Seven continents, governed by seven distinct gods and goddesses, who draw their strength from the high deities that power the universe. Fourteen of them in total. There are seven under the moon and seven beneath the sun. One day, a celestial catastrophy struck the heavens, and five of the deities(two from the moon, and three under the sun) plunged into the earth, never to be seen again. A massive imbalance swirled within the universe. Nights became significantly longer that the days, mortality rates increased, and dangerous creatures that run on nothing but human blood, spawned everyday since. Nathaniel, the youngest of 17 princes in an empire that dominates half of the continent, who grew to become one of the youngest and most prominent inventors, was burdened by the task of protecting his people from said creatures.
