NO ONE WIN'S HIM

In the Queen’s room, the king, the midwives and her personal maid were all awaiting the Queen’s safe delivery.

The king watched as his wife begged the midwives to just take out the baby, neither the king nor the queen had ever experienced anything like this because this was their first child but little did they know this would be their last.

After so much cry of the queen then came the cry of the baby, the king who had been pacifying and encouraging his wife heard the midwife say to them

“congratulations it’s a boy”.

The queen didn’t even care about herself, all she wanted was to embrace her baby boy, king Levi joined in admiring their son, Elena knew from then on, there would be constant dangers lurking around their son so what she wished for was the safety of that of her husband and son.

Levi could see the worries in his wife’s eyes so he vowed to his wife and son saying

“I will protect you both even with my life”.

The king couldn’t wait to tell the whole world of his son who would be named heir to the throne and after his death, become king.

Levi set out to attend court meetings after spending the whole morning and afternoon with his precious wife and his beautiful son.

In the royal court room, minister Makari was blabbering about the new born prince and the neighboring kingdoms he had sent letters to about the new born prince, but that wasn’t what bothered the king, it was the constant fear and worries that someone was going to harm his wife and son.

He couldn't trust his family especially his sister.

In the king’s sister’s room, Allegra was fuming in anger.

When she had gone to visit the queen on her safe delivery she had actually gone to mock her for bearing a girl but on seeing the baby boy in queen Elena’s arms Allegra was stunned she knew her brother couldn’t birth a son because she and her personal witch had made sure of that.

In the room Antonio her husband was trying to pacify her to be patient but deep within her heart, her thoughts spoke with a mind of their own saying;

‘I will kill the newly born prince, son of the king Levi and queen Elena’.

When Levi got to his quarters he saw Elena breastfeeding their child it was such a wonderful sight to behold, so he just watched.

Elena noticed him leaning on the door frame, so she signaled him to come over. When he got closer he didn’t even bother to take of his royal robes, he just carefully carried his son and asked his wife

“What should we name him?”

She replied saying…

“He looks so beautiful and also he looks like he is a god … “ then Levi cut in saying…

“Let’s name him ARISHEM meaning celestial ruler of all existing and yet to come existence”.

Elena agreed because he did look like a ruler, but his looks worried her, he looked too beautiful to be their child, not that she and her husband were not good looking, but Arishem’s was the unearthly kind of beauty, even his eyes sometimes looked like there were flames burning in there and sometimes they would look deep blue as calm as the oceans.

All in all she loved her son and also named him her little teaser because even though he was young, she noticed he liked to wiggle his eye brows she was sure he would be a seducer.

Today was Arishem’s celebration, so king Levi chose to celebrate it in a grand way.

Many kings and queens were present to admire the baby boy of king Levi and queen Elena.

They were all astonished to see that Arishem was beyond beautiful or handsome or good-looking. He surpassed them all.

One king named Quince called Arishem the devil’s son in his mind because no normal baby’s eyes changed colours.

During the time every one was dinning, drinking and eating, a guest walked towards where the king and Queen were seated, with Arishem in his cradle between his father and mother.
