Naruto : Golden Coin

This is a story that takes place in the Naruto universe, but because the protagonist is someone who was reincarnated in this universe, he knows how the story goes. And with that in mind, he will have to work hard not to die in countless canonical events, and of course, non-canonical ones that he will create unintentionally or willingly. I hope you all enjoy this great adventure.

Paralyzing Sword

The day had barely begun and Ryo fell to the ground exhausted, breathing heavily as he tried to get up, but all the muscles in his body no longer responded. It had been like this for the past two weeks of Ryo training with Kentou. He struggled to get up but felt an electric current coursing through his body. Then came the voice of the man beside him. "Control the chakra more precisely, you need to locate where the electric currents are and neutralize them with your own chakra."

Ryo had been struck in certain chakra points in his body which had released a chakra current over him, causing an electric effect similar to a modern taser where one loses muscle control, making it difficult to move. "Doing this every day doesn't make it any easier!" he thought, recalling how Kentou changed the chakra points each time. Despite understanding the previous day's points, the next day's would be entirely new. "Just like Neji with the Gentle Fist of the Hyuuga, but instead of chakra points, it's the muscles."

Ryo writhed on the ground for a few more minutes until he finally managed to start moving his arms again, but one of his legs remained completely numb. Sitting on the ground to catch his breath, he then placed both hands on his leg. As he did so, he managed to completely remove Kentou's chakra effect from his body and then fell back, looking up and breathing heavily. He knew he needed excellent chakra control for something like this, and Kentou, who trained him, knew it too, speaking up. "Great, just as I told you on the first day of training, to become a medical ninja you need excellent chakra control and a good amount of it. You have one of the two already, but your chakra, even though it's at a genin level, is still too low. We'll train that too."

Kentou, who had observed Ryo over these two weeks, had a smile on his face. He didn't expect a boy like Ryo to do everything he had done, from mastering chakra control to even dispelling the electric fist. "Once your chakra is higher, I'll teach you this technique that's been coursing through your body every day during training." This made Ryo open his eyes wider as he finally managed to stand up. "You'll teach me? I thought you were only going to teach me how to be a good medical ninja."

Ryo was truly surprised. He wanted to learn how to perform his role as a medical ninja well, but now, if he could do everything very well, he could gain a combat technique! Every time Kentou used the technique on Ryo, he used a tree branch since they didn't have a training sword on-site, and a real sword would only kill the boy. Thinking about this, Ryo became more motivated. "I had to decrease the intensity of the gold coin training since I barely have time for it now with Kentou-sensei training me when I'm not at the academy. I thought it might affect my performance, but if I can learn the technique, it'll be worth it."

Looking at Kentou, he asked, "Kentou-sensei, what's the name of this technique? You always use it on me, but you don't make any seals or say its name." He looked at the boy for a few seconds before responding. "It's a style of fighting called Paralyzing Sword. I developed it during my active years. It focuses on chakra control and dispersal in strikes, which is why I use a katana. But one thing at a time, Ryo, you have to go step by step."

The boy nodded before returning to training. The training summarized in stopping the body's paralysis, then noting the achievements on the body and how he had managed to disperse the muscle's chakra, and then he still had to read a good amount of medical books, as he had to have as much practical as theoretical knowledge to learn about medical ninjas. "The knowledge of a medical ninja goes far beyond just using ninjutsu and healing someone. Even if the ninja knows this, they have to know all the knowledge of medicine from basic to advanced! I don't think I can do that in a month. But in these two weeks, my control and chakra have already increased to genin level."

He knew that by continuing to train like this, he wouldn't take long to truly become stronger, but there were still many factors missing in Ryo's skills, especially more combat experience. So the day went on like this: Ryo trained in the morning and at night with Kentou, and went to the ninja academy in between. In the academy, Ryo had met some more classmates, but he didn't want to make friends with anyone else. Apart from Naruto, Ryo didn't have the strength to protect anyone yet, and he couldn't afford to truly care about others again.

He had almost died because of that, of course, he didn't regret acting that way, but it had been painful for Ryo, and he needed time to heal his mind, so he had chosen to focus on training. In the ninja academy, there were some interesting figures. In his class, there were some Hyuugas, and even some Senjus, which Ryo didn't understand very well. He knew Tsunade was one, but others he had no mention of in his memories, yet there they were: Senju Iwarabe and Senju Kazan, twin siblings, a boy and a girl.

On the other side of the room were the Hyuugas. One was named Takeo, and the other was Yane. Neither of them was very talkative. Something Ryo noticed was that there were very few students in his class who came from simple families, with only Haruka being in their class. Today at the academy was a day Ryo had been waiting for. It was taijutsu training day, but he was looking forward to it because he wanted to fight one of the Hyuugas, since their taijutsu was basically one of the best there was.

On the training field, Ryo looked ahead as a young man three years older than him stopped in front of him. Hyuuga Takeo was the opponent he would be training with today. Of course, the pairs were chosen by the students themselves, but Takeo had been eyeing Ryo for a few days. He looked at Ryo while thinking, "We need him in the classroom. Asuma-sensei waited to give some content in class because this kid wasn't present yet. I want to see if he's all that." Asuma was on the side, overseeing each combat, and once everyone was ready, he gave permission for the fights to begin.

Takeo charged forward, using the Gentle Fist combat stance, with his palm open, launching it towards the boy's chest in front of him. Thinking, "I've won!" But what followed was the young boy raising his arm to deflect Takeo's palm to the side, then landing a punch on the Hyuuga's chest. Takeo reacted as quickly as Ryo, leaping back, feeling Ryo's punch hit his shirt. "He reacted much faster than I expected!" Activating the Byakugan, Takeo again began barraging Ryo with strikes, but the boy could read all the moves. "I'm not even using any trigrams, but still, he can keep up with me! It's like he's predicting my moves before I even execute them!"

Indeed, Ryo could predict some of what Takeo was going to do. "The Hyuugas' clothing leaves their arms and legs exposed, not the most effective way, but I can understand some of the next movements by the muscle movement in both the arms and legs, but this isn't 100% effective since it only gives me a basis!" he thought as he launched a punch that grazed Takeo's shoulder.

The method Ryo was using was somewhat effective, but still, 4 out of 8 blows he had to dodge either through skill or instinct, which made his predictive ability considerably good. "After training with Kentou, I learned much more about the muscles of the human body, how they contract to make movements and where they are located," he thought. Thinking this, Takeo finally lost patience as he expelled the chakra from his body, and a wave of energy expanded from his body, breaking Ryo's guard, throwing him back a bit.

In the next moment, Ryo could feel a kick to the side of his body. He had somehow defended it, but only with one hand, and as a result, he was thrown to the side, falling to the ground and rolling a few meters. Asuma soon announced the end of their combat. Ryo could feel his hand throbbing with pain, but his bones hadn't broken or cracked, even with the force of the blow, which made Ryo happy as he examined his hand, pressing it in certain spots. He wouldn't even need treatment.

Getting up while dusting off his clothes to clean them, he looked at Takeo with a slight smile. "Thank you for the fight, Takeo-san! I learned a lot from it. I hope we can train together again!" Of course, Ryo would have liked to have hit Takeo harder, but then he wouldn't have been able to see more of his taijutsu, but he pondered on that.

"I also don't know if I can beat him, at least not just with taijutsu. If it were an open fight, I could win with some tricks and feints. Not taking into account what Takeo can do, but hopefully he's one of those Hyuugas addicted to taijutsu."

Takeo felt his leg that had kicked Ryo, it hurt as if he had kicked a piece of stone, but the hand of a boy three years younger than him shouldn't be so resistant. "He still got up after the kick and thanked me! Is he a true taijutsu enthusiast then?!" Misunderstanding what had happened, Takeo also thanked Ryo for the fight.
