Chapter 85 - Operation Revenge

As Team Kakashi and Team Gai have just left Suna, after taking part in Chiyo's funeral, and after saying goodbye to the revived Gaara, and are moving to return to Konoha, with the now obsolete information of Sasori about having a meeting with a spy in Orochimaru's organization.

Meanwhile, in the Land of Whirlpool, in the center of the place where once stood Uzishiogakure, in the hidden by a barrier HQ of the Baransa, another meeting of almost all the members is taking place where they are reporting their missions results.

The first to talk was Haku "The mission was a failure. I was too late and Akatsuki was able to take Shukaku from the Kazekage's body, but thanks to Elder Chiyo's efforts, he was revived and Akatsuki lost two members, Sasori of the Red Sand, who was killed by the joint effort of your sister Sakura and Chiyo, and the former member of Iwa Explosion Corp Deidara, who was killed by me, with the support of Kakashi-san"

Then Ren used the Bakudō #87. Sentan Hakuja (Thousand-Coil White Snake) to teleport both of them near the Uchiha Hideout where Ren first fought Itachi nothing changed, in the distance he could still see a terraced mountain with vast forestry growing on each level, two towers were also built on either side of the mountain connecting directly to it.

Pointing at the hideout, Ren said "You will find him inside, this is where he rests after doing a mission for Akatsuki" and without waiting any longer he ran toward the hideout.

Ren, seeing this, shook his head "He is so blinded by the rage and hatred that he didn't even find the circumstance suspicious...well let's begin the play" he the drew Senbonzakura, and threw it high behind him.

Then the sword phases into the ground, as though it were a pool of water, and Ren says "Bankai", energy ripples expand out, turning the surrounding area white, and within seconds a huge cherry blossom tree with all its buds closed rise up from the ground "Senbonzakura Kagenkyū (Scent of the Illusionary Thousand Cherry Blossom)"

Ren then says "Saka (Bloom)" and all the buds bloom showing the magnificent sight of a cherry blossom tree in full bloom, and a powerful and wonderful arome can be smelt from thousands of kilometers.

'I have two thousand blooms, that means that I can use that technique for only 33m and 33s I have to time it right'

Then, with his spiritual sense, Ren felt that Sasuke was reaching the hall where he was able to convince Itachi after their fight "Let's do this Hakushin no Kōki (True to Life Aroma)" then all the blooms on the tree turned white, and one of the bloom started to wither.

Itachi then closed his eyes and says "You see me dead?...well then..." then he moved fast, appearing behind Sasuke "...let's see how good your eyesight is" then they started exchanging moves one after another, Itachi using a kunai, while Sasuke use his katana, soon the "fight" ends with Sasuke impaling Itachi using Chidori Stream as a diversion.

"You have gotten...much stronger" said Itachi with blood coming out of his mouth, and Sasuke "This is the end Itachi, but before I kill you I have one last question" then Itachi slowly raised his hand then pointed at the throne where a still sitting Itachi was looking at him, then the impaled Itachi became a storn of crows.

Then Itachi asked "What do you want to know? The end is still way off, but I'm willing to listen" and Sasuke "Are you deaf?" next from behind Itachi ,Sasuke appears and once again impaled his brother while the Sasuke in front of Itachi become a groups of snakes "I said "This is the end" you murderous traitorous fucker, but before I kill you I have one last question"

Then Sasuke asked who the other Uchiha was, that helped Itachi that fateful night, and Itachi replied with Madara Uchiha, then he explained about the Mangekyo Sharing history, and after ceasing their genjutsu battle he said "You Sasuke, you will become my new light! You were my spare! For decades, the Uchiha killed their friends to obtain the Mangekyo Sharingan and killed their siblings to make the power permanent! Our clan was forever tainted because they couldn't stop flaunting their power! Your fate has been drenched in blood since you have been born an Uchiha! Now face me my little brother! Once I kill you, I'll be freed from this wrenched clan destiny! Any idea of limit or capacity will be shattered! You and I are each other spare! This is the bond between all the Uchiha brothers!"

Then Sasuke removes his upper wear and says "It was all for this moment huh? Then...finally it all ends here" then they start a furious exchange of shurikenjutsu, but in a moment of distraction Sasuke falls for Itachi's Tsukuyomi, and sees the illusion of Itachi gouging his eye out, but then he is able to break free.

So now that the battle of genjutsu is over, they start one of ninjutsu, where Sasuke is able to briefly come on top thanks to the strain Itachi is feeling over using Tsukuyomi, sending Itachi outside on the roof with a well placed Chidori, but when he followed after Itachi he was intercepted by Itachi's Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique).

But Sasuke was able to defend using the Partial Sage Transformation then they both clashed with a Katon: Gōkakyū no Jutsu but just as Sasuke was about to win the exchange, Itachi used Amaterasu and quickly overwhelmed Sasuke, who then used the Orochimaru's Style Kawarimi no Jutsu (Replacement Technique) to escape below at the expense of a huge amount of Chakra.

Then he uses the full Sage Transformation and a volley the Katon: Gouryuukka No Jutsu (Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique) to bombard Itachi, but at the end, both are exhausted and almost out of Chakra, but soon it starts raining thanks to Sasuke's set up, and so he use is strongest jutsu Kirin.

This jutsu is so strong that it destroyed the whole hideout, then Sasuke totally exhausted fell on his knee and said "It's all over, I did it!" but then he heard Itachi's voice "Was that what you saw in your vision of my death?"

"You have become very strong Sasuke, behold the last weapon in my arsenal, Susanoo" then a bright red ribcage arm and a skull formed around Itachi, then the muscles and in the end even the armor formed around it.

"The end of the line Sasuke, your eyes belong to me now, I'll take them slowy I want to savor this" said Itachi, but then he coughed a mouthful of blood and the Susanoo reverted to the 1st stage, and Sasuke took the opportunity to throw some kunai with tag bomb, but they were useless against Susanoo defense, and so Itachi slowy advance, and all Sasuke did was useless and soon he found himself with his back to the wall.

But just as he was sure that Itachi was about to kill him, he just taps Sasuke on the forehead and then fell on the ground, and then Sasuke looked at his brother's body for a few seconds before falling unsconscious.

A few seconds later, Itachi's body disappeared and Ren came, took Sasuke in his arms and then said "That was the easy part, now I'll have to deal with an angry and moody teen..." then teleported to the meeting point with Itachi.
