunters died after saving the farmer and the creature manage to get away with injuries. The news of the appearance of the creature storm and become the center of concern for the people that lives in the land.

They had an emergency meeting with the monster being their topic. The group of elders as well as the people that have been in contact with the monster lasted for a few hours and in the end, they ultimately decided to reunite once again to hunt the creature down. The elders as well as the most experienced hunters grouped together to take down the creature where it was sighted to have run towards but the group returned empty handed, making the wary of the return of the creature.

The people grew restless as the days go by until finally, their fear gets the better of them and they start to turn on one another after the rumor about someone seeing the creature took the form of one of the people. A lot of people have lost their lives from fighting one another until something magical happened. They are no longer able to understand each other and start to spoke in different languages, making it utterly impossible for everyone to understand another.

Failing to understand the people that they knew for a very long time made them leave the land with the people that speaks their language. The people are divided into three groups that helped each other to rebuild their own kingdom but unbeknownst to them, there is another two group of people, the first one stayed behind and live in the land and the second one is a group of people that traveled to a very far away land and settles in the mountains, completely isolated from the world.

 A few hundred years have passed and the people that left the land had successfully established their own kingdoms, the first group is now called, Nation of Vastra, the kingdom where the people have developed a neutral stand between the three kingdoms. The people here have a good reputation for being open minded about things compared to the other two. The second group had established the nation called Galatea, the people of this nation is the most ruthless out of the three and they value strength more than anything. And the last nation is Orario, the people of this kingdom had settled on the coast. Having the access to all route towards the other kingdoms makes them the center of trade, the three kingdoms had learned to co-exist with each other for a very long time.

Amongst the peace that he three kingdoms are savoring, something happened that changed the course of history yet again, magic appeared. The appearance of people that are able to manipulate the elements and bend reality to their will shook the three nations, bringing the scale of power to tip on one side. At first they kept it from each other and try to explore all the things that they can do with magic but that exploration stops when the rumors about the creature from the legends, the sole reason that made the people leave the land where they used to live in the past, has appeared in one of the forest in the middle of the three kingdoms.

It turns out that the three hunters were separated into the three kingdoms as well, each hunter had created an organization which sole purpose is to eradicate such creatures that appear on the land. With the three organizations hearing the rumors, they did not pass out and march under the banner of their founder in hopes to finally kill the creature that had brought destruction upon their original lands but it did not end as they expected and only secrets were unfold.

Each organization were able to realize that they are not the only kingdoms that were able to use magic, this made every organization turn to each other and just like their ancestors, they returned empty handed without being able to swing their weapons and use their magic against the creature but have brought information about the other kingdoms.

This misunderstanding made the nations turn away from one another for a few years until they have come to an agreement with one another.

More than five hundred years have passed and the three kingdoms had continued on improving with their abilities and the usage of magic but at the same time, more and more unspeakable creatures and monsters have appeared that made them use their magic to the fullest extent. Many people have died in the hands of the monsters that appeared alongside the appearance of magic and it became a norm about the three organizations backed by their own kingdoms to recruit people that have the ability to use magic even to this day.
