CHAPTER 41
Tate dressed up in a hood and jogged to his sister's school which wasn't far away from their home. Even though he had warned Chris yesterday, he was unsettled whether those hobos would listen, the last thing he wanted was for his sister to be tortured by those rascals.
It seemed he would have to do the job of escorting Lora back home so that doesn't happen. He would only have to do it for a while, once he wins the state tournament, he would have to leave Apex Grove because an agency would definitely sign him, so he wouldn't have to worry about the barbarians anymore.
Tate stayed a few steps away from the school entrance. He didn't want to go in and pick his sister up like he should, it would make her feel small and that was the last thing he wanted.
