Chapter 66: Rescuing Kang Lei

Dominic stood ready for Mengyao Da to make his first move. With quick speed Mengyao Da pulled out his knife and lunged at Dominic's body, he was fast but was easily blocked by Dominic who just glided out of the way. Dominic though he had he opportunity didn't attack Mengyao Da but simply dodged each attack one after the other. "What are you—- doing stop playing around and fight" Mengyao Da spoke with short breaths he was stunned at how quick Dominic was.

"You're right I'll leave you for later, I need to watch you suffer first" Dominic's voice was deep, his pheromones oppressing Mengyao Da's body froze unable to move with every strength he could muster he asked "what are you?" fear was written all over his face, Dominic now looked like demon and his pheromones was beyond anything he had experienced, he couldn't fathom what made Dominic this strong.

Dominic went close to him and before unleashing a strong dose of his pheromones he said in a chilling voice "am going to be your worst nightmare" and like that Mengyao Da's body hit the ground.

Dominic bound Mengyao Da's hands and feet then radio through to Michael to retrieve him.

Dominic had figured that Mengyao Da would have taken Kang Lei to the infirmary the moment he had arrived. He wasted no more time and raced to the where he thought Kang Lei was, his guess was right as soon as he reached the door of the infirmary the scent of Kang Lei's pheromones hit his nostrils sending a relaxing and comforting feeling through his body.

Dominic burst through the doors frightening the female scientist who was standing over Kang Lei's body with a needle in Kang Lei's arm, panic immediately came over Dominic and within a blink of an eye he reached the her pulling her away from Kang Lei.

"What did you do to him!" He roared releasing his pheromones to stop her from moving, "I was — just — giving him something to stable— his — his seizures, the mark he's rej-" --- "Mark, what mark?" Dominic asked panicked, "he was marked my Captain Mengyao Da --- but his body's rejecting the mark" the Female hurriedly reassured Dominic hoping he doesn't kill her.

"He's rejecting it" Dominic turned his attention to Kang Lei, his small frame was convulsing violently on the table, "Do something help him!" He shouted fear was now filling his body.

"We have tried everything, I just give him a dose of medication, I've never seen an omega reject a marking before" the female trembled, she wasn't lying it was unheard of that an omega would reject a mark.

Rage coursed through Dominic's body when when he heard the female state there's nothing she could do, "what did you just say! I said Fix him NOW!" He shouted accidentally releasing a strong dose of his pheromones filling the room with his scent knocking the Doctor unconscious, Dominic rushed to her shaking her to wake up "hay get up, help him shit!" He cursed rushing back to Kang Lei an hurriedly picking him up off table then storming out with him his arms.

On his way out Michael and their men caught up to him, they had never seen Dominic so scared as he held the omega in his arms.

However, as soon as they stepped out of the back exit of building around thirty men stood pointing their guns at them with the Secretary General amidst group.

Both group stared at each other in stalemate waiting for the other to make the first move, after what seemed like an eternity of silence the Secretary General finally spoke "Alpha 1 may I ask where you're going with government property?" His voice calm yet commandingly chilling, "tell your men to stand down" Dominic replied with a deadly look in his eyes, at that very moment could he careless for army politics and more for the person in arms.

The Secretary General chuckled at the ridiculous request, "Now you know I can't do that. But you do have two choices one you and your men can give up and calmly come with us or two die trying to escape. make your choice" he state with smudged look on his face.

Dominic's face darkened he and had enough of these chatty men and they pre dialogues, without warning he held onto Kang Lei tightly in his arms and released a force of pheromones so strong it sent shockwaves throughout the entire base, within seconds the bodies that once stood before them hit the ground lifeless.

It was astonishing the strength and power which Dominic possessed, that it even made some of his men looked at him fearful that he may turn on them, but thankful they had such a man on their side.

With Dominic clearing the path for their escape they made swift getaway. On the ride back had Michael phone through to Dr. Cheng who was now already awaiting their arrival. "Quick put him here" Dr. Cheng hurried after being briefed on the phone by Michael beforehand, Dominic quickly did as he was told then stepped aside to give Dr. Cheng room. Within minutes Dr. Cheng had Kang Lei hooked up to various machines, with a nervous Dominic watching his every move. On their way back Kang Lei's body had stopped convulsing and he appeared to be comfortably in Dominic's arms, this made Dominic feel both relief and dread.

It only took Dr Cheng twenty minutes to do a quick examination of Kang Lei but for Dominic it felt like a life time. "His he okay?" He asked worried, Dr Cheng sighed while looking at Kang Lei's report, "am not going to lie too you Dominic but am surprised he's even alive, just him being able to keep breathing on his own is a miracle. But it's strange his body seems to be stabilising, did you give him anything before bring him here?" Dr. Cheng asked surprised, taking Kang Lei's reaction to the mark there's no way he should be stabilising.

Dominic thought for a moment then remembered "when I found him the doctor there was injecting him with something to manage his seizures could it be that".

"Very unlikely, the medication she likely used wouldn't have helped in anyway to stabilise his condition, but whatever it is we need to find it quick" Dr. Cheng explained with reservations, it was imperative that they found whatever is stabilising Kang Lei's condition.
