Newest Cullen (Twilight Saga Fanfiction)

It's a rainy day in Forks. As always. Perfect for my family, terrible for everyone else. I'm a Cullen. Athena Cullen. 120 years old today. Our huge light coloured house will be very bright tonight. When we celebrate anything Alice goes overboard. I have pale skin, like all the Cullens. We are vampires. I have black hair and unlike the rest of the Cullens I have light aqua eyes. None of us can tell why but I do. I have light freckles dotting my entire body. We think that I'm half human but every machine Carlisle uses tell us I'm dead.

I have a theory that I am half vampire but my skin is so much like a normal vampires that the machine can't pick up on the beating of my heart. I don't feel a pulse, I can feel pain but all vampires can. If we all go silent and listen very hard we can hear a faint heart beat. It's weird because I need normal food to survive, I can't drink blood. My body rejects it. So we always keep the house stocked up on food. I'm the youngest Cullen, out of all of them. I'm the baby sister.

Right now I'm in history. I'm best friends with a new girl named Bella. "Alright Bella stop staring at Edward next door. Focus on the test." I say jokingly.

"Hey! He is handsome, your whole family is amazingly beautiful. I can't tell why. I'm staying strong with the fact that you guys are gods and goddesses that have descended to live a normal life on earth." She whispers.

"No talking." Our teacher says.

I finish my test with 59 minutes of class left. Darn. Too quick for a normal human. Eh, I'm not human. I pass in the test and he reads through the answers, looks at me in surprise and tells me to sit down. I can read thought and start talking to Edward a crossed the hall.

'Teachers are SO stupid.' I think.

'I know sis, hang in there. Only like 56 minutes left of your class.' Edward thinks.

'Ha ha. Easy for you to say. You get to skip like every biology class because of the blood of Bella Swan.' I think.

'Hey just because your a defective vampire doesn't mean you get to pick on my perfectly normal vampire urges.' He jokes.

'I am not defective. I'm just different, really really different.' I think back.

'Bring up a mental image of what Bella is doing.' He demands.

I think of Bella's concentrated face as she works on her test. How her brow slightly furrows and she bites on the inside of her lip.

'Why do I love her on top of her being my singer?' Edward asks.

'I am truly sorry but I am out of answers. Maybe she sings to you because you love her?' I ask.

'Maybe. I want to show her what I am. Her mind is strangely blocked, I can't read it.' He thinks.

'I know. It's weird. I wonder what her power would be if she ever gets turned..' I think.

'She won't ever get turned. I like how her heart rate increases when I smile at her.' He thinks.

'Ugh love bird stop screaming your thoughts. I don't like knowing how exactly all your fantasies of her go about. Mainly her laugh, other more gross things. Ew. Stop! STOP! EDWARD YOUR SO GROSS!' I scream in my head.

I ask they teacher if I can leave the class. I go to the rest room and retch. Then I go back to class after cleaning up myself. Edwards thoughts are guarded. He doesn't want to cause me pain. The teacher says I look pale, I laugh. "I'm fine sir." I say.

When class is over I go home, saying I puked. Alice tells me to stay in my room and not to read her thoughts. I look in my closet and Alice comes running up the stairs screaming for me to let her pick my clothes out.

I let her. My mind is too weak to fight it. She picks out black ripped skinny jeans and a light white half top. I was 15 when I was changed. Youngest changed out of all of us. My hips had already expanded, the vampire venom made my curves more prominent. I am still reminded of the night I was changed. Carlisle found me on the street. I had been stabbed so many times. 39 to be exact. With a sword. Each time the sword went through me until there wasn't a spot on my chest and stomach that didn't have a hole in it. I still have 10 scars above my heart. Carlisle saved me and when my eyes didn't change he decided to fight with the vampire council on how I wasn't too young to be turned. That anything I did he would be responsible for. They let him keep me. I'm forever grateful for him. And the rest of them for backing him up. All except Rosalie had backed him up saying I was old enough. She still hates me. Our pasts are like the same story just different names and ages, or at least, the ending of our stories are the same kinda.

Soon everyone gets here and even Bella is coming in her old red truck. Seeing the whole family for the first time. I can't wait.

When Bella arrives I get the door. She says I look amazing and hugs me. Bella mainly sticks around me but floats around every so often. Alice decorated the down stairs and invited practically the whole town. She put streamers, balloons, and multicoloured lights all over the place. T-shirt has a DJ table set up and is playing a whole bunch of party music. She pushed aside all the furniture and set up a dance floor. I laugh when people get so drunk of the spiked punch they fall over. Jasper spiked the punch without us realizing until the party started. So now we have spiked punch. The humans get so drunk we have to call sober friends to come pick them up and drive them home.

Soon the party is over, I got gift cards, money, shirts, books, and makeup. I don't wear makeup but eh, I still said thanks.

The party is over soon and I can go back to being myself, meaning a test subject. Carlisle wants to see what contacts do to my eyes. Alice cleans everything up quickly due to our unnatural speed. I sit on our marble counter and Carlisle puts the contact into my eye. I blink so the contact settles and then my vision goes dark. I hear myself screaming but I can't stop myself. "Athena! Athena your fine it's okay!" I hear someone yell but I'm still screaming, I can sense I've gotten off the counter and I'm in a kneeling position on the floor, ready to strike.

Someone tries to calm me down, Jasper. I continue to scream and I hear glass break as I jump out a window. I continue to scream because I still can't see.

I hear a voice. Someone is screaming their thoughts. I look into their mind and see me in our lawn. I'm in a ball. I'm screaming and I thrash when they try to get close to me. Jasper jumps on top of me and I watch him go flying as I fight back by kicking him. Then I take off into the woods. Great I can't see and I'll be lost! Ugh! It's hard to be mad and hit something when I can't see!

I run into a tree, then another, and another. I sense someone following me and slow down, I don't stop. I need help.

I stop completely and start clawing at the contact. I hear a wolf growl. It's behind me. Mhm. Don't remember turning around but who cares it hurts! The pain starts to go from a white hot burning to a pounding, searing, acid attacking my eye. I stopped screaming. The growl gets louder but I keep clawing. Suddenly the growl stops and I hear a voice. I can't make out what the voice is saying. I stop clawing and try to listen. "It's ok! Lay down and I can help you since you've come onto the wolves territory!" The voice yells.

I sniff. It smells of wet dog. 4 wolves. La Plush wolf pack. One of them smells really good. I follow the sent and lay down, forcing my eyes open. I feel a finger in my eye and soon the burning subsides.

Within minutes I can faintly see silhouettes. I can't see fully but I can make out most colours and faint blurry humans. No. Wolves. They are just in human form. One of them pulled out the contact.

"Thank you." Is all I can say without crying.

I don't have any tears. So I my chest just heaves whenever I cry. I force myself to suck in air normally. "It's ok. Your on our side of the town. Is this war?" One of them asks.

His voice is like a lullaby. Sweet. Soft. Makes you feel warm inside.

"Not war. There was something in my eye. I still can't see very well..." I say.

I'm offered a eye patch. It's put on my face and forces the hurt eye to close. Through the one eye that works I can see just as well as a human.

"Thanks." I say.

"Your welcome." Says a boy.

It's the same amazing voice. With that amazing smell. Have I found my singer?! He smiles a full white teeth smile. It's so handsome. I would have fallen over if I hadn't already been on the ground. Somehow I get into a standing position. None of the wolves touch me. I stumble towards my side of the barrier. Someone catches me when I fall. Everything goes black.
