ONE PIECE : King of Heroes

In a small apartment in a bustling metropolitan city, there was a young man who was extremely addicted to a pirate-themed anime. Perhaps the entire world knew about this anime, as it had set a world record with the title ONE PIECE.

MC's POV:

"Sugoi, sugoi, sugoi! So this is Vegapunk, the incredibly mysterious genius scientist in the world. Hahaha! Oda Sensei truly has a unique taste for each of his characters," the young man murmured. After a while, he could only sigh in amazement because, without realizing it, he had finished reading the entire chapter. Damn, it's already night time, time flew by so quickly. Alright, it's time to daydream about entering the world of One Piece.

Ah, such an exciting adventure! right, Luffy! I look forward to visiting the next island 😁. Luffy looked in my direction with a wide, bright smile. Hehehe, I daydreamed about becoming one of the Straw Hat Pirates. Unconsciously, I fell asleep after seeing that smile. But before I succumbed to darkness, I caught a glimpse of Luffy saying something to me, "Yeah, it'll be a fun adventure, C***."

And so, I fell into a deep sleep, unaware that a gas leak had occurred. A small spark ignited a massive explosion that instantly obliterated the entire apartment along with everything inside it.

On a large ship with a black flag depicting a skull, symbolizing the terror it struck into the hearts of anyone who saw it, a ship that plundered whatever it encountered on its visits to various islands. The crew members on this ship were merciless, their thoughts solely focused on profit, money, and treasure. Currently, a wild party was taking place on the ship, with all the members intoxicated and dancing, celebrating their success in terrorizing and looting a valuable island and kidnapping several individuals to be sold as slaves. In a dark and damp cell inside the ship...

"Damn, where am I? Wasn't I just asleep in my room?" the young man wondered. "Why am I suddenly in this dark place? What's happening?" He tried to calm himself down and took a deep breath. He looked around, trying to make sense of the situation. The place was so dark, probably nighttime, and there was a pungent smell in the air. It was damp, and he could see some mold growing on the walls and floor. "Damn, where am I actually? Huh, even though I don't know, one thing that comes to mind about my current condition is: was I kidnapped while I was sleeping?" The thought haunted him. "Damn, as far as I remember, I never provoked anyone. I just work and go straight home, and mostly spend my time reading comics and watching anime. How could someone hate me for this 'no-life' trait of mine? Stay calm, let's calm down."

Suddenly, a headache struck the young man's head. Fragments of memories of a young child spending time inside a house reading books flashed in his mind. Memories of an island in the middle of a vast ocean, filled with a peaceful atmosphere. The people on the island worked with smiles on their faces as the sun shone upon them. Children played, chasing each other with laughter like tinkling bells. The child could only watch these things from behind the window of his house, hesitant and a little afraid to go outside. So the child could only read the books available at home to pass the time.

"Ah, these memories suddenly came to my mind," the young man thought, trying to explain all the nonsensical things happening to him. "Why did I suddenly end up in this absurd place? I never expected something like this to actually happen. Yes, right, I have reincarnated into a character from the anime I usually watch after work. This character only appears at the beginning of the story and a few small episodes to meet the Straw Hat captain."

Only now, after seeing those fragments of memories, did the young man realize that his body had shrunk. He could see everything around him becoming larger. He looked at his own body, then at his thin hands. His body resembled that of Coby. "Sigh, I can only sigh. Something like reincarnating into a fictional character in an anime can really happen. I thought it only happened to people hit by truck-kun and transported to another world, hehehe." The young man tried to focus his thoughts. "Back to the topic, what happened to me? Somehow, I have reincarnated into one of the characters from my favorite anime, One Piece, and I have become Coby. Yes, that's right, the pink-haired, bespectacled kid." And especially the ones that don't make sense, I fully believed I had become Coby, long before the main story began."
