For centuries, the Grimcrown Pack has been at war with the Bloodrose pack. It doesn’t help that the part of the land they are battling for is the wonderland of the Himalayas. A paradise that no one seems eager to give up. Now that the Bloodrose pack has gotten their Luna with them, they are stronger together.
Undefeatable.
That leaves the Alpha of the Grimcrown pack in a tough position. It makes Thyrius look bad in the eyes of his people. Not that anyone would verbally ever say that. His one sharp look is enough to make everyone lower their heads and swallow their voices deep in their stomach.
Thyrius needs to find his mate before time runs out and it’s too late to defend the claims made by his ancestors. The only thing that can satisfy his pack for now.
While Thyrius prepares himself to journey back to the city so he could begin the search for his mate, little does he know that his mate is not too far from his eyes. All he has to do is accept the invitation to make peace with all the enemy packs.
Sadly, Thyrius doesn’t believe in peace or any pledges made by the rival packs. Centuries of betrayal taught him to always expect the worst from people. Perhaps to humour himself, however, Thyrius turns up at the treaty, surprising the congregation. Least expecting his mate to be there, too.
So when his gaze finally draws to Elinor, a clueless human captured by the rival pack; time stills, hearts stop, and the air around them crackles with dangerous electricity.
Every cell in his body growls just one word.
