NGJ Chapter 88: The Undead King Subjugation

Man, I am fucking tired .
In the span of 3 days, I forced myself to the absolute maximum. Exerting myself to levels I never have before.
First of all, my undead team has successfully assembled the detection curtain meant to surround Kuoh and activated it. It doesn't cover the entirety so much as it makes a barrier around it at the moment to detect outsiders. I could improve that later, it's not too important.
What was important was how much I was grinding.
I was running dungeons.
TWICE OVER.
Both of my bodies were in different dungeons. Fighting as hard as I could, my first body had Wiz with me and used primarily melee and was training black flash, getting it to level 12, increasing the time frame and the power multiplier slightly.
My second body was with Alpha, or rather was getting carried by him as Alpha by himself could clear an entire horde of monsters with a few swings of his blade.
He has-
Over 25 fucking times my maximum HP.
So my body there was just grinding his skills while Alpha dealt with the enemies. I did not have my army out so all of the exp was going to me Wiz, and Alpha.
I cleared the crystal caves about 18 times. Because out of all of the instant dungeons available to me, it is the best for pure grinding since it has a fuckton of mobs, not a lot of empty space and special loot that increases my stats. I am talking about stat crystals.
In my 18 runs, I got about 28 strength crystals, 12 agility crystals, 31 endurance crystals, 20 vitality crystals, 12 intelligence crystals and 22 wisdom crystals.
All of them gave me 5 of the stat each. And their effectiveness went down by 1 for every 10 crystals I consumed giving me a total of:
+58 Agility
+114 Strenght
+122 Endurance
+90 Vitality
+58 Intelligence
+98 Wisdom
From the crystals alone. Also using Dark Wisdom on the crystal golem boss gave me another trait.
[Lightning Rod]
Getting hit by spells restores your CE by 20% of the damage dealt.
Would have been MUCH more useful if my health pool wasn't so meagre. Any attack that could give me any useful amount of CE back would already put me on death's door.
After running the crystal dungeons a few times I did something clever. To speed up my grind I decided to make things a little more challenging.
[Binding Vow: Crystal Chains]
Inside of the instant dungeon Crystal Caverns Akira Gojo and his undead are weakened by 50%. In exchange, all EXP they receive from the mobs in crystal caverns is doubled.
Did this lead to one of my clones nearly dying? Of course, but what is without a little bit of risk?
I could put more general restrictions on myself but decided against it. These vows are permanent and all it takes is just one impulsive decision to be stuck with a permanent restriction.
I don't trust my impulsive ass with any non very specific and avoidable binding vows.
Anyway, the real boon here was that with all of that absolute ball busting I finally finished my main class.

One of the most generic traits I have ever seen but hey. Generic does not equal bad.
And once that was I scrolled through the new classes available to me and easily decided on what I would pick next.

A massive class with massive benefits. I am absolutely sure it will be a massive EXP sink but I am willing to bear with it. Especially since it increases my general power overall instead of one specific aspect.
Alongside all of that, I managed to raise every single one of my schools of magic to the intermediate level. Boosting the power and lowering the cost of all the spells I have. Hell, Fire Magic even managed to reach the Adept level. My Burning Sea is incredibly devastating at this point.
My current stats looked something like this

Alright, let's do this.
I took out the [Shibuya Incident Ticket into my hands and tore it in half without hesitation. As I did so my body vanished into the air.
A moment later I felt my feet touch down on solid ground prompting me to look around, I was on top of a skyscraper next to the Shibuya train station. You could see the skyline of the entirety of Shibuya from here. Alongside the veil covering a decent portion of Shibuya.
As I took the sight in, the scenario quest reared its head. When I finally looked at it my eyebrows twitched involuntarily, I couldn't help but smile.

[Scenario Quest: The Undead King Subjugation]
A veil has been cast over the Shibuya, trapping all sorcerers inside including you inside. In order to trap you inside and kill you, in hopes of incarnating you into a cursed spirit.
Kenjaku and the curses are trying to kill you in order to awaken your cursed spirit. And the Sorcerers are trying to seal you to put an end to the threat you pose to the entire world.
Conditions:
Survive until 8 AM
or
Break Kenjaku's veil
or
Kill all of the enemies in Shibuya
Optional objectives:
1. Sorcerer Killer: Kill Megumi Fushiguro, Kugisaki Nobara, Yuji Itadori, Atsuya Kusakabe, Ui Ui, Mei Mei, Nanami Kento, Arata Nitta, Takuma Ino, Panda, Maki Zennin, Naobito Zennin, Aoi Todo, Noritoshi Kamo, Kasumi Miwa, Momo Nishimiya, Ogami and her grandson, Jiro Awasaka, Niji Ebina, Toge Inumaki, Choso and Haruto Shigemo
2. Curse Exterminator:
Kill Jogo
Kill Hanami
Kill Dagon
Kill Mahito
Kill Kenjaku
Rewards: Rewards are dependent on how many objectives are completed and targets killed.

Well, if there is one bright side to this it's that at least Gojo should at least be already sealed so I don't have to resort to esoteric bullshit to try to get around Infinity. Even then I give myself a slim, very slim chance of making it out of a fight against the real Gojo.
The bad side though. I don't have any initiative, in fact, quite the opposite. It is likely from how the quest is worded that everyone targeting me has at least some idea of what my abilities are.
Well, I know their abilities too but it is certainly frustrating.
Then suddenly. A devious idea came into my mind.
This scenario was trying to screw me over. This mission is harder than I signed up for. The scenario was different.
But there is something this game is forgetting.
It isn't the only one that can flip the table over.
The corner of my lips quirked up.
The undead king. I like the sound of that.
Next to me, I summoned Ddraig using the familiar connection.
"Ara? What is this place? A new dungeon?" Ddraig looked around calmly before her gaze landed on me. More specifically my face.
"My, that's quite the scary expression you have Akira." She commented but at the same time, she had a nervous expectant smile.
"Maybe, this is a special dungeon, one that imitates our world with a few large differences. But that isn't very important right now. Ddraig." She got more serious once I addressed her, I don't know why but I am feeling fantastic right now.
"Boost to the maximum and transfer it all to me." Her eyes widened before she gave a weary smile.
"Seems like you are planning something insane, but I like that side about you too. You are the boss." Saying that she raised her hand, a clawed red gauntlet with a red gem appearing on it before it shone and let out an announcement.
"[BOOST]!"
"[BOOST]!"
"[BOOST]!"
"[BOOST]!..."
"[TRANSER]!"
I felt overwhelming power fill my body, an intoxicating sensation, I felt power thrum within me. Granting me a sense of omnipotence. All for one shot. One technique. One move.
My hands moved, doing several hand signs as a restriction placed on the move to make it work with even more power. My cursed energy output was pushed to the limits as I unleashed the absolute maximum of my technique, its pinnacle.
[ GRAVE BUSTER ]
"Maximum Technique:"
"Kazikli Bey!"
An ominous aura overtook the entirety of the veil, leading to all of the sorcerers and curse users to look around them in a wary manner.
At the same time, Kenjaku who was with the cursed spirits raised his head and smiled ominously.
"Be careful everyone, it seems like he has started moving. It would be best to brace yourselves." Jogo hearing this turned his head toward Geto.
"What do you mean, Geto-" Before he could finish his sentence he quickly reinforced his body with cursed energy, and so did Hanami, Mahito, Choso, Geto and Mahito.
And not a moment after.
*BOOM!* *CRASH!* *CRASH!* *CRASH! *CRASH!*
All around Shibuya, from the very ground beneath the feet of everyone capable of wielding cursed energy erupted several meters-long metal spikes at the speed of sound, ripping through even the reinforced flesh of anyone below grade 1. And anyone who wasn't at that level or anyone who hadn't reinforced themselves got turned to red mist by the spikes piercing their bodies with more force than several tank shells combined.
Anyone who tried to dodge were met with more spears erupting below, ripping their bodies to shreds.
Even those who had reinforced their bodies and were strong enough to block had their bones shattered and their bodies pierced by the brutal stakes.
And the mad undead king watched with glee from above the skyline as hundreds of spears over 5 meters erupted all around the area.

Akira's smile widened. Without tearing his gaze from the impalement erupting around Shibuya he reached into his subspace, getting both himself and Ddraig a potion.
They needed to be in tip-top shape. After all...
it was time to commence slaughter.

A/N: Plot twist! The scenario was made in mind with Akira's presence, and with the presence of someone as utterly broken by Jujutsu standards as Akira the whole incident tends to change. But I wonder what Kenjaku means by "Awakening Akira's cursed spirit by killing him"? So ominous.
