'When can i escape!!!'

'Will i ever escape!!! '

'Will i just die here in torment'

A barely audible choking voice was heard in the room. A dody was lying on the cold floor in the corner of the room which looks like a jail. His hands and legs were tied with handcuffs with long chains in between. He is wearing dirty grey shirt and trousers and has thick golden hair. His hair falls down covering his forehead and eyes.

After some time the man seemed to have calm down a little. He reached out his hands and rubbed his eyes which revealed his lackluster brown eyes. His face appears to be very young like a boy of 14 or 15 years of age, maybe a little too young compared to his size of 1.9 metres, towering even average adults but his eyes looked like a person who has given up on life.

"No.50 to 100 WAKE UP!!! "

A loud voice sounded in the corridor.

The loud voice caused the boy to jerk up to a sitting position which revealed a '54' sign on his back. This is his name here, here nobody bothers to remember your real name unless you are a famous pirate in the sea.

'Is it my turn again'

The boy complained in a low voice but he still stood up. He knows what will happen if he does not comply and does not want to experience it again. He walked up to the hanger in the corner and wore an oversize robe with a hood covering almost every part of his body. After making sure that he is all covered up he walked out of his room which looked like a cell.

There are many such rooms in the corridor. As he walked out of his cell there were already many people in the corridor. Most of them have strong bodies with varying heights; some are as tall as 5 to 6 metres. But all of them have something in common; their eyes are lackluster and they walk like zombies. These people have no hope for the future and their will has already been crushed by this hellish place. But he is different from them, his will is still strong and he believes he will surely escape from this place.

His appearance is just to blend into this group of people. This is one of the lessons he had learnt from living as a slave in this place for the past year. He is not the reckless young man he once was when he first woke up in this world.

Yes, he is not from this world. This world was just a fiction in this previous world, one which he loved to watch. As for how he became a slave here, he was already one when he woke up; a slave at Mary Geoise, the place where the world nobles resided.

Being here for a year is enough to teach him the reality of this world which is far from what he imagined when he first came. There is no love, no dignity, no freedom and certainly no "JUSTICE". This is a world only for those strong and ambitious people. Here you can get everything as long as you are strong enough. The various tortures and sufferings in the past year had awakened him from his previous naive self.

He does not know what year it is but he learnt from the shouting of the jailers that no slave has ever escaped from Mary Geoise. So the riot that Fisher Tiger caused in Mary Geoise has not yet happened. He is waiting for this opportunity to escape from this place.

There is a jailer wearing a black suit waiting at the end of the corridor. He leads them outside the building. It is still dark outside and they have to reach their destination before dawn otherwise the celestial dragons who wake up might shoot them to death if he thinks they pollute his eyes. But this just suits his taste as he does not want to be exposed to sunlight.

Mary Geoise is a beautiful place for those who did not see the darkness behind it. It has beautiful buildings, clean and fresh air, clean streets and there is almost no dirty spot in any corner of the city.

After following the jailer for some time they reach a huge gate and behind it is the hazy shadow of a huge building towering like a hill "PANGEA", the center of power of the world government. There are men in suits guarding the gate. The jailer leads them to the side of the gate, to a small door which leads downwards.

The underground is completely different from the surface. There is a long brick tunnel with many wooden handles hanging down from the ceiling. This is the famous Travelator of Mary Geoise. On the surface the noble will stand on the road and the floor will automatically move to their destination but below it there are many slaves pulling the floor with jailers whipping them.

This is one of his workplace. Every once a week he will be assigned to pull the Travelator. At first he tried to resist but after many whip lashes he learned to hide his feelings and just do his work properly. Today is just another normal day for him.

Pulling the Travelator with so many slaves is not a very hard work for him. There are not many noble visitors coming to Pangea in a normal day. Only during the world conference will there be massive dead of slaves from overwork. And daytime is his strongest time of the day.

According to the memory of this body he is not a pure human. He is the last surviving member of a group who called themselves "Celestials" which led to their annihilation. Others called them death seekers, not because they seek death but because their actions mostly led them to their death.

This race has a powerful ability that as long as the intensity of sunlight increases during the day their strength and recovery also increases. The best of them can reach up to 10 times during the most intense sunlight period. This is like they have a built in mini devil fruit in their body.

If this were the only ability then they could have become one of the strongest races in the One piece world. But sadly not only their strength and recovery increases with sunlight but their arrogance also caught up with it. And unlike their physical property their mental arrogance cannot be directly returned to zero at night and some arrogance always remains in their heart.

This accumulates day and night and finally at some point they become blind with arrogance. As a consequence the whole group was destroyed by the world government. This is a race with an average life expectancy of less than 20 years.

This body fortunately escaped but he still carried the disease of arrogance and was too high profile. Then he got caught by slave traders and was sold to the Celestial Dragons.

When he first woke up he was already in Mary Geoise, in front of a Celestial Dragon holding a red hot Celestial Dragon Hoof sign. It was at noon with the highest sunlight intensity and his body was at the peak of his arrogance and he had just crossed into this world. He cannot control his body and the sudden arrogance, so he opened his mouth and called the Celestial Dragon the famous line "PUNY GOD". Afterwards he has learnt his lessons and is able to control his arrogance. His fellow death seekers seek death because they don't know that their arrogance is harming them but he, from a different world, knows how much damage arrogance can cause, so he is able to maintain clear thinking most of the time.

Nothing happened during the day. They just pulled the Travelator 10 times and it was already night. They just finished their last journey and most of the slaves were breathing heavily. He is no exception this time, he is still a normal person at night.

He thought as walk out of the tunnel. Another new jailer leads them out of the tunnel and brought them to the dining hall for slaves. The food, even for slaves is not too bad in Mary Geoise. It is the uncertainty of life and the various torments of the Celestial Dragons that makes them experience hell.

After dinner the jailer brought them back to their building. As he gets closer to his room he heard the sound of children crying and when he reaches in front of his room it becomes clear that it comes from his room. There is no single room for slaves, his previous roommate died as any normal slave should have.

'I hope it's not someone troublesome. The last guy almost dragged me to hell'

He thought as he opens the door to his room. In the corner of his room there were 3 girls huddling in the corner and crying. One has black hair and the other two have green and orange hair. He thinks he khows exactly who they are. He walks up to them with smile🥴 he thinks is the warmest
