Nigh Omnipotent In Multiverse

I was deep in slumber when a persistent voice called out, repeating "Parker" like a broken record. Abruptly, a sharp impact jolted me awake, but my surroundings remained a hazy blur. Fumbling for something to aid my vision, a nearby person handed me glasses—I wear glasses.

With newfound clarity, I discovered myself in a classroom, the curious gazes of my peers fixed upon me. Amidst the whispers, a mocking voice cut through.

???: "Looks like Parker didn't watch enough, so he's catching z's in class."

Laughter erupted, echoing in the room. The teacher intervened with a stern reminder.

Teacher: "You forget I'm still your teacher."

The resounding thud of a desk silenced the laughter, and the lecture resumed.

As the bell chimed, signaling the end of the lesson, students filed out. Yet, one lingered—Peter, Parker.

His gaze fixated on the ground beneath him as his identity flooded back. Instead of exhilaration, anger consumed him. He shattered my dreams, manipulating me into becoming a killer, forcing me into undercover operations where I took the lives of unrelated individuals.

Eventually, a senior officer's misdeeds were exposed by the National Authority. Fueled by rage, I took matters into my own hands, ending his life in a courtroom showdown. However, my own demise came swiftly as policemen, responding to my violent act, struck my head, leading to fatal bleeding.

Now, I inhabit this new body. In my previous existence, I revered Spider-Man, but in this alternate reality, I am Peter Parker. The son of Richard and Mary Parker, my parents' demise remains shrouded in mystery.

During my formative years, I shared a close bond with Harry Osborn and Gwen Stacy, the latter of whom would later become the renowned vigilante Spider-Woman.

Enduring relentless bullying for my nerdy demeanor, I earned the disparaging moniker "Pathetic Parker." Gwen consistently stood by my side, but the torment only fueled my resentment towards my peers.

Following the emergence of Spider-Woman, Peter's admiration for the vigilante intensified. However, this only exacerbated the bullying he endured at school, as his peers taunted him for his devotion to the superheroine. Driven by a deep desire for powers akin to hers, Peter reached a breaking point with the mistreatment he faced.

Frustrated by years of torment, the young student resorted to using a formula pilfered from Dr. Curt Connors for a science fair project. The experiment transformed him into the Lizard, providing a means to exact revenge on those who had subjected him to relentless abuse.

The Lizard resurfaced at the school prom, triggered by a culmination of bullying and the sight of his best friend Harry asking Gwen out. Fueled by a mix of embarrassment and jealousy, Peter's romantic feelings for Gwen intensified, driving him to unleash the Lizard once more.

After wreaking havoc in the school, his demise came in a battle with Spider-Woman, despite pleading for her to cease the onslaught. As he reverted to his normal self, he professed a simple desire to be "special" like her. His tragic death would serve as a catalyst for Spider-Woman's subsequent heroic deeds.

Cursed, cursed, cursed — my impending death orchestrated by someone's quest to make Gwen a hero. It's reminiscent of the movie "Final Destination," where the protagonist narrowly escapes death, only to meet a gruesome end in some twisted twist of fate.

The irony of my luck isn't lost on me; in a past life, I was a gangster. Now, I inhabit a body hurtling toward its demise, with Dr. Connors' impending arrival at the school looming just five days away.

Despair engulfs me, an inescapable fate hanging heavy no matter my efforts. The school bus arrives, transporting me either to Peter's house or my own.

Upon reaching Parker House, I disembark and ascend the steps of the two-story dwelling. Aunt May, Uncle Ben's wife, greets me, inquiring about my day at school. Without uttering a word, I retreat to my room.

Discarding my bag haphazardly, I collapse onto the bed. The room, cluttered and chaotic, bears witness to an array of scientific items and a scattering of Ghost Spider posters.
