"Just keep practising and you'll slowly manage to do it. To get better, you'll have to improve your chakra control so go back to sir hokage and ask him for methods where you can improve your chakra control.
Once you manage to create a seal mark which will enable you to use the technique in battle, I'll teach you the advanced methods. Honestly, I didn't expect that it'll be over in just a day.
I was asked to teach this to a handful of people in the past but even after a month, they were unable to use the jutsu. Their seal marks were way better than yours but they still couldn't use the jutsu.
Honestly, why don't people understand how space-time ninjutsu work? Like, it's not hard is it? It's basically like you enter a black space and you're pulled towards your targeted seal mark. What's so complicated about that?
Anyways, you're free to go home now. It's already so late." Minato said as he looked up at the dark sky.
Kira looked at Minato, but said nothing.
'That's cuz you learnt it from your own insight. Without scientific proof or experience, they won't be able to understand the concept like you or me. Heck the way you understood how the space-time ninjutsu works is way different from my understanding.'
He kept his thoughts to himself as he bid farewell to Minato for the day.
While he ran back home, Minato used his flying raijin and teleported back into his house.
Kushina, who saw him appear suddenly, didn't jump up in fright or react fiercely. Instead she just looked at him and asked, "It took you quiet a lot of time."
"Yeah. That kid has exceptional talent in space-time ninjutsu but his chakra control is a little bad. He managed to perform the flying raijin in a single try, but I'm sure that he'll be able to reach my level sooner or later."
Kushina nodded, "That's really impressive. It's a pity that uncle Sakumo's death changed him so much, but shouldn't you be telling the Hokage about this? After all, Kira is his official student, but uh... don't tell him about the things Kira told me at the end."
******
Kira's House.
Kira sat on the floor as he thought about his plans for the future. The third great ninja war would start in around 4 to 5 years and before that, there were limited opportunities to get character points.
"One more year at the academy and I can graduate. This way, I'll get a character point for entering grade 3 and I'll also get one point for graduating. With this, I'll have around 3 to 4 years of preparation time.
I'll be able to become a genin and there's also a chance of Hiruzen letting me take the chunin exams right after I become a genin. So for one year, I'll have nothing I can do to get a character point other than wait for my clone to finish the task of helping 10,000 people and doing my daily physical training like always.
In my free time, I can just practice taijutsu and ninjutsu. For now, there's no need for me to upgrade my genjutsu talent. Other than for using regular clones, I don't see myself needing genjutsu in general." he muttered and brought his hands together, making a plus sign.
He weaved his wood nature chakra and created three more clones before sending them away by using the wooden walls of his house as a medium.
'Luckily, I have a lot of chakra thanks to it being SS grade.' he thought as he summoned even more clones but this time, they were shadow clones instead.
"You guys go outside and fight each other. Although I have decent ninjutsu and taijutsu talent, I barely have any kind of real experience with combat." he said and his clones did as he asked them to do.
Once his 5 clones were gone, Kira opened his system and looked at the extra character point that he had gotten for turning 6 years old. Yes, his birthday overlapped with the first day of the academy.
At first, he saved it so that he could use it for unpredictable circumstances and now, he felt like it was the right time to do so. With a total of four character points saved up, he invested them all into chakra control.
Chakra Control: D -> S
Kira was the one who made this talent system so he knew the exact values that each grade of chakra control provided.
Both F and E grade gave the user 20% chakra control. D to S grade gave a 10% increase while the SS and SSS grade gave a 5% increase, but this was actually not a direct increase.
In fact, it was just an increase in his maximum chakra control limit. If he wanted to reach the 90% chakra control that S grade provided, he would have to train on his own.
But as long as he trained, he would easily reach the maximum limit of the said grades of his chakra control talent. His system did help him out a lot, but it also restricted him in other ways.
If his chakra control talent was F rank, then no matter how well he practised, his chakra control would only be around 20%. Which meant that whenever he used any ninjutsu, he could potentially waste around 80% of his chakra.
In other words, only 20% would be used while the other 80% would go to waste.
As for things that needed chakra control, like walking on walls, he would need a minimum of 60% chakra control to achieve the intended effects.
Basically, it went like;
0 (None)
20(F)
40(E)
50(D)
60(C)
70(B)
80(A)
90(S)
95(SS)
100(SSS)
With his potential for chakra control now increased to 90%, he could create a better seal mark, but before that, he would need to practice walking on trees, walls and walking on water.
Even so, he began remodelling his seal mark that was on his hand and by the time it was midnight, he was done. It had improved considerably and just by feeling the thickness at different areas of the seal mark, he could tell that the difference wasn't small.
