Oh My Omega

In my universe after thousands of years of evolving and experimenting after a war that affected the world, scientists created new humans who were born with what we called the second gender.

This second gender are like how the werewolf romance books appear to be with three classification.

The alphas; they are dominant, intelligent and powerful people whose pheromones can make anyone submit. The stronger the alpha, the stronger their authority among other alphas.

The betas; They are like average humans. They are intelligent to a level and aren't really appreciated that much because they don't possess any special skill unless they have recessive alpha or omega genes. They are also numb to pheromones.

And finally, omegas. The weakest among the rankings. We were made to be bred and increase our population but what other genders thought of us were sluts who were made to spread our legs. Because we were born omegas, most of our families sold or dumped us in the orphanage making survival much more difficult.

Omegas no matter the gender can produce heirs which are intelligent, powerful and strong with alphas that is why we are needed. We also undergo heat for three to seven days every three months depending on your cycle and are given suppressants to calm the effect as we can affect any alpha that isn't mated. We are feminine with small build but we have special omegas who lack the feminine genes.

How do we know our genders?

That's easy. At the age of six in elementary school, we are tested in the hospital and the results are send to our guardians and also classes are set for parents with omegas so has to help take of their children when puberty hits since it is the start of our heat.

My name is Yuki Tomoki and I'm an omega. I was luckily born to a family that loved and cherished omegas. I'm the first omega in my family after my great grandmother and because of that, I'm pampered a lot. Plus being the last child of the family made it worst.

I look a lot like my great-grandmother who had black hair and blue eyes, very feminine and petite but she was calm and gentle why I was naïve, sweet and excited.

I cut my hair short and I wasn't tall like my two elder siblings with a height of five feet four compared to my siblings who are six feet and above.

"Yuki what kind of alpha is your type?" My best friend, Rin, a beta asked as I chewed on the cover of my pen.

"Well he has to be kind and responsible to all omegas. He has to be sweet, understanding, handsome and buy me all the cake and ice-cream I want." I said excitedly before Ron laughed at me.

"I should have known about your sweet tooth. Makes me jealous when you eat a lot of junk and yet you don't even add a kg. I drink water and I'm adding two pounds, no fair!" She complained as she huffed frustratedly making me giggle.

"I guess being an omega has its perk. Fatty." I teased her before she rolled her eyes and we laughed at my irony.

We were still having lunch when we heard screaming from the hallway. I and Rin turned our attention to the hall, not leaving our seats as we saw girls and boys clustering around blocking our view.

It could only be one group that could get the whole block B riled up.

"God I hate those Elite alphas." I said as I opened my carton of strawberry milk and started drinking.

"Why?" Rin asked facing her attention to me as we drowned out the noises of the crowd.

The Elite alphas were students from the block A since alphas were separated from the class.

The stronger the alpha, the higher their ranking in school and position in the classroom called the Elite alphas.

There were some criteria you have to fulfill to enter that class and they included you had to be from a very influential family and you must be in the top ten, if replaced, your either removed or deranked.

My brother and sisters usually told me how to avoid them because they were bad news and they got away with everything and after seeing how they bully the weak even their own alphas. I agreed.

They are just ten in the class and they all come together once in awhile to show face to their ever loving idiots of a fan.

Misaki Asui, her ranking is in the tenth, nothing special except being pretty and a model for a perfume commercial.

Nori Kendo, his ranking ninth, a computer genius who doesn't care about anything.

Elizabeth Willows, her ranking eight, a foreigner who comes from a long line of musical geniuses.

Levi Willows, the elder twin sister of Elizabeth, ranking seventh and is also musically gifted. Where she creates music pieces, Elizabeth plays them.

Akashi Izumi, his ranking sixth and from a family that creates very expensive suppressants for omegas. If government policies didn't favor orphanage, most omegas wouldn't get their good quality easily. His also the vice president of the disciplinary committee.

Arata Shoto, his ranking fifth. His actually kind of cool and is the treasurer of the student council. His family are business tycoons who make beautiful decorations for home.

Hikari Asagiri, his ranking fourth. His the secretary of the students council and can be quite cold and aloof. He is as prideful as a lion but he lives up to his reputation.

Akio Hibiki, his ranking third and the vice president of the student council. His quite an odd looking guy and the only one that I may have a little crush on, after all, we were childhood friends till middle school where discrimination of genders began and had to stick with the alphas. His family also take a lot of pride in the sweets industry and his handmade chocolates are the best.

Hmmmmm.

Asami Satoo, her ranking second. She's hot with a great body but her heart is that of a lioness and she views people who have not lived to her expectations as ants. She's literally the symbol for S&M in this school. Her mother owns a fashion line, her father is a big time engineer and she owns her bar named after her. She's also the president of the disciplinary committee which explains why she's so cold and fierce.

Then finally, Haru Aizawa. The boss, the first, the leader and the most handsome in the group. Being the president of the students council, the winner of sexiest actor for two years and a family that invested in every sector of business you can think of. Food, housing, entertainment etc. They even owned a fucking museum to themselves!

It was because of him I hated everything about that class.

He was prideful, rude, disrespectful, superior complex, an alpha with no sense of mercy and he was urgh! Just everything I hated in one life form.

"There are people who think just because they had a little luck to be alphas, that everyone here are meaningless life forms that can be eradicated by choice. Last week, Haru spilled a bucket of water on a teacher and fired her just because she accidentally stepped on his shoe!"

"Well I don't think they're all bad. Levi, Arata and Akio are kinda cool." Rin said before I nodded in agreement.

School dismissed like any other day. I waited for Rin outside the building while sitting on the bench before I heard screams of excitement.

I turned back to see the Elites walking to their cars before Akio turned and walked to me when he saw I shyly waved at him.

"What are you doing?" I asked him casually before he laughed at my question and pinched my cheeks.

"Getting so defensive already. I just wanted to greet you. I've missed you." Akio said as he started kissing my face in public making me to laugh as I pushed him away.

He didn't stop till I punched his head hard making him to hiss in pain as I scolded him.

"You know I can get you in trouble. I am vice president."

"Vice whatever my ass. Where's the chocolate?" I asked as I stretched out my hand before he sighed and gave me five bars from his bag.

"Need a ride, haven't seen Hinata in a while." He said referring to my elder sister who ran away from college to visit me.

"Yeah. Come over whenever alpha duties isn't keeping you." I said before he nodded and then left.

This was one reason I loved Akio.

He was sweet, considerate, caring and pampered me a lot.

He respected everyone and would take action when needed or pushed but sometimes he can be an airhead that no one close would notice unless your friendship was very intimate.

"Sorry I'm late." Rin apologized before I gave her a bar of chocolate and she smiled.

"I can't believe I missed him." Rin said as she snapped her fingers at the end of her statement.

"I can believe I did." I said before I took a bite and moaned at the taste.
